“Liverpool SHOULD sell Luis Diaz to sign Eberechi Eze!” 

People get caught up in what I call the flair trap. They see a player do dribbles and fakes and automatically think Neymar. Diaz to me needs to learn when to release the ball, too many times he loses possession just for the sake of being flairy and the fans eat it up. He needs to focus on doing the correct thing when needed, there are times for the dribbling and there are times where you pass the ball.

I don't think it's necessary to make any drastic sales this summer. Give them a season under the new boss and see if he can get the best out of them. We can still make additions to the squad with a few spots having opened up through contracts finishing and some fringe player sales. Eze is fantastic, however, and if given the opportunity to sign him, I would bite Palaces hand-off. If that meant losing Luis Diaz, I could accept that.

Luiz diaz 27 years old plays for Liverpool who produce the most chances and his productivity is still not good enough,he hardly a world beater so e people are acting like he ks vinicius jr for Madrid. Diaz is a great outlet, gets us up the pitch, and is consistently the best forward player. If he really wants to go, fine. But we want good money for him - and finding someone better will not be easy.

Sure, sell Diaz, the more consistent player from the front line this season. I'm not saying the best, but he is a 7-8 out of 10 player with occasional excellent games. That has a great quality that's lacking in several players: availability and willingness to give everything on the field. Jota is amazing, but can't remember the last time he could play five weeks on the run without an injury. Gakpo most of the time seems unbothered with the defensive side of the game (I must admit the last couple of games were different in this regard).

The big question regarding all the transfer speculation on players is can slot improve certain players and get a tune out of Diaz, Nunez etc.

I really like Diaz, but i think Eze is unbelievable... So its difficult. I would like both Eze and Olise for £120m would be a great transfer window. Probably another cb and a dm, although Endo, Bajetic and Morton might be enough.

Agree w the statement... bcz I think we can get a more productive LW. I like the versatility of Eze quite a bit & I think his ceiling is still there as he gets to play in a better squad. Notwithstanding the horrible situation w his parents, for me, Diaz didn't pass the test in that stretch Salah wasn't available. He was brought here to CARRY that left-side of the attack. A bit like our old front3 used to do when 1 or 2 of the others wasn't firing. Diaz was pretty industrious (sometimes aimlessly) but didn't deliver winning goals or creative plays that decided games!! That is all the info I need to make a decision on his status.
