I’ve been playing poker since 97 in SF. Online in 2002. Jungle was known to me in like 2006. Regardless of my fandom, people should know scams big or small always involve “I used to be awesome in the stock market and I figured it out, let me teach you.” Ya dude scams ALWAYS use this line. Everything seems logical and ohh ya totally dude. In a game where you can’t nail down what’s what, then of course “coaching poker” is a scam one could accomplish hahaha. Suckers.

No human that killed it in the stock market or poker will waste their time building a RU-vid channel to give you the secrets to success lol. It’s called a scammer. Using an accent and seeming reasonable isn’t a pass. Scam.

There is no “system” to be a winning poker player, only scams to make you think their are. Don’t be dumb, no poker system exists for you, a fool, to be a winning player.

I discovered Jungle Man's channel just the other day with Phil Galfond on and literally was thinking about how cool it'd be to have Jungle and Pete together. Those mind readers. No wonder they're so good at poker.

Jungleman vs Carrot man. The ultimate battle. That first advise of Peet is of course extremely important, but when I "forget" i fall back to snap calling/folding. So hard to keep it in the system. Probably needs 1000 of repations undear stress conditions to get ii really in the unconcious behaviour. Luckily Poker (and live) gives us enough of those changes.

i've also noticed that even if you are playing well, taking very fast actions can change the way your opponent plays too, making them call more bluffs - might just be projecting here though 😅

Since May last year, I've been building around 40 bankrolls ranging from $500-$700 playing micro stakes starting from as little as 0 to 1-10 dollars... I always withdraw some $ to buy beer and weed... but I always bust my br whenever I reach that amount in a huge downswing... that usually ends with me playing 25 buyin game fastforward. It's so disgusting and disappointing, but after going broke I've always managed to get back to the games. Until this month... after over 1 year I'm finally totally bankrupt... I'm negative $300 in my bank account and I have only $50 in my poker account... I started 1 month ago with 10 dollars and made 700, then I lost 690 in 2 days playing PLO 25 fastforward!! It happened over 30 times already so I guess it's nothing new... but this time it's all over... I barely "survived" this game for over 1 year and now it's time to say goodbye, no more chips from me, donkeys!! I officially give up!!!

hey mate, just reading through your e-book and thought you might like to read The Ellipsis Manual by Chase Hughes (of The Behavior Panel), he also has The 6 Minute Xray which is good too, but less in-depth. It was the "every player wears a mask" line that made me think of it, and now I think of it, I think it's a concept from The 6 Minute Xray rather than Ellipsis, but either way, you'd probably find them fascinating, reads... the human brain has been "clocked" it seems. Would love to see you play when you get to Melbourne if possible

Poker moves interpret life, and certain cards your dealt really make life easy or not. Poker is the definition of replying this would considered a check raise for example. And not to mention tilt= life BS. A flush means love...but how high is your flush? Quads is a great job score, and a pair just means your normal.

I think teaching poker is OK, though it sort of violates the rule of not tapping on the fish tank. I hope he charges plenty, even after 20% off, so that it doesn't violate the rule of no free lessons. Having said that, I've helped and mentored a few deserving players along the way, in part to pass on the good deeds of those who, voluntarily or by accident, served as role models during my own process of establishing myself as a solidly winning player. Every game, sport, and industry uses names and lingo to describe things, when they could instead just be described by some numbers on this axis or that spectrum, etc. For instance, in baseball a bunt and a 450 foot home run can be fairly accurately described just by the ball's departure velocity vector (speed and direction) from the bat, without calling one a bunt and one a blast. Yet, the names classify how the two things are quite different, without you having to even understand a velocity vector. If this guy helps a player by suggesting he make a Gluttonous Slob bet in a certain situation, I'm fine with that, just like suggesting to bunt with nobody out and men on first and second. As for Jungle, he never was on my list of favorite players, but the more of his videos that I watch, the more I respect his thought processes and his play/persona. Apparently there are good reasons that he thrives at a high level.

@@EfficientRVer I don't love or hate the game. It's a tool for producing money. I don't love or hate any game - that's a strange concept for me to even comprehend. I love my dog, my mom, my wife, etc... I hate pain and suffering. How does someone love or hate a game?

You might want to google "greek words for love". There are different concepts of love. Is there something like a hobby you are deeply passionate about and know its intricacies? Fishing, repairing something, anything else?
