Partial fun Q&A with the stars of Grease following the movie Grease with added graphics to add the words to sing along. Also props (bubbles, checkered flag, comb, red & white pom Pom ) handed out to the audience for participation.
Mike: You're not "The" Mike Tyson are you? If you are ...man: What did you think of the Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini fight with Duk Koo Kim back in 1982? I You Tubed that fight man ...I cannot believe how many punch were thrown in that fight by both boxers! -- and that Kim lost his life man... It was war man. It was like watching Hagler and Hearns fights except it lasted for 12 more rounds man! Thomas "The Motor City Hitman" Hearns is one of the best boxers of all time man....But Marvelous Marvin Hagler had his number though man....You remind me of Hagler Mike ! Always walking forward towards your opponent...no dancing around man ! Hagler was a rumbler like you were Mike -- You two are awesome Iron Mike....World class hall of famers forever man !
@@albundy4163 When you 've got the money you can get it. Look around..but hair pieces are not worth the trouble..lots of maintenance, money, stress. When you re a star you can get a new one every week.
his hair has nothing to do with it. The reason he looks older in Pulp Fiction is because of the weight. Weight makes you look so much older. He looks great here.
I have to say John Travolta has been a tremendous and beautiful friend to Olivia ever since they met. It was he who wanted her for GREASE and convinced her to do it, and ever since then he has been one of her greatest friends. You couldn't want more in a friend than John Travolta has been to Livvie.
I have to agree with you. I was disheartened to hear about the loss of Olivia Newton John. She was an extremely talented singer. What is your favorite Grease song?
@@stevegordon8474 I have to agree that they sing well together. But I prefer the song Hopelessly Devoted To You. What is your favorite scene in Grease?
@@speedlearner I haven't really got a favourite scene but yes, I must agree with you, Olivia sings Hopelessly Devoted To You so well. It's so great, she puts her whole heart into that one.
@@stevegordon8474 I'm glad that we agree that the song Hopelessly Devoted To You was one of Olivia's best songs. I recently reviewed the movie Grease. Would you like to see my review?
When the girl who just survived breast cancer got a "You're gonna be OK" with ONJ holding her hand I lost it! What an inspiration Olivia is, and I agree she looks beautiful. Me = devoted fan of 45 years💖
Same! And now knowing that at this time her cancer had come back and spread and knowing how much pain she must have been in…she was such an utterly, utterly amazing woman and sweet human. She will be missed eternally.
I've watched a TON of videos and read a bunch of tweets about Olivia since August 8th (That's what brought me here 2 and a half years later).......she was my first celebrity crush, in the early '70s (along with Karen Carpenter, to a degree)....and I've not only shed tears, I've found myself "crushing" all over again! That was definitely a tear-jerking moment in this with that lady.
They are both so incredible. Brings me to tears. The kindness and talent unrivaled. To think Kelly Preston too was battling her own breast cancer and John being so positive and upbeat. Tugs at my heart strings. Olivia....prayers to you for complete recovery ❤️🙏🏻May God bless them both. Much love
I like how the fans are polite and they're not overly going crazy, they're just star struck but respectful at the same time. I love how travolta and Olivia are very humble, no eagles at all.
Okay but I was randomly just listening to the theme songs and went to RU-vid to watch the music videos and saw this was just uploaded and my heart dropped in shock this is crazy
What's crazier is 2 days I watched Grease on Netflix and see a feed on youtube the next day on this event! And see the full interview today. So BAZAAR😬
Who would have ever imagined that we'd be treated to this more than 41 years after the movie. The two of them look better here than they have in years. Appreciate this moment.
@@johntravolta927 It’s indeed my pleasure! Both yourself and Olivia are legends and you’ll be pleased to know that this generation is mesmerized with Grease. I co-directed Grease at a High School Production and my daughter was cast as one of the Pink Ladies. Marty! All of the students in the cast were phenomenal and it was great how they immersed themselves into the characters. Both yourself and Olivia would have been proud! Your music is still infectious till this very day! Your music will live on for a lifetime for generations to come! Thank you for giving the world this memorable and wonderful gift of music and memories! 💕
I've always had a crush on Olivia Newton John. And I think it's great that John Travolta pursued his passion (flying) to the point where he is qualified to be an airline pilot. They both look really great.
@@johntravolta927 omg like fr fr? You actually replied back to me? Omg! My mind blown. Big fan for years saturday night fever and all. I got welcome back kotter series in my library. I loved the show..omg! Im soooo stoked right now. I raised my kids on Grease and they love the movie too. Omg! Thank you for responding. I appreciate that. Made my day. Lol
I am a huge fan of them both..I loved Olivia from her first albums before grease..I also fell in love with John in welcome back and from them on these two are a item for sure the best chemistry ever! I miss u ONJ rip my dear friend
Grease is a class act.🏅 Terrific cast & terrific story. I went to see it with my darling dad❤️💛❤️💛❤️& loved it. A wonderful happy film.....& now missing every day my dearest dad❤️ who was as cool as John Travolta. Olivia played her part of Sandy to perfection.🌺
Me and my BBF was there and was awesome . We were just early teenagers when we saw Grease and wow awesome to meet them and see this . Sad we lost our lovely Olivia she will never b forgotten. She was amazing and beautiful person.😢❤️🙏to her family. I never get tired of this movie . I lost track how many times I have see. It
Wow, both of them still look so good and they are just so down to earth. ONJ is inspirational. She is still so lively and cheerful despite being stricken with cancer.
Just love them... I was 12 when the movie came out and my best friend and I walked to the theater almost every night and saw it for a month. We used up every allowance and all our babysitting money to get tickets but it was so worth it! Those were some of the best times!!
I am glad that these two actors kept up their characters after all these years to make people happy. Some actors just don't want to re-live their iconic character and "it's just a crying shame. Their lips are lying only real is real. We stop the fight right now, we got to be what we feel, Grease is the word...!"
Me and my husband have watched Grease almost Every Single time it has come on T.V. We love love You! You have brought all of us in this world back to a Great time in history, where we all had the best time of our life’s. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️
❤ Two years ago I saw this video and John Travolta himself responded to some comments I made to him saying that we love him in the Dominican Republic, but the furthest thing I had was that he was reading it. Ah my surprise and joy at the same time to see his humility when addressing me as a fan. From 2021 to now 2023 are 2 years ago. Thank you John Travolta, God bless you and keep it up. Atte Carmen Paulino.
My kids, all in their mid to upper 20s, loved this movie and music. I was 16/17 when this movie came out and Olivia was something else. Absolutely beautiful, and discussed often, lol. She looks great today, as does John, 40 years later. It’s really nice to see people from all walks of life, countries, backgrounds, and generations, come together in such a positive environment, United by just this one, extraordinary, film. I say thank you to the entire cast and those behind the scenes to make this movie that entertained my kids and gave us family moments over the years.
NJA3, very gracious of you to also thank those "behind the scenes" as well as the stars if the film. A film is such a collaborative enterprise that requires legions of people to create the iconic images that change and enrich our lives. Good for you for recognizing the "invisible" stars.
You two individuals really blessed my childhood this was a classic movie I watched over million times still remember the songs to this day since an incredible movie great story great people glad to be alive to see witness something like this
Both of you guys are sooo humble... I can only imagine what is must be like to hold on that humbleness with the great success you have had must be difficult...ONJ we LOVE YOU SOOOOO much (from Australia) .. reaching out to that lady who has experienced breast cancer like you did...and John showing so much support - we just love you...
Both of them are genuinely so humble and I have only heard amazing things about Olivia from fans. That girl that Olivia said she loved and she was a star is such a tearjerking moment. Especially now losing her is losing so much. Love to ONJ and all her family.
i saw all the ads on instagram for this and i cried last night because i didn't even know this was going to happen until after i watched Grease lol id kill to see both of them in the same room
I have been a huge Olivia fan since I was 9 years old. Olivia helped shaped my childhood. After the movie GREASE I began singing in school. Not just in the school chorus but I began singing solos. I was told repeatedly that I sounded like Olivia. My proudest moment was in 8th grade when I sang "Have you ever been mellow" in our schools talent show. I turned 50 this year on September 26th. Imagine my pleasure as a 9 year old girl finding out that I shared the same birthday as my idol! 🌹🎶🌹
Such a nice people :) I mean really. This movie is a great example of positive attitude, dance, music and lots of fun. That's why it will great forever :)
Grease is the most iconic movie of all time followed by Dirty Dancing. I said it with regard to Dirty Dancing and I can say exactly the same thing with regard to Grease - Both actors were PERFECT for the part. Both of them had a certain vulnerable quality to them, which is exactly what the two characters in the movie required. This is one of those movies where it all magically came together - perfect script, perfect actors for the part and perfect magical music.
Know Hope: You're easily spot-on with your assessment ! It's sort of like having Tom Cruise as the lead actor in Top Gun and Jack Nicholson the lead actor in the "Shining"......Only certain actors/actresses can get away with this... Dustin Hoffman in the "Rain Man" etc. You can move on to musical groups with this concept:....I don't tthink any music group can do a movie like "Mama Mia" except for ABBA....
@@montevenier9231 True. That is why when making a movie, the studios audition thousands of people to find the exact person to fit the character, since the lead actors can make or break a movie.
I was 8 when I first saw this movie when it premiered in the theater. My granddaughter is infatuated with it. I bought her the Blu-ray and we watch it together all the time. She knows every song from it.
Who has not ever danced and sung Grease's songs? We all end up bewitched by the movie and the soundtrack from the first moment, some of us have known first hand the phenomenon Travolta & Olivia. With five years I won a dance contest imitating John Travolta of this legendary musical, I could not watch the movie until I was about 13 years old and I remember perfectly that it was at the dawn of a year-end around 4:00 am in the tv and be more spellbound than was. With 22 years the people of the street who didn't know me at all! They called me Travolta because of what I looked like :) ... It has been 41 years of this movie and it is still my favorite of this genre that is the musical.
I have tears falling for them both right now. Olivia, I pray I see you on the other side and can sing with you...John, you are such a complete gentleman. I played Sandy in a stage production, and Marty in another.. much love...
Livvy just cannot look anything but flawlessly beautiful, no matter what her circumstances. The world loves you immeasurably, Olivia. We are behind you 100%, with all our hearts. You are an absolute force of nature! A Goddess. Cancer is powerless by comparison with your positivity and resilience!! My heroine. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Awesome my eyes may not be what they were but all I see and hear are a young couple of incredible stars shining as bright as they always have. Take care everyone 😉🎄
