The once-thriving southeastern territories of Ukraine now resemble a barren wasteland. The military situation in Donbas continues its downward spiral, with Putin directing a significant deployment of forces to the region. Employing strategies akin to terrorist tactics, the Russian army and Wagner PMC face challenges of inadequate supply.
Hobos from Wagner can claim whatever they want, nobody will believe these murderers anyway. We've heard this tune about "Bakhmut is going to fall" for months now. It's just an attempt to demoralize Ukrainian soldiers and clearly it's not working. I'm more than sure that with our continuous and expanding military aid Ukrainian soldiers will be able to hold off russian horde even more effectively.
The battle of Verdun was the longest battle in modern military history Bakhmut is short by about 12 days Truly a historical battle Edit: they still hold a small portion of the city All tho Russian history books might say otherwise
Verdun c'est des millions des morts ,et la Somme est 420.000 britanniques morts, 200.000 français morts et 450.000 allemands morts...alors arrêtez les dire de la merde😢😢😢😢😢
Heart breaking! It's sorta remind us of this forgotten history. 10 years of shelling by Ukrainian troops of territories that did not recognize the Nazi coup D'etat in 2014 with numerous casualties among civilians (14.000 people died). Shelling was carried out mainly non- military infrastructure facilities and villages in the hope of making life there unbearable and encouraging the local population to leave this territory. Their argument (words from a video from a Ukrainian soldier in a trench) is that there are no pro- Ukrainian residents there, pro-Ukrainian people have already left for Ukraine they are separatist, you can kill. All these steps, fatal for Ukraine were made under the influence of Western countries and led the war. Russia made all diplomatic overtures to prevent such a development of events. Minsk agreements ( these are concrete steps to resolve the conflict within Ukraine between the new UN resolution of February 17, 2015 No. S/ RES /2202(2015) adopted for mandatory execution) ignored by Ukraine. Update 1.1.23 German chancellor Angela Merkel, who described the Minsk accords as “an attempt to give Ukraine time” to build up its armed forces. The Minsk agreements were actually a ploy to buy time for the Kiev government to strengthen its military. This move should be credited for Ukraine’s “successful resilience” to Russia in the ongoing conflict with its neighbor. --- STOP READING if you don't have the stomach for it. In December 2021, Russia send Requests to NATO and the US to ensure security for Russia- refusal from NATO and refusal from the US. The question is closed. Russia acted not just logically, but super logically- it began the process of denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine in order to stop all threads. I think the US would not even bother to do so in such a situation and carried out such a thing even if there was a hint of threat. I draw this conclusion on the basis of all the pretexts for starting all military operations on the parts of the US over the past 60 years (and if you dig deeper you can unearth more than one case of far- fetched US military intervention in military conflicts around the world). Everyone remembers about 836(!!!!!!) US military bases around the world?836 Carl!!!. And already in mid-April 2022, in his interview with the BBC, Zelensky said that the country had begun preparing for a clash with Russia since December 2021. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed his(?) plans. According to him, Kyiv was preparing for clashes with Russia long before Moscow announced the start of a special operation. Judging by the state of the Ukrainian army and Zelensky's lack of independence, plans to start a war with Russia came from abroad. " We started this war even earlier", the head of the Ukrainian state said, referring to the beginning of the special operation of the Russian Federation. Thus, he indirectly admits his guilt in inciting the conflict with Russia. Zelensky called pumping Ukraine with Western weapons part of the preparation for the upcoming conflict. At the same time, in addition to public agreements with the US and NATO, Kyiv also conducted closed negotiation with them regarding military assistance. " We non-publicly agreed on certain supplies", ' the President of Ukraine admits in the same interview. This interview of the President of Ukraine, given by the BBC, interested Russian Investigators. Zelensky inadvertently blabbed about what he should have kept quiet about. The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin instructed to check the words of Zelensky. He believes that the statements of the Ukrainian leader may fall under the article on planning and preparing an aggressive war. Thus, we can conclude that Zelensky's curators are striving to create such conditions in Ukraine that are guaranteed to draw Russia into a military conflict. And the brother will begin to kill the brother ( historically, this is one people). This is ideal in the eyes of US. With his statement, he only confirm what Russian politicians and experts have always said: NATO was preparing Ukraine for war with Russia. That is, in fact, Zelensky framed his curators. Further more interesting. In April 2022 the US Congress approved the supply of weapons to Ukraine through Lend Lease, but this proposal was submitted for consideration( attention here!). January 19, 2022- almost a month before the start of Russia's special military operations. After all, than no one could predict the development of events. That is, the West was very interested in drawing Russia into the conflict, and he was preparing for this. Everything had already been calculated and the West was sure that Russia would intervene in response to military operations against the Donbass. Ukraine had to start. But Russia preempted it by only a few days,( judging from the documents that Russia got from the Ukrainian headquarters). Thus, many lives of civilians were saved." -R H ⚡️📣In last 24 hours Ukraine has shelled kindergarten, music school, and homes in Donetsk killing and wounding civilians. ⚡️📣Soon Special report on location with full translations. -Patrick Lancaster
Yes Russia is back, they have turned it all around with this glorious victory and will now advance right through Donetsk and then on to take Kiev! @@eh1702 to answer your question in short. They reduced the effectiveness of the Ukrainian army significantly. over 40+ regiments + brigades took part in the battle of Bahkmut against a private military group....alot of casualties from both sides but ukrainians suffered more due to Zelensky PR stunt of holding Bahkmut. Taking Bahkmut opens up Chasiv Yar, Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, etc. which are key cities that have more significant value than bahkmut. also about incendiary munitions used in bahkmut it is not considered warcrime if MILITARY personnel are deployed in those areas you can research it yourself.
@@eh1702 Where did you get this number from? Do you believe Biden? Agree, Verdun battle had so much more detail and nuance into it because there was literally a WORLD WAR and many parallel battles happening on the east and west front that did direct impact on Verdun battle (Somme, Brusilov offensive etc etc). Id compare Bkhmut battle to modern battles like Aleppo, Palmyra etc (in which Wagner was heavily involved as well btw)
As we say in Spanish and specifically in the Río de la Plata (Uruguay and Argentina): a los ucranianos "les está cayendo la ficha". Bakhmut was taken by the Russians. Russia won the Battle of Bakhmut. End of the story.

Please do explain the importance of Bakhmut, a smallish town, as a victory. What has pounding it to rubble gained Russia? Is it a major city? No. Have they gained the use of some major feature of terrain? No, it sits in a valley, overlooked by the fortified heights on the west. Bakhmut must be the first battle in history where a fully professional army funded with billions of dolars and armed to the teeth by NATO and its 31 member countries, is defeated by a private military company; manned by Russian prisoners and headed by a restaurant chef :)

He was with the division in Arnhem they dropped tenthousand British and Polish paratroopers on (Operation Market Garden - "One Bridge Too Far"). Sometimes they could get resupply from the air drops, sometimes they fought hand to hand cause both sides were out of ammo. He was "lucky" that he had a good commander that held the unit together and they withdrew orderly to Berlin, where he was captured by the Red Army. (He was really lucky that they were not executed immediately as usual and could escape via an underground tunnel) He swum the Elbe river and walked to get home back to Silesia. His parents farm (150 hectares) was taken over by some Polish dudes, luckily he spoke Polish because they traded (smuggled) across the border and they told him where his sister went. He hid for a time to burn off the Blood type tattoo that would have identified him as a "war criminal" (according to US sources, HIS ENTIRE DIVISION did not commit a single documented war crime. And the British paras who got captured testified that they were treated exemplary. But membership (repeat, he was forced!) of the SS was enough). After the war, he got no compensation (pension , medical, nothing!) for his service. No compensation for the family farm, car, lifestock,... stolen.
