After not needing to wear makeup for the past 2+ years, I have struggled with how to wear makeup again and not have it feel like too much. This was such a wonderful video! Well, it's after midnight here in Kentucky and I was doing a bit of catching up! Oh, how I LOVED this tonight! Seems like every time I watch your videos I get inspired! This no makeup, makeup look is just what I have been wanting to achieve and your tips are great! I really loved the eyeshadow sticks, which I don't have, but will be running out to grab some now! And I just LOVE how we women are starting to really "embrace" our individual look, whatever that might be! The older I get, the more I realize that just being ME and LOVING myself as I am, flaws and all, is so freeing!! Boy, how I wish I could go back and tell my younger self to not get caught up in the body-shaming and "what ifs"! Ahh...the lessons we learn, right!? I use a similar routine everyday, no matter where I am going! I used to wear so much more, but at 78, this is a great look for me. At night, I might go with a light foundation and more eyeshadow. As far as self tannning, I have faint age spots on my face. Self tanner makes them dark. This applies to my body, too. I add a few drops of "Rays for Days" to my nightly face skin routine. I use it in the mornings, too!

Beautiful look. Honestly, during the COVID lockdown, I stopped wearing makeup because I never went out. When I finally felt like wearing some again, I just hated spending the time. I love the idea of a tinted BB or CC cream instead of foundation. I've also never tried creme anything because I used to have a lot of acne scars and it just always seemed to highlight them. That's not an issue anymore so I may give creams a try. I love how much easier they seem to blend. At 56 I'm all about making it easy and less work.

Very nice light makeup look, I use the La Roche- Posay Anthelios TINTED 50 spf sunscreen, and it works as my spf, my moisturizer, and my bb or cc cream. It adds a little sheer color and it isn’t heavy. Just a little concealer, blush and mascara and it looks like I have a face 😅. These eyelashes look very natural on you. 🤩👍

Such a great and very timely video for me. As I fast approach 68 I've pretty much ditched my usual 'go-to' makeup look for a much more natural 'This-is-the-me-I am' look and the Perricone 'no -makeup -makeup' has been a real game changer for me. I especially love the mascara. The applicator is very different from what I've always used but the end result is great! BTW If you're looking for new lipsticks, you really should look at UK based world-renowned makeup artist Lisa Eldridge's fantastic make up line - her True Velvet lipsticks with matching lip liners and glosses too made from products that are deliberately chosen to give the wearer an ultra creamy treatment while wearing them. The color range is fabulous and carefully chosen to suit all skin colors and types, I cannot recommend them or Lisa herself enough as she demonstrates each color on herself! Her demonstration Videos are an absolute revelation

Dominique 🧡 I always say the canvas is the most important and for many women they do not need foundation or concealer. Be mindful that a good self tanner will effect your melanin and so if you have age spots or darkness it will make it worse. Try powder bronzers or blush. With absolute love for all you do. Just my extra skin love. I just posted a video on SOME of the bad ingredients in foundation. The beauty industry tries to tell us it’s anti aging or healthy for our skin but it really isn’t. Thanks for this .... absolutely on point! I love make up and having fun with new looks but as I ‘m getting older I’ve been moving my everyday look towards a natural but fresh and groomed look ....so it’s still me .... but improved with imperfections just softened . Being 72 I found powder shadows were ending up in my eye lid creases by the end of the day. I tried and fell in love with cream stick shadows by Julep. I stick with the matt ones and love the look I get. They have also cut down on the time I would take for doing my eyes.

Hi Dominique ❤️ My dream is for you to do my makeup for me! When I was young, I had great skin and I did a great job. I was pretty like you are. Now that I’m older, I have too many wrinkles on my lower cheeks and foundation settles in them and accentuates them. It’s hard to wear foundation. I really need your help!!! Thank you! Hi Deborah, I'm 63 years old and just tried the L'Oreal BB cream. It comes out white and when you rub it in, it changes for skin colour. I put my serums first and my SPF lotion from Drmtlgy then the BB cream, no foundation. It looks great and doesn't settle in my wrinkles. Plus it's drug store price so very affordable.
