For goodness sake - what is this profuse apology for a swear word compared to the lies and inhuman, barbaric actions taken by "professionals" which are ignored, even decorated up for celebration?
Richie's a brave guy. I'm so glad he has the strength to speak up and share his story. All young people should be made aware of just how much can go wrong.
Those politicians are cowards who refuse to look at the truth head on. The last job they should be in, is running the country. All the best to Ritchie, he is a brave man.
I can't get over this attitude of "I've never seen medical malpractice like this." I was subject to two surgeries as a child, both of which left me more disabled than the disease I suffered. I saw one kid after the next being operated on for no other reason than some doctor wanted to try something out. Kids were routinely used for experimentation. Nothing new is happening here. It was appalling then and it is appalling now. But medical malpractice is as old as the hills.
Medical malpractice and abuse has always existed, sure . But most examples you cite still have SOME basis in a real, evidence-based illness, however badly that illness was mis-handked or exploited. Or, at least the PRETENCE of real, eviddnce-based illness... But the "trans" stuff is the first time an ideology which OPENLY ADMITS IT HAS NO EVIDENCE, that it's treating "just a social construct", is OPENLY doing surgery on 100% heathy people, without even PRETENDING there's some real, physical issue requiring treatment. Of course ALL medical abuse is horrific and unacceptable. But openly persuading 100% healthy children to chemically, and eventually surgically caatrate themselves, without even PRETENDING to have evidence-based justification, is crossing a line that was never crossed before; Definitely not on this global scale, at least.
Something I have noticed about these leaked WPATH documents is that the people involved have appalling spelling. Who would trust a person who can't even spell a simple two syllable word to make recommendations for the medical treatment of their child?
So offended with the medical side of this, Richie and the others are so brave. there is so much we do not understand about mental health and this proves it. It should be so much harder to sterialize ones self.
Ritchie was past 30 at the time of surgery. The gates may well have been opened too wide, and irresponsibly. But that's a different issue when we're talking about mature adults.
😆 if a psychologist/psychiatrist/doctor 'encouraged' anyone to become a Christian, get married, cut themselves, or starve themselves and they came back and said it was a mistake and that they were pushed into it they would be put away! All those things are at least reversible.
