“PC Gamers Don’t Deserve Bloodborne!” - Miyazaki Wants a PC Port and PS5 Fanboys are Upset About It 

Sony refuses to port Bloodborne to PC because they are saving it for the PS6 launch. Sony stupidly thinks it will convince PC gamers to buy a console. It's the same reason they refuse to port the Demon Souls remake to PC. Sony stupidly thinks it will convince PC users to buy a PS5.

i guess the good thing to come out of this is that you can BET your ass that Miyazaki is never doing another PS exclusive

It’s so funny how people say that Sony cares about the souls-borne series because they bought exclusivity to Demon Souls and Bloodborne and funded them. Sony didn’t have faith in the original Demon Souls’ success and only gave a shit about exclusivity when the games were doing good. Souls-bornes were never a Sony brand because they never had faith in it to begin with.

Make it 60 fps and release it on all platforms, literally sitting on a goldmine!

I'll put this bluntly. SONY should release Bloodborne on PC or else, once emulation can do it at a barely playable form, it will all be lost money.

Imagine being a little pony supporting a corporation holding their IPs so hostage, that speaking of PC ports gets you in actual trouble. If I ever play a Pony game again, (which I rarely ever did anyway) it'll always be pirated. They can join Nintendo on my list :)

People think I must be an Xbox fanboy because of how often I criticize Sony, but no... I've just become very anti-Sony this generation. If anything, I'm a former Nintendo fanboy (if my pfp didn't give that away), am now PC-only, and have zero Xbox consoles. But Sony has been responsible for so many shitty practices this gen that I can't help but root for the competition to take them down a peg, even if it's Microsoft. Bloodborne should've been on PC ages ago. At least MS puts all their stuff on PC day & date, often giving you a PC/Xbox copy free if you buy on one platform or the other. But Sony wants to drag their feet, hold games hostage, pretend they'll convince PC gamers to buy a PS5 for a handful of games, and doesn't even pretend to care about preserving their own library.

Pretty sure if Bloodborne goes on PC, it would get at least 8 million sales.

'If I want one I'll get in trouble' Is EXACTLY the same statement as my favourite Japanese JRPG dev 'Level-5' who constantly get asked for a Dark Cloud 3 but aren't allowed. SONY has this awful culture of creating great IPs and just sitting on its corpse as they get lost to time, I have an XBOX/PC and all of Level-5 non SONY IPs are available on all platforms now, yet their most popular games (Dark Cloud/Rogue Galaxy) are locked in the SONY IP dungeon 😭

At this point if Sony allows bloodborne to be released on PC. Then Sony would most likely make it PSN required.

For the fanboys, all that's happening is they get their 15 seconds of fame from flame tweets and that is the most interesting thing to happen for them that month. If nothing else, you should feel sorry for them. They have NOTHING going on in their lives other than the fact they bought a plastic box.

In my personal opinion. It should be perfectly legal and ok for Miyazaki to just so say fuck sonys exclusivity deal and do whatever he wants with bloodborne. He is literally the creator of it. He should have every right to do whatever he wants with it. Especially after this long and seeing that Sony is going to do absolutely nothing with it and just let it disappear into the old hardware. He should be able to fully take all rights back on it and do whatever he wants with it

I think this more just confirms my suspicion that Sony is saving a remake for the PS6 like they did with Demon Souls for the PS5. They fully know they have a super easy success on their hands and they know it will sell well. They are using it as a get out of jail free card because you know damn well ppl will buy a PS6 for Bloodborne even if that is the only game they buy the console for. Now if that does not happen then yeah idk what the fuck they are doing lol. I wouldn't buy a PS6 for one game but I have a bad feeling a lot of ppl would.

To be fair fromsoft games have been on PlayStation since before the souls series

Imagine convince someone putting 1~2k US dollar for their PC to buy your downgrade potato machine that doesn't even have more than a dozen new games(remasters and remakes doesn't count as new) and the already existed games are better played at their PC than those plastic box which also sell games more expensive and cost extra to play Online... really Sony?

I assume the big reason BB hasnt been ported yet is 2 fold. 1. Sony sharing exclusives is still a new thing 2. I wouldnt be surprised to find out the multi player servers for BB are special snowflake servers and they dont like the idea of a half assed port. There also might be the slim chance BB was tailored specifically for the ps4 making a port difficult (like how we will *never* MGS 4 on another console or pc sadly)

Honestly, I've found in my many years of observing all cultures of gamers that Xbox [users] are just fanboys who want to see the brand succeed. They don't care how or why, even if it means giving their exclusives to PC and even PlayStation. PlayStation players are more than fanboys; I often think of them as a cult. They would rather see the world burn than have anything any other way than PlayStation on top. PC users think of themselves as a class above any other gamers, though this often leads to them also arguing in hardware wars like the old days of PS3 and Xbox 360. Often, they will talk about how console players argue over plastic boxes, but a PC player will argue over a metal case. Same difference.

The fact Sony owns the code and not Fromsoft is a bit puzzling. Fromsoft developed the thing so it should be their decision. PS4 exclusivity is over with, either release the thing or just come out and say no we aren't releasing it. Then it will shut people up about it and we can move on.

How is it even possible that Sony is this incompetent? How do you get a company to be as huge as Sony with such braindead people at the helm? Like if how they handle their game development and publishing is how they handle the rest of the business I'm surprised the whole thing isn't up in flames at this point. PC community: "Hey, if you port this game over to PC (an effort that is way, way easier and faster than developing an entire new game) it is extremely likely that you will sell MILLIONS of new copies to people who never had the hardware for it to begin with or want to relive it" Sony: "Nah, here have more Cinematic Third Person Action Adventure games with 1/10th the actual gameplay of a FromSoft title" I don't get it. I really don't. In what way would this be a bad business decision? FromSoft would obviously give the green light so barring some arcane IP-rights shit there can not possibly be anything holding it up besides Sony being Sony.

The PS5 only has 3 good exclusives games. Bloodborne, infamous second son and demon souls remake. Fanboys are angry because porting bloodborne to PC will quite literally remove a third of the reasoning to buy a PS5. And thats coming from someone who owns a ps5 specifically for these games

More people would be willing to pay 60 dollars for a remaster or port of Bloodborne to Steam, than the number of people who would dish out the money for a Sony console to play the same game. Yet Sony seems to not understand this, yet foolishly and selfishly thinks they will make more money by having console sales. Think about it, pay anywhere from the price for a used PS4 all the way up to a new PS5, PLUS the money to buy the game. OR, pay 60 dollars for an enhanced and BETTER experience of the same game, available on your PC.

How is it possible for a license NIGHTMARE like Marvel Vs Capcom can get green lit FASTER than PC Bloodborne and most of Nintendo’s classic Library? Bloodborne is ASTOUNDINGLY peak, it deserves pc, the amount of Fan content for such a great game would be huge. (Lord knows we can’t have such nice fan content for Switch Games on Yuzu anymore because Nintendo is such a pain… that fell on that emulator’s devs of course but still. Only SOME of that was their fault apparently.)

I will never understand this mindset console gamer have. If you want to play Bloodborne (or any other console game for that matter) on PC you can just emulate it. I would prefer to buy it but if they don't want my money then so be it I guess.
