Ever since coming back to church and making attempts to repent as often as possible, I noticed it has become easier to see those who have a dark spirit about them compared to people like David who has light about them and their words. I was listening to Michelle Stone and one of her followers and it was just pure darkness and chaos coming out. President Nelson was right when he said developing a relationship would be needed in the last days or else we would not survive. (something to that effect)

Anyone who attacks any of the prophets of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints- past or present is NOT a “faithful member of the church.” People like Michelle Stone only claim to be members in good standing in order to get innocent listeners to let their guard down. We only have her word for it. The Church doesn’t publish lists of those who have been excommunicated. She is only attacking you because you are making a difference. Don’t quit!

This is true. Criticism of the leaders shows a spirit of division and sin from the heart. They may not do physical things that make them evil but Christ teaches that the inside of a vessel can be filled with death instead of eternal life.

When I listen to Michelle Stone, I feel no glorification of God but rather her words are “darkness into me”. I can judge between your words and her words based on the glory and light they shine on the truths of the gospel. Michelle’s words cast darkness over gospel truths while your words illuminate the blessings of the gospel. Thank you for all you do.
I so much appreciate your defense of the gospel of Jesus Christ and His prophet's, and we who follow. We, as Latter-day Saints, have been attacked from every side for so long that we tune it out (heed them not), but the attacks from within are a newer thing. I believe it's a bit of a surprise to Michelle Stone that she is getting some push-back. We should be more vocal, as you are, in speaking out in kindness and love, yet firm and stedfast, as you have. Attacks from within have been around for the whole time. We just don't study them because the people have gone by the wayside. Attacks from within caused a lot of persecution and even some deaths in the early restoration. Some of those people came back to the church and humbly asked forgiveness, but some didn't. I think it would be truly difficult to forgive someone who's false testimony contributed to a mob to attack on my family. That people DID forgive is inspiring to me.
Keep talking about her. People NEED to have their eyes opened to wolves in sheep’s clothing. It’s terribly when people lose their faith because of individuals like her.

I am disappointed. I really loved your enthusiasm and love of the gospel truths. Then you have come at Michelle Stone with such ugliness. She started out to prove Joseph Smith did practice polygamy because she had grandparents that came from polygamy. My grandmothers father had two wives who were sisters. They went to Old Mexico in order for him not to be jailed because he would not abandon his 2nd wife and children. I am grateful that this grandfather was a kind, loving man who treated his first and second wife with such respect that all their children have given testimony of his greatness as a husband and father to his large family. I grew up not ever wanting to be a wife who would be required to share a husband. I never believed Joseph had any other wives.He said he didn’t.Emma said he didn’t. So, that said, Michelle is showing through very diligent research that Joseph didn’t teach or practice polygamy. I love Jesus Christ and the gospel that Joseph was used to restore it to the earth. Michelle bares her testimony all the time of her love of Christ. Maybe you need to really pull back a bit and not be calling for her excommunication from the church. Has God called you to be a judge? Have you talked personally with Michelle? Have you taken the time to watch her podcasts from the first one to now? If not then how fair or accurate is your knowledge concerning her character or love of the gospel? Please keep proclaiming your love of Christ and having found the Gospel. Take time to really be fair to Michelle Stone by listening to her and feeling of her sweet spirit Before you pass judgement on her as being the cause that anyone would leave the church. Talk to her. She has heard what you are saying. She has expressed she would talk with you. Why not do it? David, I’ve never met an apostate who offered a viable alternative to the Restoration.There are thousands of other churches, but they clearly teach the doctrines of men mixed with scripture. Even the Nicene Creed can easily be refuted by reading all verses of scripture. Yet, having apostatized from Catholicism, they continue to hold this doctrine. Once believers of the Restoration, to join an alternative belief, they try to swallow this teaching. Sad.
She was a neighbor of mine. My wife was her ministering sister. Michelle is a kind and loving person, but has become very misguided. Two things I learned from being her neighbor. 1) My wife is seriously a true gem, as she listened to and ministered to Michelle for many hours at a time on many occasions, but was never swayed by her doubts and rhetoric... 2) even the very elect will be be deceived. As Michelle's channel started gaining traction right around when I moved out of the ward, she had just started coming back to church more frequently (she did not come for a time due to very valid traumatic life events surrouning COVID and 2 extremely painful deaths of her babies). She truly has been through a lot, and although I disagree with her, I do believe she loves the Lord, and simply allowing the traction of her channel to take her further away from truth. She truly does want to influence people for good, but is allowing that desire to be an influencer of others to supercede the truths of early church history. It's very sad for us to see. She taught Gospel Doctrine before COVID when I lived in the ward and she taught it very well without teaching what she's teaching on RU-vid now. Much of her testimony questions became evident beginning with COVID. Even she is capable of turning things around, and I sincerely hope she does. She is not well and has been through many traumatic events. I truly pray for her, her husband, and her children. There is goodness in her, but I'm sad that she's choosing this path. It makes me very sad to see what Michelle is doing. I'm sorry for the trauma that she has been through. I wish she would use her talents to build up the church instead of tearing it down. The one time I listened to her was very disturbing and it made me very worried for those less established in their faith. She works to destroy the faith of our brothers and sisters.

I can relate as a convert to the Church by the witness and power of the Holy Ghost after praying about the message of the Elders (missionaries) 51 yrs ago. Michelle can dump on the church because it’s always been there for her. She’s never had to live without it. She doesn’t know what a blessing she has had being born and raised in the church and surrounded by others who believe the same. She has never had to search for anything, it’s been handed to her.
I think the correct way is for someone in the same Stake to complain to the Stake Presidency. Not believing all the doctrines of the Restoration is one thing but actually *_teaching against_* one's you personally don't like is quite another thing.
@@ClintK. I am not sure who knows what about the background of how M Stone ended up where she now is philosophically or relative to her standing with church. I: have done some very quick checks, of her narrative and it appears that what is visible now actually originated EXACTLY with one or more MISCOMMUNICATIONs with local church leaders, so I think it is safe to say that the applicable leaders are aware. These things are distressing and it is natural to wonder whether leadership is attending to such things. Also, the current 132 concerns are not the first concerns there were, apparently.
This is God's church, and He directs it according to His perfect will. Subsequent prophets of the Restoration teach that that God will never allow His prophet to lead the Restored Church astray. Were they to attempt to do so, they would be removed and another put in their place. We can, therefore, trust the Lord Himself to direct His own work and doctrine. The gospel is ALWAYS under the all powerful God's complete control.
All the prophets have taught that which is necessary for salvation and have retained the keys and authority of the priesthood. In this they have not lead the church astray. They have made mistakes or held erroneous beliefs, but those have been overcome by further revelation. What they have not done is teach that you can have salvation and exaltation without Jesus Christ or receiving the ordinances to come unto him and know him. It has, however, been the case for all the dissenters and brake offs from the restoration that have at one point denounced the keys and authority of the priesthood. They denounce entering in by the way of Jesus Christ through the ordinances of the gospel. They have even denounced the Book of Mormon. The community of Christ which was previously the RLDS church denounced polygamy. Did God make the RLDS church prosper having denounced polygamy? No it fell apart and eventually denounced the Book of Mormon as cannon of scripture. According to Michelle Stone the church will prosper if it denounces polygamy, but if that were true then the RLDS church should have been the one that prospered, but it didn’t. Besides the name of the RLDS church is contrary to the name given by God through revelation to Joseph Smith in Doctrine and Covenants 115. The rest of the scriptures show Gods church has offices and organization. The prophets need not be perfect to not lead us astray. If they have taught us how to get back into the presence of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ then they done their job. They have done that successfully and thus have not lead the church astray.

You are spot on David. Michelle needs to be continually called out to help curb the tide of deception . She is NOT a faithful member. Not only is her family paying a heavy price she destroying the families of others. It's ironic that Michelle, who is so offended by polygamy, is quick to embrace her twin daughters' homosexuality and transgenderism. She claims that while the Book of Mormon condemns polygamy, it says nothing about homosexuality or transgenderism. She condemns the Church for being hypocritical for not allowing for gay temple marriage. Her discussion with her daughters concerning their lgbt journey raised red flags to me. Their story could have easily been my story. They admitted they didn't know what gay was until they were nine. They were initially freaked out about it. They said they always felt different because they couldn't relate to their boy crazy friends. They were tomboys. They went online and listened to LGBT influencers and became convinced that first they were bisexual and then just gay. They went to a counselor who "helped them see" that they were born gay. One daughter, after pursuing a gay relationship, gradually came to realize she was transgender. I fear for them.

David didn't become a Brigham Young lover overnight, it took 47 freaking years wrestling with every kind of Christian church and theology known to man before finally capitulating and honestly seeking the very last one that he had always discounted as impossible to be correct. My mother a widow for 44 years, with 5 kids the youngest being a 6 month baby. My mother no Degree, yet she has out read the 5 BA and 5 Masters and a Ph.D. of her children. Which she paid for. I have learned more from my mother than ALL my paid Professors combined. Yet I am still being taught. As a Latter-day Saint woman myself, this is the biggest reason why women should not hold the priesthood office or Church leadership roles outside of the general auxiliary organizations (Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary).
What? This woman may be drawing away people because she tells a story that people want to hear. It could just as easily be a man doing the same thing. Men, in my experience, are the ones who have done this much more than women. David, Michelle Stone is doing exactly what Alma 13:20 says about "wresting" the scriptures. Taken directly from the institute manual, "The dictionary defines wrest as, 'to twist....to distort; to turn from truth or twist from its natural meaning....; to pervert.' Thus, those who "wrest" the scriptures change or distort the actual meaning to match their own personal opinion or interpretation. Those who manipulate the scriptures to stir up contention are inspired by Satan. The fate of those who wrest the scriptures is their own destruction." See Alma 13:20. You are a breath of fresh air in the on line world. Thank you for your insights and testimony of the restored gospel and your efforts in defending truth. Your love of the gospel as portrayed in this video touched my heart.
Yeah David~ thx for pressing forward! The "right foot of fellowship" is alive and well thru out all humanity. Our opportunity is to retain possession of our own souls and not let the spirit of contention (even in the case of defending the truth) overtake us. This is such a challenge in todays world, to be sure!! I love what you say about ...we can't really delight in the truth without denouncing deception...BUT just as Christ did not defend himself before Herod etc. I think it was because he knew their hearts were not really seeking or able to recognize truth so he "held His peace", as scripture tells us. Christ's example has helped me so much in this regard (& His ENTIRE example, obviously...& He was crucified). Let's pray for Michelle Stone & her followers & so many who's testimonies are being challenged. These are sifting times!. It breaks my heart when any who've known the fully restored gospel truth of Jesus Christ fall into pride, deceiving others. I myself have had to fireproof my testimony as all four of my siblings have left the gospel to become athiests. How do I fireproof my testimony everyday? 1. Wake early to study the scriptures with David Ridges made easier study guides Always reading the Book of Mormon daily. 2. Pray always 3. Read one General Conference talk a day 4. Listen to or watch talks, hymns, nest entertainment, living scriptures documentaries 5. Repent daily and strive to be complete opposite of what the definition of a narcissist. 6. Louise Hay My life is filled with joy even though my trials are still there. I anchor to Christ and IGNORE the naysayers. You are at the last season of your life. Such joy to witness your journey. There's much to learn and it gets better and better all the time! God be with you always.

Astute analysis once again, David. I’m glad I haven’t been exposed to any idea that would cause me to deviate from the covenant path. I have been blessed by this gospel my whole life. The fruits of this beautiful gospel has helped to sustain my faith and I avoid (like a rattlesnake)anything that might cause doubt. Your counsel is wise.
You David, received light, knowledge and understanding about early Church polygamy because you humbly inquired the Lord about it. The answers you received were profound and even received knowledge of things that I as a life long member never considered. Specifically that the Lord's command of temporary polygamy had more than 1 purpose. The one you learned that I never had considered, was that of a trial of faith of the saints, particularly after the death of the prophet. It served as a sifting moment, to sift the wheat from the tares within the Church. And guess what? That test continues into the present day. Members like Michelle are oblivious to this and are following right along with the 19th century apostates that remained in IL/MO and attempted to reorganize the Church. Until such members humble themselves and truly seek of the Lord for the answers regardless of whether it fits their own personal theories or feelings, they will slowly fall away as the early apostates did. Good on you David for bringing this to light for those who are on the fence.

I am a thinker and I dig thru things often with an open mind being willing to see the good and the bad, and not to brag but trust me, I'm a smart dude, way above average, but the reason I trust the prophets is not because I'm lazy or I need someone to lead me in everything so I don't have to think for myself, not even close. She is going to keep targeting you until you stop standing up against her - and even after that for awhile. She is not used to people standing up against her. She has her own cult following and you are rocking her boat. Actually, there is almost always a group of apostates doing stuff like this. A few years ago, there was a group of women insisting that women should get the priesthood. One group insisted we should pray to our Mother in Heaven and that the Church should teach this. David, keep up the good work! The deniers have to twist Jacob 2:27-30 in order to believe that polygamy cannot be and never was commanded by God. They make a claim that the 1828 Webster dictionary provides the correct definitions to interpret the verses properly. People who do not look up the dictionary meanings may believe them if they do not think for themselves. It comes down to the fact that “shall hearken unto these things” is a command given by God. We can tell “shall” is a command according to the dictionary because there is emphasis and the speaker has the authority to enforce the command, otherwise “shall” may be interpreted as a mere prediction. We can tell “shall” is a command in verse 30 not by emphasis in voice (because it was written and not spoken aloud to everyone) but by God’s own written emphasis and His claim to His Godly authority in His own words . “30 For if I will, saith the Lord of Hosts,” has to be the most powerful written claim on authority that can exist in print, but some still choose to believe that “shall” is a mere prediction of what may happen.Since “shall hearken” is a command from God we have to look for the most recent commands in the stanza/chiasmus to find what “ these things” is referring to. They are the two commands from the Lord in verse 27: 1. only have one wife and 2. No concubines. The deniers are trying to say they “these things” refers to whoredoms and abomination from verse 28, but that makes no sense grammatically because whoredoms and abominations are not commands, nor entities that can give commands. The deniers are also reinterpreting verse 30 to mean: “For if I will, saith the Lord of Hosts, raise up seed unto me, MY PEOPLE WILL OBEY MY COMMANDS, otherwise they shall hearken unto whoredoms and abominations.” But that is not what it says or means unless they artfully change the meaning of the words and the use of “shall” to a prediction instead of a command, and ignore that saying “shall hearken unto whoredoms and abominations” makes no grammatical sense. I pointed out this basic grammar to one of these people and they simply said that I am not a grammar expert, and that nobody interpreted it the way I do in the 1800s. I pointed out that 70,000 Saints proved her wrong by crossing the plains, but that it’s better to go straight to God’s word than other people. Nothing I could say could change their mind. Not Levarite marriage, not 2 Samual 12:7-8, not basic grammar of Jacob 2. It reminds me of Mathew 7:22-23. Sometimes we have a hard time seeing what we refuse to see.

Gee, Michelle. I was looking for the Lord's true Church as well from reading the Bible. It didn't take me 47 years to find it, just about five. And no. We like David because he has a good grasp of the scriptures he started with, continually is learning more, and follows the Lord, the Lord's prophets, and the covenants the Lord asks of us. The Lord expects us to follow the Lord's sent ones as we continually learn more. And yes. Those of us who have fully studied polygamy know from the scriptures that it is rarely allowed except if the Lord needs that for His people to raise up seed unto him. It was restored reluctantly by Joseph Smith for a short period and ceased by the Lord in His time frame. I am grateful that we do not have to live that difficult commandment today and am grateful that Abraham, Jacob/Israel, and the early latter-day saints and their wives who made the tremendous sacrifices to live that commandment. You can only come to your conclusion by omitting much of the evidence on the subject. Michelle, you are following after the antichrists out there using their tactics and highly omitting of sources. Time to repent sister and return to the covenant path.
I quite frankly don't know who in the heckintheworld this Stone character is. Having been a born again Christian, anti-Mormon, for several years before joining the Church at age 17, when it comes to all these bitter "anti's" I frankly don't have the time to even lend them one of my brain cells to listen to their rants. Been there, done that, that ship has sailed. I've made my commitment, my covenant, and I will remain true to that. I never, NEVER, go down those rabbit holes. I know that the dog you feed wins the fight. I know that with cleverly constructed words and arguments and the greatest of sophistry, anyone can convince anyone that ANYTHING is true. Or not. And I don't have time for the spirit of contention, for bitterness, for hate, for small heartedness, for big headedness, for judgment - and those who would engage in any of those things damn themselves by their own admission......one gift I have prayed for repeatedly, ad nauseum, and feel as though I"ve been granted to a decent degree, is the gift of discernment. Just remember David that since the creation of man, it has been the tendency of man (and women) to follow darkness rather than light. I am way past the wole polygimy thing. It isnt relevant to the church today, If it is a sin then it is THEIR sin and not ours. We have plenty of sins of our own to worry about the sins of others. I remember something about when pointing the finger at soimeoine, You have 3 pointed back at ya. I think it is a good idea to leave that judgment to GOD.
David, I really enjoy your messages. I learn from your journey and rejoice with you in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As far as Sister Stone goes, I would suggest you move on. She is threatened by you, evidenced by her personal attack on you. I think you have done well to plant a "warning sign" regarding her site. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love all of God's children and will embrace all of them as they humble themselves and seek forgiveness through repentance. I think we should follow Christ's example and show love to her and invite her to follow Him. You have a gift, and a platform. Continue to teach and warn.
I have enjoyed the few videos I viewed that you’ve posted. People that lash out and attack others are hurting (angry?) and do not deserve the recognition or time to respond to their attacks. Remember the man who tried steadying the ark of God, he died! The ark of God or the church is for God only to steady. If there is any faults with the prophets He will put it right, not men or women. She has the right name "Stone" might describe her heart she believes so much she's right nothing you say will sink in, we know what happened to the seed that fell on stoney ground! God has to fulfil every promise He has made with man and woman, women out number men in the church therefore how will God fulfill his promise to them to have a continuation of seed in the eternities without a partner. If plural marriage is the only way God can deal with the imbalance then so be it! The gospel is about love and making sure that everyone has everything they need to reach the highest degree of glory! What it's really about is she is frightened that we might be asked to do it again, and then she might have to share her husband. It's comes from selfishness.
Side note - I actually met someone who knows Michelle Stone personally. From this info. not to put her down, but I believe that - as with others who have left, or in the road to leave - there is often at least one if not more commandments that she/they doesn't/don't want to obey - or they were mislead by someonelike her to see light as darkness and darkness as light. After making this choice, she/they then point a finger from the Great & Spaceous Building at those seeking the Tree of Life and its fruit. Well said David. She needs to be exposed. You are correct about her silver tounge, innocent looking smile, what looks to be a typical “Mormon family”…. But when you dig deeper you see her motives, her LGBTQ children, her fearful husband (of her) and the fruit of what she’s teaching. She is intoxicated with the notoriety.
