I like how a reoccurring critique in this video is that the truth and lies involved don't engage before they resolve. Time and time again i see interesting themes and characters interacting around plot but the story doesn't place the characters in situations where there is develop in a steady manner. I like talking point a lot. Thanks.
Hori admitted that he was going to make Shouto win the Sport's Festival but because Shouto had alot of trauma from his past he made him lose in the final round against Bakugo since all those issues wouldn't just go away because of a single talk from Deku.
I would say that the difference is that in a dynamic character arc, a character starts out with one viewpoint, but changes there self or viewpoint by the end of the story, because the past viewpoint was proven to be wrong, while in a flat character arc, a character starts out with one viewpoint and ends with that same viewpoint, but with that viewpoint having a much stronger foundation, because it’s been proven to be right.
