Notice the rearward tailpieces. That's either a quite rare (and quite expensive) 2007 JP model or a standard model redone to the JP specs. Either way, much investment was made just in the equipment.
For those of you unaware, Jimmy Sakurai, AKA “Mr. Jimmy”, is fully endorsed by and good friends with the the real Jimmy Page, who said of him that he looks like a young Jimmy Page, and Mr. Jimmy has even shredded on stage alongside Jason Bonham. His career objective in emulating Page is to preserve, as closely as possible in a live format, the Led Zeppelin experience for younger audiences.
Jimmy Sakurai was on point. The bassist got lost during the solo near the end and killed it for the band. Def NOT the best cover by any standard here. Drummer is good as well, although a little stiff.
I love the way he's incredible and yet just a little bit all over the shop just like the real Jimmy Page back in the day. And he looks incredible. The rest of the band are pretty bloody good too. Shame the outro was cut off!
I’ve sang along with every zep song at some time in my life. Imagine being able to hit the wide range of notes like this guy. I’d be doing karaoke every weekend!
I will never understand the attraction to the so-called tribute act that dress like famous artist and I just don’t get it man. It’s so unwatchable to me, but I’m a musician and I just think I’d love to see these musicians do their thing their way I mean you have the records in the DVDs of the original people if you want to reminisce this is just a joke. I don’t even understand it man people love this shit though it’s unbelievable.
