​@@1965Gindyalot of drivers work too many shifts. I drove a dump truck and dump trailers local 282 NY heavy construction . I've actually worked 7 days a week .......even three triples back to back ....10 to 11 shifts a week. If the work is available you grab it. We get $118 an hour

The guy that took the video is a real piece of shit ... you are on a smaller vehicle and they were multiple ways to get the driver's attention but he rather pull to the side and pull your stupid cellphone out ... This world is really messed up .

If he didn't want to pull directly in front of him and slow him down (which would've worked), he could've pulled to the 2 o'clock position, to the truck's right, about 2 car lengths ahead of him, and signaled him. The truck driver would've got the message. There were a million things he could've done.

Ever 5 to 8 seconds he should be glancing down the sides of his truck. I am a truck driver and what happen is the drivers responsibility. You don't think you lower the body of a dump truck you ensure you lower it by constantly checking. Theres a red light inside the cab to indicate that the body is up plus he has about 6 mirrors. I don't blame that video man. He got footage for training purposes. Why put yourself in danger for a careless and reckless driver. Even the white car that was driving in the other lane, that driver is so f..king stupid.

In order to pull something like this off you’d have to NEVER look once in your mirror to notice your bed is up, and yes you’d be able to tell your bed was raising while driving, driver had to be drunk or high (I drove a dump truck bigger than that everyday and couldn’t even imagine how someone would accidentally do this in their right mind)

It's the truckers responsibility to ensure that it's safe to drive the vehicle. And secondly, Americans don't respond to blaring horn signal, because I remember signaling by horn to a guy driving a truck with his tailgate open with a bucket full of tiling tools sliding out the back. Instead of slowing down he speed up tools fell out in the middle of the highway. No common sense.

Ainsley Russell yes, the truck driver failed to do his part, but the person who decided to pull over and setup his camera to film the impending accident could have stopped the truck simply by slowing down in front of it and signaling. He chose to film it instead. I am not sure but I think there may actually be some laws that pertain to this scenario that would put him at fault.

@@wolfie26 the truck driver action proves how irresponsible he is in carrying out proper due diligence before driving that truck. I personally will not go in front of a driver like that and try to make him see his wrong, as far as I see it I could become statistics. That video is great resource for driver training. Gaston, the truck driver has a red light indicator in the cab plus 6 mirrors to show that something is wrong and all those convenience didn't help. If you ask me, he wouldn't see that someone pull in front his rig and trying to slow him down either. I am a truck driver too and that's just carelessness. I vote for the Video.
