Upon realizing I will not leave the Church She asked me to take care of her beloved dogs when she is raptured bcz I would be left behind. I took her hand and said I would care for them as if they were my own. :).

Thank you so much David, I have been investigating the church for many years now, I feel I am LDS in my spirit. My son at 33 chose to be baptized in the church last february as there was such an impression and impact on our lives through friends and clients. I have not been baptized and explained to my boys that it is a personal journey and relationship with God. I wanted them to come to him on their own with no pressure from me. I baptized my boys with my love and holy water in a creek by our little cabin when the were just litte, preschool age . I am now seeking for myself as a widow, mother and remarried what my purpose is . Both my husbands said they didn't do the church thing. I think that left me wanting it more. I listen all the time to BYU speeches and to you and of course now my son, who is in the priesthood of the church and has received a blessing. I say all this to say thank you for explaining and teaching those of us who are still wondering if we are clean enough to be LDS and pure enough? I know I am not, I enjoy my cocktails, coffee and the soda, but somehting still tuggs on me and I am not quite clear what it is. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, Thank you for reading,.
Revelation 21: 7 says that the righteous will inherit ALL things. All means everything. That includes all of God's powers. Which God takes away from any who won't use them.
@@hollayevladimiroff131 I have, it is specifically talking about certain events, and that only one God did those events. Yahweh says that he alone led the children of Israel out of Egypt, he alone spoke from the cloud, he alone gave them the law, he alone created the earth and he alone is the Savior. Every time God speaks of one God, it is connected to one or more of these specific events. But even the law, the first commandment makes it clear that there is more than one God. "Thou shalt have no other Gods BEFORE me." It does not say "No other Gods." period or "No other Gods besides me." It also makes it clear that the other Gods you can have are real Gods, because God forbids worshiping idols or wood, stone, gold, silver or any other materials that idols are made of in all their various forms. I have to go by what the Bible says, not you or anyone else.
@@hollayevladimiroff131Holly, we read the entirety of scripture and not just one line. Jehovah (Christ), was speaking to Israel to stop making false Idols to worship. He is the God leading them not their gods made of wood and stone or anything else the people can think up. Why do people today choose to merely listen to pastors who throw out parts of scripture and call other Christians names I’ll never listen to. It’s quite funny that so many so called Christians who have different beliefs from one another, will gang up on one church. Think about what entity would lead people to do something like this. Sorry you may be one, just don’t lose faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
I love you MAN, I came into the Church 50 years ago when I was twenty-seven, by way of a set of miraculous experiences, after my beautiful wife threatened to divorce me because I was a selfish alcoholic. The next day I prayed for the first time in 18 years for help with my life. the Lord saved me and my marriage by bringing me into God's true church and gospel. I have been so grateful ever since, and so have been striving to do missionary work ever since, but I am humbled by your heaven-sent gift of the natural expression of love and logic I know the Gospel very well, but I am exactly like Paul in 2 Corinthians 10:10. I can write OK, and the words are in my head but many times it's hard to speak them, in a coherent way, But you have a beautiful gift. Thank you for your testimony! It's amazing how all these other Christian denominations honestly think that they are going to be raptured up yet while rejecting the restored gospel. First off, there is no rapture, and second they all will suffer like the Jews did when they rejected Christ and the apostles. You cannot reject the restored gospel, and think you're going to be saved. Meaning that you're going to be raptured and taken to heaven and not suffer the consequences of rejecting the gospel. Those who rejected Noah were not raptured to heaven. They suffered the consequences of the flood. Those who rejected Christ and the Apostles were not raptured to heaven. They suffered the consequences of the Roman Empire destroying them, their temple, and scattering those that survived.
The beautiful thing about the Gospel is it is to save all mankind, believers and non-believers, and we have the opportunity to participate in the work to fulfill that plan.

To me, the word Christianity is an academic designation for all bible based religious denominations. It doesn't actually make them Christians. There are tens of thousands of denominations in that group. All of them differ from one another in interpretation and understanding of scripture and of God. So to call it Christianity as if it were a singular thing is deceptive, when it is actually a trojan horse of sorts. When you poke it, they all come out with differing Gods, Christs, and gospels. Is the LDS Church like that? Nope.
Christianity is based on the bible, the bible has been proven and validated unlike the Book of Mormon. The bible is Gods word and Christians live by it.

But Bible based religion teaches tens of thousands of different Gods, Christs, and gospels. one set for each different denomination. So the Bible isn't your validation. In fact, it is a silent witness to your deceit, a deceit which is certified by the vast disparity of interpretations and understandings in bible based religion. The bottom line is that bible based religion, which is known as traditional Christianity, is essentially a hoax as far as being representative of God.

Amen David. I just had cateract surgery on my right eye on July 1, on Monday July 15th I will have the left eye done. So I need to stay well and I have been possibly getting a cold so keep me in your prayers. That I will stay well and all will go as planned.
Please don’t be weary of me saying so David…. You were born for such a time as this…. God allows us to experience adversity, all for the same purpose, to motivate us to grow close to Him! We all have something! For you it was years searching for the truth and because of your God given gifts of brain power, you were able to memorize the Bible, and wisdom to understand the truth when the time was right, and the outgoing personality to share with the world, and the courage to speak freely when opposing people try to take you down! It is so much fun working together to build a Zion Community in preparation for the Savior’s return!
Acts 17:28-29 says we are the offspring of God. Genesis say we are created in God's Image. 1 John 3:1-2 says we are God's children and that we will be like him. Don't these mean we are the same species, that we can inherit what God has? What about Romans 8:17-18, or Ephesians 1:11-14. Our Father in heaven would sound like any good father here on Earth.
Jesus is not a created person, He did not inherit anything from God, because Jesus is God. We are created, we are not the biological children of God, we are His adopted children, and those who have received God's grace will be perfected by God's will and then we will be able to enter the kingdom of God.

"Ye are gods" not "ye will be gods" We are already gods, the sons and daughters of God. Just because our maximum potential in Christ is yet unrealized does not change who we are. Protestants need to chill out and find a better way to cope than to just rave against an idea found in a holy book we share in common.

I just want to say read psalms 82 and acts 17 where it is stated “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.” Psalms 82:6 28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. 29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device. According to the bible, Jesus is not created, he is God, He is the Alpha and the Omega, this is the first thing and most important thing that makes Mormonism NOT Christian. Mormonism believes Jesus is created in heaven the first spirit child. Yes, believers of Christ can be like Him, but we are never a god . We can never be God. Mormonism believes that man can exult to a god, this is a pluralistic religion, they believe in more than one God. This is stated in the writings and sermons of Joseph Smith. There is only one God, this is stated in the bible. Mormonism is unbiblical.
Our Christian friends condemn us thinking that we will someday quote create our own planet.” Do they realize that we will not only create a planet, but we will create an entire galaxy! Our heavenly father did not create the entire universe. He and other Godly ancestors each have created a small portion of the universe which is forever expanding. Psalms 82 states YE ARE GODS. think of it like this, here is a parable, an analogy: So there is God, in the realm of the absolute. and he has a super computer, and with it He is able to program a Universe Simulator. He programs in all the parameters and universal constants. Finally he types in RUN THE UNIVERSE and BANG! inside this VR Reality environment, there is a big flash of light, and the "laws of physics" that were programmed in start to take effect, and within a few moments (God's time) or maybe a few hundred thousand years (our time) the light field starts to coalesce into stars and galaxies. and a eventually, after these stars die and give birth to new stars and a few stellar generations have passed... a Planet forms in some non-descript part of an ordinary galaxy, and this God fellow decides to create life forms on this planet. And eventually He comes up with an adequate life form that He calls Humans and decides these will make a pretty good Avatar to inhabit, and learn some lessons, develop attributes like Faith, hope and Charity. so he makes a bunch of VR headsets and tells his kids "come play this game that I made" and as we put on a headset, we get born into this world. we play the game, we live, we love, we sin, a few of us repent, and we die. then we take off the goggles and realize it was all just a game. but it was also a determination of what sort of people we really are on the inside (Like the saying "your character is who you are in the dark, when nobody knows who you are or what you are doing" and what is more "dark" then a veil of forgetfulness) so most of us turn out to be pretty rotten: given the chance all we want to do is get high and have sex. but a few of us turn out to be pretty darn good. we find the clues God left us and follow them to repentance and goodness, and when we take off the goggles. God says "you win. and here is your prize. your own super computer with a universe simulation program. (or maybe we write our own program?) Now the rest of you.... here is a lake of fire and brimstone... just kidding... here are a terrestrial and telestial kingdom where you can live out the lifestyle you have come to know and love.... So, the non-LDS christian wannabees can call us names and aspire to playing harps on clouds or singing in the choirs of God full time if they want... I want the super computer.
