‘Golden Bachelor’ Gerry Turner Says FANTASY SUITES Are Different at 72 (Exclusive)

Just hours before making his “Golden Bachelor” debut, Gerry Turner caught up with “Extra’s” Billy Bush for a game of pickleball and a courtside chat. Gerry opened up about his emotional journey to find love again after losing his wife of 43 years. He gushed over the “wonderful” group of women vying for his heart and said there will be Fantasy Suites, though the priorities are a bit different at 72! He also seemed to hint at a happy ending, saying that anyone who is open to this process “will not be disappointed.” “The Golden Bachelor” airs Thursdays on ABC.

The fantasy suites are what turned me off about The Bachelor series! Three nights with three different women and then you wanted to marry him? UGH!

This is a fun thing to do for the seniors!!💏 Kinda funny!! I did read that folks over 65 get divorced!! It must be a baby boomer thing!! I think there's a need for more shows like this!! We are living longer and all alone!!😜

I am not sure why he wanted women so old. A man 70, handsome like Gerry could easily land a late 40s or early 50 year old woman. I only watch the show for the eye candy. There is no eye candy on this season. It was so painful to watch that I deleted the season pass from my TIVOS.

@@j.y.3604I totally agree with you. You are so right. He shiuld enjoy retirement and live peacefully with his family or go traveling instead if bringing drama into his life. Also, why would ge want to bring another woman to live in the dream house of his beloved late wife ? That's just not right.

@@pamelakrueger7353 Na. I am superficial. Men always look for younger and prettier. It is just the way it is. Why drive a beater when you can drive a shinny new car? The more money a man has, the younger the girlfriends. Whoever says differently is delusional. I am nearly 50 and am dating a woman 35 years old. We have been together nearly 5 years. Just being honest. I am in South Florida and live on the intercoastal. There is not shortage of young, fit, beautiful woman who want the lifestyle that boating and South Florida offers. Most 30 year "BOYS", still live at home and play Xbox. Most women look for older guys because guys their age have nothing to offer. Most men prefer younger women because we can if we have the coin and keep ourselves fit. It is a double standard, because a 50 year old women usually has to date a 70 year old man.
