22:30 there are relatively affordable Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO) certificates available at colleges and trade schools. You learn a portion in class and put like ~200 hrs on the machine itself (backhoe, loader, etc.) It's a good path into construction. OSHA certifications are valuable, and some schools may curate their own classes on top of that. Colleges also partner with local construction companies to hire their graduates as entry-level operators.
Also, I've met plenty of equipment operators, carpenters, and others who are over 45-50, healthy, and still enjoying the job. It's not too late for her!
