This reminds me of the episode from the original UK version when Marjory gets them to play "High Fat or Low Fat?" and she does the "Dust? Anybody? No? Dust. Anybody? No? DUST! Anybody? No? DUST! Anybody? No? DUST! Anybody? No? DUST!...Dust is very low in fat, you can have as much dust as you like"
@@lunareacts2709 It's a little hard to explain... It's typically a long, thin cake, like a swiss roll (although not rolled like one), except it's a cuboid with square ends... It's maybe vanilla sponge in quarters (four long pieces, 2 white and 2 pink), arranged in a 2 by 2 chequered pattern... There is maybe a very thin covering of apricot jam (barely noticeable) around each part and Marzipan is wrapped around the outside... If I remember correctly... It seems to be of British origin, despite the German sounding name... I'm not sure if they exist elsewhere, but I expect you can find a recipe online if you feel like baking... Maybe they exist there under a different name, like Domino Cake, Church Window Cake, Neapolitan Roll or something else...
Great video upload and some funny reactions from yourself there. Little Britain would not be aired within America due to the series being deemed as being 'politically incorrect' and so many taking offence to it. Within the UK people do see the funny side and don't personalise things like people do within the States. The series continues to be aired (repeats) within the UK and we do continue to enjoy watching them.
Angel cake is one of my faves too... Especially if you want something a bit more on the plain and light side... Sometimes I may lean more towards swiss roll though... Maybe a Victoria sponge... But I do love a good Chocolate cake... Maybe a White Chocolate and raspberry one or something...
You really need to watch the English Fat Fighters first before little Britain USA. Also from the first and in order. Otherwise the jokes might not have same impact or appreciation for the characters . Plus the USA ones aren’t as good. I think if you watch the original ones first then the jokes in this would make more sense and be more humorous. Little Britain was the first series, 3 of them and then they did little Britain USA, which was the favourite little Britain character’s visiting USA. I recommend watching from very first series. Just my opinion. ❤️
No worries, I’ve actually watched the entire UK series so I get it. Not out of context for me but I get you, I hope you enjoyed it and laughed a little with me. Happy holidays to you and your family 💕
Pls remember the whole skit is based on irony cuz everything Marjory does she contradicts herself by simply being her. One main example is Marjory herself is fat
Congrats to him! Losing weight can be very hard, I’m trying to shed 20 lbs but my thyroid is getting in the way. I’m taking meds for it but I’m still struggling…
@@lunareacts2709 I can sympathise with you there. I have been taking the tablets since I was a child for an overactive thyroid gland. I am in my mid 50's now.
She's nasty, but she's a complete sham. We do like cruel humour in the UK, as long as it's not meant. In this case, the joke is recognised as being on her and not her victims.
