I desire to be married to a Godly man who is a leader in the home, who will wash me with water in the Word and will lead the family unit in Christ. But it had not happened for me. Yet I have been brought to the reality that aside from my desires I need Christ first, and I am willing to deny myself this desire, for Christ and to live as a Christian Woman.
To begin to fulfill the teaching of the Christ we must come to the realization that there has never been a Physical/Mortal Jesus, or a Physical/Mortal Anything.... What is Christ?? Christ is the Conscious Realization that God is Spirit, and Spirit is the Only Presence(not a religious practice), and becomes our Individual Consciousness when Consciousness has been released from it's fear, hate, or love of Mortality/Matter(Error). The Realization of Christ Within is the Dissolving of the Material Illusion. We have nothing to offer this world except our Spiritual Integrity, and this Integrity is our ability to recognize the nothingness of the material/mortal world. The degree to which we can look at the shadow of the material world of death/mortality that is not of Spirit/God and not be disturbed by it is the Path of the Realized Christ. We must live, move, and have our being in this Realization, and in turn walk in the Perfect Kingdom of Heaven/Spirit right here, right now, despite mortal appearances. God is Infinite, Perfect Spirit, and Spirit is the Only Presence!! If I speak of myself(or any material form) I bear witness to a lie....!! Therefore, Judge ye no man after the flesh....!! Form is not there, only an Inner False Image caused by the Ignorance of our Truth of Being(World Mind Delusion) is there, tempting us to believe mortality, death, illness, disease, separation, race, racism, heterosexuality, homosexuality, gender, trauma, pain, hate, good, evil, duality, and any appearance of the finite world is where Only the Presence of God/Spirit is. Spirit can Not Create that which can die! We have bound Our Consciousness to the: D.O.M.E. Dream of Mortal Existence....(Ignorance of Truth of Being) The DOME/DREAM is the VEIL.....!!!
I know a lot of men looking for THAT woman. We have a hard time finding one looking for a leader. Not one who SAYS they want a leader but spends all their time attempting to defy or place roadblocks in front of.
A Godly man is lead by the spirit. Even if he likes and plays video games, he does it by the spirit. godly Men and women can do things they like and still be godly as far as the Word is not violated.

I think the first thing they should ask is am I a biblical woman? Am I ready if you assume this person is then I would answer the questions most women want a Godly man but they refuse to be a Godly woman first. Then when she is that then ask the question if she isn't ready how would she find such a man? Ruth was Godly first then she found a man. That would be more biblically sound than jumping to the men. Men most times do what they have to naturally!
No, 1000 times no. Men are created by God to lead, provide, and protect. It is not the woman’s job to be right first. It is the man’s. That is what “lead” means. Our responsibility to be men is not dependent on women. As a matter of a fact, statistics show that the abnegation of our responsibilities are directly responsible for almost every social collapse in America.

Voddie Baucham reacts to this question exactly the way any *feminist* would - by laying all responsibility and blame on men and failing to hold women accountable to any degree. Maybe, the woman should just accept that men enjoy video games in the same way that women enjoy Instagram? The net result of Baucham's feminism is that the woman is not helped, and is maybe even worse off. Now she's set her standards even higher. Now she thinks she deserves even better without modifying herself at all. Men are worse off, too. Believe it or not, we need our women! Especially in a world that pushes individualism to such a degree, a world that doesn't value family or friendship, a world where the average person has between 0 and 3 close friends. Men can't become priest, prophet, provider, protector if they are facing all the hardship of life alone, with no helpful relationships. Perhaps it is foolish to seek this kind of help in a sexual relationship (by which I mean a Biblical sexual relationship that waits for marriage). But you can't blame the men who try. Very often they feel like it's the only hope they have of any kind of emotional intimacy. So ultimately, the real answer is that the church needs to be the church. We need to be there for each other more, much more. We ought to strengthen each other's weakness, bear each other's burdens, and build each other up. There's too much standing against us. We can't afford to build these walls. If all the Christian women are looking for a perfect man, the men will just find women who are willing to date them - worldly women with lower standards. The women will all end up doing the same thing when they become discouraged with the men. Christians have no better option than Tinder because the church has failed to help them. And we know the problems in society start in the family. The church lives or dies by the godliness of its families - its fathers and mothers, who portray the image of God to their children. The church isn't interested in creating families. So it's decaying, society is decaying, and worldliness is on the rise. If you wanted to help this woman, you should have told her to start by being a part of her church- a listening ear, some kind of volunteering or service, joining a Bible-study. If she's already doing that, do it more. Commit more to loving others. She'll find, if she really does that, that she knows the men in her congregation much better. The "boyishness" she sees in their video game habits may well be the consequence of growing up in a society where men get no attention, no affection, and no meaningful work. In other words, it's the consequence of fatherlessness. It's the consequence of isolation. How can a man be a leader if there's no one for him to lead? But every one of us craves the opportunity. We can't pull ourselves up by the bootstraps. We just need one person. Men are lacking because we don't even have that one person. Christians, male and female, need to be there for each other before we can have the basic mental maturity needed for relationships. How can an empty cup give water? But things won't change if we continue to demand more and more without filling each other up. The very sad state of affairs is that I know so much of this is true for the women in our midst, too. This is a responsibility all of us bear to each other.
Joseph, you have a lot of interesting and good ideas here. At the beginning of your comment, though, you sound a little bit frustrated. I can understand that. It is very difficult to navigate the world of Christian dating. Finding a person to even try dating can be a mountain of an obstacles in the Christian world. Now I think you are on the right track when you say that both men and women have a role to play within a Christian marriage and as members of the body of Christ. I don't believe that what Voddie is saying here is meant to discount the role a women has to also pursue maturity, responsibility, and spirituality. The best marriages are made up of a mature man and women. I think it's worthwhile pursuing the best marriage and not an average one. But this takes work and the only person that we are ultimately responsible for is ourselves. We cannot make someone else mature. So Voddie seems to have decided to point to the "famine" in biblical manhood. That's not to say that their isn't also a "famine" in the women of this time. My take away, as a man, is to pursue growth in these areas with the help of my wife, church, and male mentors. I would hope that every man could do the same, even if they don't have a wife yet.

The law can punish men when the woman decides to leave. It isn't fair. Also, I think the church should emphasize getting through the tough times in an imperfect marriage, rather than trying to find the right partner. Marriage age is too high on average (close to 30). Marriage rates are too low. What does that lead to? Low birth rates for married couples, and lots of single parents. Single parents are measurably worse in every aspect for their children. So the next generation is smaller, weaker, and less virtuous when Christians ignore our duty to build familes. It's important to remember the social consequences of our action or inaction. If we can increase the marriage rate, improve the marriages, lower the divorce rate, and have more children -- just in the church -- think of all the good we can do. God gives us enough to sustain ourselves and even bless others. More Christians means more blessings. This, in turn, will communicate the love of Christ. I want to see it snowball out of control.

The Bible establishes that a woman should not hold spiritual authority over the man as a reflection of Christ and his Church (the bride). For the man is the one who holds accountable for the actions of his wife and children. The wife/woman does not stand before God to be held accountable for the actions of her family. Rather, the man is held accountable for the actions of his family. It is not just authority; it is a responsibility and a burden.

My dear christianity was formed by Paul who was against the apostles who believed in God Almighty and Jesus who was His prophet and messenger as he clearly said that he was sent to the lost sheep of Israel and not the gentiles and he did not come to change the laws of Moses but to bring back the Jews to spirituality since they had become materialistic in all their ways. His miraculous birth and the miracles that God gave him was to prove this. I would also like to point out that John:1 was not in the original.scripture. This is the backbone and the base of modern day christianity and when the base is fragile the building will collapse. And it has. This was discovered by christian scholars in 1952 after studying the old manuscripts and that it was an addition by a scribe and they dropped it out of the revised standard edition ( the first print ) and returned it to the following edition since this would cause the building to collapse. The answer he gave is wrong. You don't look to a man to be your provider and you don't look to a man to be your protector. God is your provider, He provides all things to all creatures; and God is your protector, He will lead you and guide you in the way you should go that keeps you out of danger, and when things suddenly come upon you He has already given His angels charge over you to keep you. His answer was a biblical answer and you just reduced the call of the husband to his wife to a narrow personal interpretation which you took certain scriptures to prove your view rather taking all of scripture to see the full understanding of these terms. And yes God is ultimately provider and protector but a man is called to be these things as well to his wife as he represents God to her. Have you read the scripture that calls husbands to love their wives the way Christ loves His church? You just applied your narrow understanding of scripture to the words provider and protector saying these terms only apply to God and in the same breath you said all believers are priests when the word teaches that Christ is our high priest. ( read the book of Hebrews) Again Christ is the ultimate Priest of his people but he calls us to participate in this role hence we belong to the priesthood as well. (1 Peter 2:9) Again all who belong to God are called to represent Him here on earth and we are commanded to participate in His ministry as He uses human vessels to accomplish what He desires to accomplish here on earth.
God is the head of all, true but we haven't physically seen him. He is working in us(humans) fulfilling others humans need through us. Voddies's submission is an expression of divine order. The scriptures says the man is to his wife as Christ is to the church. He is to find, clean and wash and take care of her. The Preacher is a human but he is a sound preacher and He is right on this.

woman is to be priest, provider, authority and head.... when you look at men and women through their biology you are carnal. we are not our biology. in Christ there is no male no female. we are to live by the spirit not by flesh.
@@williamnathanael412 of course God created men and female. in the old testament people were not saved and not indwelled by God. they lived in flesh and were judged based on their performance and obedience. but now we do not live according to the flesh and the Bible says there is no male nor female in Christ Jesus and now we live by the spirit. the spirit has no gender. thats why the Bible teaches that the wife is the head over the husband just as much as he is the head over the wife. thats why the Bible teaches that the husband is to submit and obey his wife just as the wife is to submit and obey her husband.
