After seeing the prices on the online configurator, not sure even Travis Pastrana will be able to afford one. 😂

We love to discuss the exact specifics of various truck components the whole time we are offroading spiritedly, especially in a new place.

My mom and I are from the big island and lived here our whole lives. Her first truck was a Toyota back in the 80's and shes had a Toyota truck ever since. I remember when I was a kid she had 2005 tundra with a 9" lift and 37" tires and I would get picked up from School keep in mind my mom is 5'3" Lady climbing out of that. She currently has a Toyota but is so excited for the new 2024 TRD pro tacoma to come out. She wants one in black. I've had 5 tacomas myself starting with the first gen TRD off-road and every generation all the way up to the current TRD pro myself. Hopefully we can get on a list to suprise her. She's an owner of a local small Business here on the big island and all we talk about is the new TRD Pro! I want her to be one of the first ones with one because she works hard and deserves it! Can't wait! 🌺

I've owned a 1985 Toyota Camry, a 1992 Toyota Camry, a 2005 Toyota Sequoia, a 2014 Toyota Sienna, and a 2022 Toyota Tundra. Looks like I know what my next car is going to be, thank you Toyota for sticking with me all these years and providing a reliable, dependable, and comfortable form of transportation for me and my family!

This would be more exciting if we didn’t know how much Toyota dealerships will be charging over sticker price for this thing. $5,000? $10,000? So $65,000 to $75,000 for a midsize truck after TTL and markups?

Dear Toyota, please straighten out your dealers. I understand that most are independently or group owned and they think they can do what they want but pulling advertising money and allocations for the ones that price gouge may be a start. It tarnishes Toyota’s reputation and you’re losing trust with your customer base. Just my two cents as a life long Toyota customer. How much will the TRD Pro end up being? $65-70k?! I’ve already seen the $5-10 k mark ups and that’s not including all the junk fees that are an additional $1500-2000. I seen a $95k Sequoia Platinum today! Crazy!

Great little truck, but dealer greed will have them sitting on the lot. Of course parts makers will pay double to be the first to build aftermarket parts for them.

These trucks are nice, but they will be vastly overpriced, and then the dealers will mark them up even further. Things cost far too much anymore, and the Tacoma is seeing a massive price increase. These TRD Pros and Trailhunters will be priced out of reach for many of the Toyota Die Hard loyal enthusiasts/lovers.

@toyotausa… when will you allow people to start buying the pros or are they just eye candy for average everyday consumers? Will the seats in them come with a 3 year or 30,000 mile warranty also? Those shocks won’t last forever. I want one if it ever hits the market but it seems like they will go to select few.

After all the recalls lately, the stupid people tax is clear. Now I get the $70k Taco. You got to pay for all the trucks/suv/crossover with the V6, as well as the new $70k Taco transmission recalls. Not counting having to account for the other drive train recalls that are starting to pop up. The there's the GR Corollas that are catching fire if driven like a performance car.

The money spent on those unnecessary seats should have been focused on real front suspension modifications and diff locker. The sway bar disconnect is great but really? Shock absorbers in the seats?

I own 6 Toyotas including a 1998 Tacoma and also a 2004 4Runner with 637,000 miles and a 1968 Land Cruiser that went on a 2 yr African safari. Love my Yota's! 👍

Toyota please do something to stop dealer markups! 😡 Maybe a new policy, if they get caught, the dealer will be fined that same amount and have to refund it to the customer by check.

Should've kept the V6. 😞 Not thrilled about a 4 banger turbo in a mid sized truck no matter what the Bhp is and torque values are. A 4 cylinder engine belongs in a light pickup not a mid size truck. Poor engine will be overworked.

Are you reading comments Toyota? ...I own 2 houses in So Cal... close to the 190th Toyota facilities you closed..i live in one and rent the other..both are 2008 foreclosures I bought very cheap..both are paid for..i hold the Grant deed on em..as you can imagine living with no rent..no mortgages for about 15 years has been very kind to me..I can buy/drive whatever i want..I would never pay 40/50k and up for any car truck..ever..who are you making these vehicles for ?..
