This is why I respect Gunther. He seems like a No Frills kind of guy. He is so professional on the levels of John Cena in terms of his outside the ring character. If John Cena were to have a last match I would want it against Gunther.

Give it to someone who can actually lead the future of the company for the next decade or so. Gunther has value and so does Bron Breakker and Ilja Dragunov. These are the three aces of WWE. I will go as far as giving the rub to Carmelo Hayes. As of now these are the ACES that need that push. The last time we had this kind of star power was literally 20 years ago when we had the John Cena's class from OVW. Brock, Batista, Orton, and Cena. All ACES.

More eyes on the product means more people subscribing to Peacock and getting the WWE Network to watch Wrestlemania 40. Nothing wrong with The Rock inserting himself into the picture because we need more than Cody getting his win back and making the same stale Cody vs the Bloodline story that has been told with every other guy. The build up also shook up storylines on both brands. It shook up Raw because Seth was involved in a story on a Smackdown show and this made it possible for the Bloodline to pop up on Raw keeping the eyes on the WWE Championship. You want to elevate the Company belt before the WHC.
Smart guy with a smart answer. To be honest as long as he get paid and get good screen time it doesn't matter what happen the rest of the show. Its good for him because people come to see the Wyatt6 and so it also helps him. Variety is very important or people get bored of one style of wrestling.
Gunther is right and Undertaker is the perfect example of this. On hand he had a supernatural gimmick but on other hand he has great in ring skills and delivered some of the excellent performances.
I love that he admits that it's not necessarily for him, but gives it credit for drawing interest. A lot of fans miss Bray, let us pay tribute to him 🤷♂️
Yeah, but the Undertaker worked like a champ to look legit as much as he could and despite the fantasies of Vince. Both, Taker and bray, tried to kill people, got on fire, went to the heavens and everything of that crap in a wrestling program. The Wyatts already showed up smiling with a fan, made sleep a bunch of security guys in 5 seconds and brought phony VHS tapes to a production team in 2024. I like them, but I just hope this goes to something because that wasn't the case with Bray Wyatt
@@juanluis2855I agree, I really really hope Taylor doesn’t get stuck in his own head as much as Bray used to. We like supernatural stuff in wrestling (otherwise Taker would have stopped working as a character by 2003) but it needs to go somewhere precise and to get there rather quickly. We can’t have him deliver VHS for months and have him wrestle weird ass dark light matches then disappear for a couple of months again. We get it , we gotta take the time to savor for this kind of thing but we been savoring for years with Bray to the point the shit is starting to get sour , them Wyatt 6 need to be active now, get into all the present storylines and more importantly WIN lots of matches

In the world of professional wrestling, you can have both the serious stuff and the supernatural (although Wyatt Sicks haven't done anything "supernatural" yet, more psychological) coexist and make the overall product great. I love the Wyatt Sicks and look forward to where it will go while also loving how dominating Gunther is and his style of wrestling. If you have too much on either side (too supernatural or too "wrestling is sacred") it can really become a stale product. Need to have different styles to keep things interesting. Are we ever going to see Gunther vs. Howdy or something like that? Probably not, but I feel the Wyatt Sicks will be more wrestling focused when in matches, I don't think they'll be wrestling in their masks.

There's nothing wrong with Gunter.... He's not at all un-suited to this era. Good in the ring, his character works and he's over. It's no more complicated than that.
I hope they dont keep the spooky stuff in the matches, like original Wyatt Family were fast big guys able to bring it into a match is what we need, the spooky stuff might wear thin soon Pheww, .......WE'RE HERE Hahahaha That was good and you knew the Wyatt family could bring it, so i hope Wyatt 6 keep that type of aura and not creepy movement over and over😅 but you never know it might work
I like Gunther’s style, straight up old fashioned wrestler that believes in minimal story and maximum in ring performances. That said the Wyatt Sicks story is on another level and I’m loving it

Spooky gimmicks should have been banished from wrestling after they made kane into a joke. The only spooky stuff that actually worked wss undertaker, gangrel and prime kane were active. Everyone that has followed them looked like a pretender

Don't kid yourself; this could easily get very shit very quickly. This act is best used very sparingly where they very occasionally appear to dish out some karma cos lets be honest, no-one was loudly calling for a return of Bo Dallas until Bray passed..... And as cool as the segments have been; does anyone really care if we see Gable v Dallas in a match or not? .........Problem being they can't just keep 5 people under contract to pull out of the hat for a few interference spots once or twice a year.
No other supernatural-type of persona, that is better than Ministry Undertaker persona. If Gunther is a wrestler that is at the same era with that Undertaker, it's impossible for him to dislike it.

I kinda agreed with Gunther on this. The Bray Wyatt stuff, the promos, the lights out, the supernatural unrealistic thing... Didn't go anywhere. And the Wyatts already exposed themselves. The positive thing that I have to say is that I like them and the spooky stuff that they try to do and the fact that Bo Dallas is very talented in the ring unlike his brother. But they need to be serious, make sense and go to the point of what they desire or want. A wrestling show is not a not understandable psychological scary thriller of Rob Zombie

Lets be honest Taker was pretty crap after his first 18 months all the way up until Mankind debuted and still had a long list of crap storylines and an even longer list of bad matches ever since. ......And Kane was pretty much botched and re-booted constantly. Sometimes it's just the long-term commitment to a character's presentation that gets them over and that was the case with both The B.O.D.
The wyatt SIcKS are a group of sympathy jobbers! I avoid them every time they come on. Hopefully the main rosters' booking doesn't suffer for it. They're making a jobber joke out of Gable😂
All 5 members are perfectly capable workers if you’ve never seen them wrestle before. They aren’t Kurt Angle or Gunther but not everyone has to be. Just be relatively athletic, don’t dump people on their heads, and look intimidating.
Nahhh the Wyatt 6 is too early to put in the title picture. Imo I don’t think they need a title at all. They could do more by feuding with other talent like they’re doing with gable. I have a feeling jey is next in line or Finn whenever the judgement day breaks up

I mean... just imagine if the Wyatt 6 were able to find Gunther's weak spot and he reinforced his status by becoming able to fight back and stay strong... if I was Gunther I would be intrigued and I have a feeling he's open to explore new territories like that.

This coming from a guy who cant drop a fire promo meanwhile the wyatt sicks got a bigger pop in the last month than he got in any of his matches. Facts are facts Gunther is ok but he's not particularly my taste... Ps he will not beat priest and he wont be champion til next year or whatever. Sorry but homeboy needs more work to show he can carry the brand.
