Hello KQWC, it's a pleasure to see a station bringing back this classic tune. Hopefully, more stations that, like you, have been around for a while, will follow your example and say "Hello Again." Many stations will be celebrating their 75th anniversary in the next few years, and it's a great opportunity to reminisce and reconnect.
KWQC, I just wanted to tell you that Frank Gari's 'Hello News' spread far from the U.S. I heard it on a newscast called 'Atlantic Pulse', which was on a TV station in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada called the Atlantic Satellite Network, or ASN, which was seen in 4 Canadian provinces that make up the region known as Atlantic Canada. The provinces names are New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, or P.E.I., and Newfoundland and Labrador. The channel was only available by cable or satellite subscribers, so it had no over-the-air presence anywhere it was seen. ASN today is known as CTV2 Atlantic, which is owned by Canada's Bell Media, who have a large footprint in TV and radio all across Canada, and who are based out of Montreal, Quebec and Toronto, Ontario. 🙂
@@nataliecook4709 Uh, Natalie, I was communicating a message to those here about how 'Hello News' spread outside the U.S. I'm unsure if you're trying to promote the Quad Cities as a travel destination for Canadians, but I don't think you are. o.o
