Very nostalgic Eddie. It’s sad to think about the players who are no longer with us. Eddie still has fire in his eyes. Such a charismatic man. It was a team full of skill, grit and character.

Eddie - What a total legend! You see the recollection, passion and joy in his eyes like it happened yesterday! Tinged with some sadness over the departed fellow legends. MOT forever!

I had the pleasure of watching this man play. My favourite football memory was watching Eddie, towards the end of his playing days, he'd lost his speed but picked up the ball just outside of our box and proceeded to walk/jog all the way up the wing. As each player came to challenge he just used is footwork to leave them behind, and finished with a nice cross in to their box. Magic! Thanks for making a young boy (as I was then) understand what people meant by the beautiful game.

I see this man jog miles every other day around the Wetherby area, it’s why he’s so fit and still looking good! Legend .

Great memories of a very happy day. It doesn't feel like 50 years ago to me. Hope we don't have to wait another 50 years before we win it again!

I had a little spate of sending pictures out of my Shoot annuals to players for their autograph in the late 70s and Eddie was the last one of em. Meant a lot to a kid back then. And here he is now aging like Clint Eastwood.

Most modern players,to their shame, would go down to claim a pen under the challenge made on Mick just before he crossed for Sniffer. Better game in better days

Far better game back in those days. Players were allowed to drink, smoke and party and yet they were far better players who were loyal to their clubs and supporters.

I would personally want Raphinha to leave for atleast £100m and a £400k per week salary. Any sum lower than this is an absolute bargain. People outside of Leeds United , don't understand how big of a player he is and how massive his influence actually is. He is by far the best, biggest and most talented player to have ever played for Leeds and even in Yorkshire (think of how big and instrumental Diego was for Napoli's UEFA Cup and Serie A wins).
