@@JustTruckin I agree with Kevin, You sound very respectful and to the point. I imagine sometimes you need to be firm but respectful. I deal with OTR drivers and Daycab Drivers a lot with amazon. Some of them can be rude to me in the guard shack or when I'm in the yard jockey. I'm sorry but I can't make them load your trailer faster, or I'm sorry I don't have an empty trailer. When I work in the Guard Shack, I am always respectful to drivers even if they are condescending or rude. I had a driver tell me "You guys are wasting my f-ing time" because He had to wait for an empty trailer and ended up bobtailing out, I'm sorry But Amazon Relay deals with that not me. I had to hold him up at the gate because I had to go in the system and erase his information for the pickup for it to allow me to check him out. There's no need for that, I understand money is a factor but there is no need to be disrespectful. Drivers such as yourself understand and are respectful. Stay safe out there brother and God Bless!

Rule #1......never piss off shippers or receivers. if you have a hard time just don't go there again. I know a lot of guys banned from shippers/receivers for running their mouth

@@colindavis2166 it's not just money it's time we have hours of service to contend with we have a set amount of time every day 14 hrs 11 hrs to drive a 3 on duty. One day a week we have a 16 he day if we need it. So that is a major reason why many drivers get testy when we are being held up without an explanation. Our time is very regulated and many folks in the shipping and receiving end of this business either don't understand this or seem to forget about it.

They don’t share the info about the delivery because they Don’t want the shipper and receiver to have direct contact or the middle man will lose their job. The customer will just go around the broker and talk directly to the shipper, so they get creative with the info.

Justin not a steroid inhaler. Albuterol is an adrenergic inhaler. Stimulates bronchial airways to open up like adrenaline stimulates the body to open up for quick response. Then dies down fast too. Great 😊 job with your boys.

pred is the steroid, doxycycline was the antibiotic, albuterol relax and open the air passages to the lungs to make breathing easier. Was a chemistry major before a carpenter and then a truck driver.

FYI post nasal drip can easily turn into pneumonia especially when you're going from cold to warm climates and back again.. so get rid of that post nasal drip asap to all in earshot. AND get enough rest...YES that four letter word: R E S T.🍃

@@mtyhntr49 best thing for that,,,take some iodin and a little salt..and i used a water bottle..tilt your head shoot it up one nostril and out the otherside..your cured in 4 days..also put iodine with distilled water in a humidifier...so you breath the freshest air at night and it is killing any bacteria in your respiratory system while yo are sleeping///this works fantastic!!!

Justin also hydrate and rest a lot this weekend. Lots of warm showers and increase vit C ! Could get worse before you improve. They said you’re oxygen saturation was low. I’m a respiratory therapist. Get in bed and rest💤

@@JustTruckin i have breathed iodine vapours in ..from my humidifier...mixed iodine with water..also breathed iodine vapours straight for a lung infection i had..but breathing straight iodine you need to be carful..humidifier doe sthe same thing but takes longer..iodine kills everything,.you can also buy iodine at heath food store..mix 5 drops in water and drink it...it really works fast..sore throat...bacterial infections gone in a few days...look into it for future use....noticed this was a post from a month ago lol...keep it in mind for future use,

@@bradcoddington1679 of course im paying for it through my taxes. Same as paying for public road use whether i have a car or not. Nothing is free. NO system is perfect, but there are some red flags that should be addressed. For example: A drug company shouldn't sell insulin for 320$ in the states , and then that same company crosses the border, changes the name of that same insulin and sells it for 35$. Something is wrong in this picture . And i know this because, i bought it for a working widowed mother of three in MN .

This is the first time I've viewed your channel and I have to say...great job. Seriously. I appreciate you just telling it like it is. And that wasn't aggressive. To my way of thinking you were completely and totally respectful. Jefferson, Georgia, one of my old haunts. I used to work in a Caterpillar factory just south of the Kubota plant and I lived about 5 miles east of beautiful downtown Carnesville, Georgia where the James Short Kubota dealer is located. If you blink your eyes, you'll miss Carnesville. When I lived there it only had one traffic light in town. The Caterpillar factory used to be right beside I-85 and just across the street from Mission Foods but it's gone now. We made the fuel injectors for Ford Power Stroke Diesel engines. Caterpillar moved the factory to Thomasville, Georgia. I haven't been back in that area in 15 years. Love your channel. I drove the big trucks myself for a short period but I found out I just wasn't cut out for the life. Be safe out there! All the best to you and yours.

I work for GM and one of the warehouses we have the same thing. It’s drivers who overstepped or threatened arrow office workers. We’ve actually had a driver get physical with our clerk. There are eight of us in the warehouse and we all been together for 15 years or more. That poor bastard went to jail bloody.

Good idea to get a couple pulse oximeters, 1 for home and 1 for your truck, so you can check oxygen saturation when any of you aren't feeling well. Anything at 91 or less is a reason for concern. Hope you feel better soon!

Man no kidding, when I had my vasectomy I was a dead man walking. Literally... no way. I work EMS lol no way could I climb into an ambulance let alone a semi.... I had $20 in frozen vegetables on rotation for my groin.... I had some blockage and swelling and got to the size of a tennis ball and I told the doctor just kill me and he couldn’t stop laughing. I wanted to execute the man lol

Sorry for replying on old videos. 3:45 Good ol' SEFL, receive from those guys almost every day! My usual driver's name is Steve, he was one of the first kats I offloaded nearly 15 years ago. Nearly 15 years of shipping and receiving and your videos are really helping shed light on life on the other side of the trailer, as it were. I have my bad days like anyone and i let it get the best of me some of those time but just gotta remember we're on the same team just opposite ends of the trailer.

Take care of yourself brother. They call it walking pneumonia but we call it worker's Pneumonia. When you hustle and keep pushing gettin it done then you over stress your lungs and immune system, you wake up one day face draining fluid. Especially when you get it in the summer, it's definitely that. I had it a couple times

Justin see if you have a deviated septum in your nose. A lot of people do. It's a simple surgery to fix and it'll clear up your nasal passages for the rest of your life. Pneumonia can be contagious when you first get it. The first week that you had it, you might have been contagious. Some strains are.

Good morning JustTruckin Fam, pneumonia is not nothing to play with it what my cousin just passed away from, so take your meds and get plenty of rest and it is contagious so keep switching out your mask.i just got 3 prescriptions for the same thing. So T's&P's to you and your family and be careful out there on the road when taking your medication's because they do make you drowsy

Go slow man. I had same thing you had at almost the same age. Did not rest as much as I should have and kept working etc. - it came back worse and had to be hospitalized so, take it seriously now, take a few days off and rest. I will also say a prayer for you and your awesome family.

Another Great Video appreciate that you always share a Wealth of Knowledge. Have aways been a Company Driver over the last 22 years and have no owner opp experience. It seems to me that things have gotten to the point where you're almost better off bypassing the Broker if you can and just dealing directly with the customer.

Yeah that's the one big problem with trucking, warehouse workers don't know or care about your schedule, which is understandable and that's why you just have to keep it to the people who do know and are responsible for getting things done!

Typically do not like giving out phone numbers as to not annoy/frustrate anyone or the customer. Far too often folks will call these places and try to change appointments without notifying anyone and causes mayhem and confusion. Or they’ll call a hundred times over and over begging to wait for them if running late etc… So typically the numbers are not given out due to the few who cause issues. Just figured I’d chime in to help explain why from the other side of things. Have a wonderful day!

Also get yourself a fingertip O2 monitor. You can get them pretty cheap on Amazon. I have one of them and a Stethoscope in my first aid / trauma bag. Chest pain / difficulties breathing they are the first two things I grab. 14 years in security I've amassed quite the kit 😁

Love seeing our stomping grounds up I-85. Graduated from Stephens County High School in Toccoa. My mother in law lives in Carnesville on the other side of that exit. It’s a small world. You should try the Echo restaurant at that exit if you like southern cooking.

Excellent Justin!!! You are making that much money with dry van , and let me tell you there are people hauling reefer products that don’t make that much , not even close!!! I hauled reefer and I know it is possibly and I know we can make more than that also . I just got a load, Wednesday evening from salt lake to tolleson Arizona for 2100 next day delivery (700miles) Im going back to salt lake from Nogales with 4,600 delivery tomorrow Sunday 6 am . That is only 1600 loaded miles + 180 miles empty. And I know that you will find negative people saying that “is impossible “ just because they don’t know how to work smart doesn’t mean other people can and know how to do it, right ? I really admire that you make the time to explain people how you do it bro . You are awesome!!!!!!! Keep it bro .
