Del Torro deserves an Oscar for his role. The last episode, describing the post escape period, was excellent acting by Del Torro. Especially the time he was acting drunk was so extreme good acting...

Who played Tilly's husband? He and Patricia Arquette's makeover and acting was amazing! They look just like the characters they portray.

I binge watch every week on the show...lol! It's so intense and Arquette, Del Toro and Dano are absolutely incredible. Great directing, Ben Stiller, and this story needed to be told! 👍❤🤯😮

I love all 3 of these actors and they did a phenomenal job portraying the real life characters BUT Paul Dano was by far my favorite. He did Sweat so great and I knew watching him in Taking Lives he was going to be huge....HUGE.

This is a really good series. At first it seemed a little slow, but now I'm loving the slow build to the inevitable. The performances are amazing. In particular, Patricia Arquette.

Paul Dano did a G R E A T job! I agree with him. Mr. Sweat should be given the opportunity to use his engineering/mechanical skills via a work program. What a waste for this guy to be in solitary confinement. Could pay the state back faster if he could work...

I lived right next to the prison only 15 minutes away from it at the time these inmates escaped. It was very scary.

I would like to see this. It seems a little soon to have this being made but idk. My uncle was part of the search crew and did transport for Sweat after his recapture. It was definitely a crazy time for us here in upstate NY.

The entire case was phenomenal and Ben Stiller goes into uncharted territory making a drama from his usual comedies.

Close to the Canadian border explains why it’s so dark and bleak ? Hardly!

Good to see Stiller return from where he started, to a serious human drama. I mean Steven Spielberg's "Empire of the Sun," Stiller's feature film debut. Tone wise, both films are similarly bleak about prison, guilt and dreams.

Patricia Arquette. deserves an Oscar ..

Its been years since I've since such an amazing portrayal. What can I say - Everyone has done such an extraordinary performance of each of their characters: Patricia as Tilly: the frumpy middle-aged woman who really doesn't know what she wants. I think its just love, affection and to be noticed. Her husband doesn't fullfill her; Sweat is being forced into this maternalistic/sexual role and Matt is just utilizing her to achieve his escape. Sad Role. Benicio as Matt: is a destroyed, tortured man who wants his spiritual (him riding on the horse) and physical freedom. He utilizes the people around him to achieve each segment of his escape. I have not finished seeing the series, but either he finds his end when he escapes or his destruction will be complete. Paul Dano as Sweat: is being utilized again by both Tilly and Matt but I see him as a pure soul despite his situation in prison. He may reach his physical and spiritual escape. Have to finish the series. I remember Ben Stiller in all his comedic roles but I think he reached the jackpot with this film. He makes you aware of the dark, desperate prison environment but he puts it on a second plane. The focus is on the progression of each of his characters. The movies is slow-paced but for this reason the spectator has time to observe, study and analyze Tilly, Matt and Sweat. He envelops these personages into one sphere. Amazing Work! Ben has to win that Emmy. Congratulations All!
