I just have to say that I adore Èlia Bastidas jazz violin playing, she has at an early age already reached this high level that very few can reach. It is a privilege to listen to her together with this string quartet and Scott Hamilton and Joan Chamorro Trio.

She has the same sound as Johnny Frigo hits you right in the soul.

Magnífica versión de este clásico inmortal de la Bossa Nova. Sensacional conjunto de maestros, compacto y sin fisuras, destacando con matrícula de honor Scott Hamilton (parece que estoy escuchando a Stan Getz, nada menos) y Elia Bastida, con su maravilloso sonido al violín. Sobresalientes todo el resto de acompañantes, los de siempre: Monné, Juliá y Chamorro, más algunas incorporaciones nuevas en estas grabaciones: Mallinger, Roma y Diallo. Por cierto, cotilleos: Christoph Mallinger es la pareja de Andrea Motis (ya tienen un hijo de 1 añito) y Marta Roma no sé si es tía de Rita Payés, hermana de su madre, a ver si alguien me lo confirma o me lo desmiente, please.
