i agree with sayed ammar.i think we never met the prophet saw and his ahlubait AS so we will never be like ammar ibn yasir RA we never lived the expierence but we still believe and we try but we are in adifferent diffcult Dajjal times..but we have to differentiate ourselves from nawasib so thats why we say we are shia muslims

Because this hope that one day all our trying to be a better shia will be accepted and praised in the bargah of Imam keeps us going.. if we all perceive that we can never be like the companions so what's the point of trying ... Maybe ADHD... But should not look down on The spectrum though or having problem to see SAN in the eyes.. That is Something most people with autism has problem with.. Not his fault... But sayed Ammar is really a blessing... Especially cause he talks english since most shia speakers talk only arabic or urdu... We have to know the state of the shias that the imam kicked out, maybe they acted indecently or had issues with their beliefs, i wouldnt conclude this as an absolite ruling and that we must not call ourselves shia because of it.
I would like to add another argument or discussion to take into consideration . If Imam Sadiq A would have safe average joe who is a good Shia ( not to the level of those companions ) would we have known who that average joe is? Maybe Imams point was that you need to have all the essence of Shia to consider yourself one

Before I reverted to Islam Shia never made sense to me. Now that I’m a Muslim it still doesn’t make sense to me. I say this with no disrespect by the way. I was a Christian before so I associated a partner with Allah SWT and now that I’m no longer following that concept it breaks my heart that Shias don’t see that they’re doing the same thing by praying to others like Ali RA or any of the other Sahabi.

Allahumma sali ala Muhammad wa ale Muhammad, Imam Jaffar(as) has said, "One who does not pray salat al Layl is not from us." Meaning a "shia"... hence why we have to be very careful throwing around the word shia. And for my fellow brother and sisters from ahl Sunnah, Jaffar al sadiq(as) was the profound teacher of alllll your great Sunnah scholars such as Abu Hanifa and Imam Malik ibn Anas, before I get attacked... 😅
Allah clearly states in the quran the stance on breaking into parties. We are just Muslim and that is enough; do the worships & duas however you were taught as long as it’s not shirk. Also, siding politically with a person even if they were bad and wrong doesn’t kick someone out of being a muslim, so that’s not a valid point to hate or curse ppl; Allah will take care of them if they were wrong & harmed anyone or islam. Just follow whichever dunya-bound things (how to pray, which duaas to emphasize, etc) that bring you closer & knowing Him SWT as long as it’s not outright haram. Bc THAT is the point of islam, nothing else. Not one, single thing else. Besides knowing Allah!!!!!! On the gray areas of religion, make your judgement calls and Allah knows best. But this whole labels thing is really sad & unnecessary, trickery of satan. I really feel upset at the “sunnis” and “shias” who over-emphasize these parties instead of just calling onto one another as human bros and sisters towards Allah’s message. It’s nothing more than Shaytans trick to care about egos, or the ppl who did wrong in the past. & Allah will take care of them as He knows the truth of what happened in history. You can love the family & companions as you were taught, bc at the end of the day we’ll never have 100% proof, it’s all belief of transmission of history. So just do what is right for your heart & Allah, and make duaa for anyone you think believes wrongfully. Anything else is against the example of the Prophets; we just guide & ppl do as they wish. May Allah guide this ummah to what is important instead of superfluous opinions and obsessions of what sides of dunya history Allah made us born into. May He grant us tawfeeq to worship Him in whatever ways are pleasing to Him SWT ameen, and may Allah bless all the Prophets and those beloved to Him, ameen
Bro I have no idea what they’re talking about but I feel like I need to convert to Islam from Christianity but I don’t know how. I just feel more connected to Allah but I dont know why, my whole family has always been Christian.

Sayed best answer is: When you pray behind salat jamaa (group salat), 1 of the criterias is to believe that the one leading the salat is adel (a just person), you don't have to know the salat leading person's life history to pray behind him, you can pray behind that person based on what you already know that is apparent on him, just like the shia term, Allah (swt) knows best!
Both sunni and shia have a right to work from there tradition that was inherited... but then you begin throwing the book of Allah behind your tradition that's a problem

When you insist upon associating OTHER things to la illaha illalah. That is şirk. Its pretty straightforward and logical to me. Today's shias do not follow imam cafer r.a. they follow their own instincts. Shias resemble christians. Each one has a different idea. Shiasm has to much emotion involved. I was wondering what "Shia" is vs "Muslim" in Islam? Sunni Muslims also know the failings of the Ummayads.... be critical and condemn wrongdoing, but don't curse people who were Sahaba as don't factually know the context of some of their disputed actions centuries ago.
Why doesn’t he finish the Hadith? Imam Reza (as) said not to call yourselves Shia because they indulged in Taqiyya, similar to what moe deen is doing by saying we are all Muslims. Very stupid argument, and Sayed Ammar Nakshawani should have picked up on this and refuted him right there.
In verse 3:75 of the Quran Allah (swt) clearly declares that Ali bin Abi Talib is the successor and first of 12 Imams. Today 90% of Muslims are Twelver Shia and the other 10% are small deviant sects.” Shias wish they could say this ^^
People TODAY at the level of being a True Shia like Muhammad the son of Abu Bakr [r] or Amr ibn Yasir [r] would NEVER identify themselves publicly. In fact, they'll probably act foolish and a moron publicly in order to distract that attention away from themselves spiritually because as soon as you are identified as on such a high level, it becomes very difficult to maintain it, if not completely impossible. You have to act a fool to hide you have reached such a high level of spirituality. I have found no other better way. It's peace of mind from the people. That's why I don't even use my real name here when I dialogue with people intellectually in the comments. Only get involved when things become critical.

Silly conversation on a silly semantics of labels which will continue to change with culture..waste of time conversation...why not discuss the whole point of everything..why don't we ask how many so called mono theistic religions actually comprehend the meaning and poind of Tawheed .. when and if you actually inherit true Tawheed... All this nonsense will become irrelevant..all labels.and all names that divide will become irrelevant.. there are two kinds of ppl.. those with the ways of the grand magnanimous system known as Tawheed.. and those who submit and are enslaved to false identities or false idols. You and I are not. 1: The hadith does not say that Salman called Abu Dharr a kafir 2: Here is the hadith and the reference so you can check the narrators. Bring me proof that whoever narrates this is a ghali: Taqiyya was mentioned one day in the presence of Ali ibn al-Husayn. So he said: ‘By Allah, if Abu Dharr knew what was in the heart of Salman, he would have killed him. Despite the Messenger of Allah having made peace between them. So what about the rest of the creation?. Indeed, the knowledge of the ‘Ulama is difficult. It cannot be handled by anyone except a sent Prophet, or a close angel, or a believing slave whom Allah had tested his heart for belief.’ So he [the Imam] said: ‘Salman became one of the Ulema because he is a figure from us Ahlulbayt, so he was attributed to the Ulema’." [Al Kafi Volume 1 Page 401]

We have many narrations that tells us, to check riwayah with the quran. Is this narration in accordance with the quran?
Very sad how now we must identify as sects other than muslim...I guess the quran isn't enough for us..Quran 7:52 We have given them a scripture that is fully detailed, with knowledge, guidance, and mercy for the people who believe.. anyone who believes la ilaha illa llah muhammadar rasulullah s.a.w is a muslim...one can simply say I am muslim and that is enough..He has chosen you and did not impose any hardship on you in the religion, the faith of your father Ibrāhīm. He (Allah) named you as Muslims earlier and also in this (Qur’ān), so that the Messenger becomes a witness to you, and you become witnesses to (other) people...wallahi this zeal to our sects and leaving the quran has to stop...from both the sunni world and the shia world.. shia and sunni stop your endless battles and return to the book of Allah our claims are nothing until we do that.
Mohammed saws said according to sahih muslim and other sunni books to hold on to quran AND ahle al bayt a.s. If following them we never go astray after mohammed saws... He didn't say to just hold on to quran.... It was umar who said that when he refused mohamed Something to write on and with to follow to not go astray... He said mohammed was ill and hallucinating and refused to obey him and said quran is enough..... There r many things in hadith which are not in quran... Like how to pray... What to say when praying... If only following quran how to pray then... And if abu bakr & co didn't go to saqeefa on The funeral day of mohammad saws to elect a leader even they knew imam Ali a.s was already chosen there would not be 2 main groups... If all obeyed mohammed and followed imam Ali a.s there would not be any sunnis.. The splitting in sects started in saqeefa... Its not fault of The shias who obeyed mohammed saws order to follow Ali a.s... One can't be just muslim today as when mohammed saws lived. ... One has to take a choice...

Alhamdulillah I didn't convert to islam because of umar or abu bakr I read the quran and believed it to be the word of Allah and I believe in his prophet muhammad s.a.w ...islam isn't about arguing about abu bakr umar and ali etc islam is a light Allah casts in the heart of his servant...history and argumentation doesn't get one closest to Allah...taqwa ..a'maalus saalihaat ikhlas etc zuhd sidq these qualities are what makes someone a good muslim ...I believe ali was the best of sahabah but he never cursed or constantly focused on the faults of other muslims etc he was noble and excellent..and the sahaba were also great human beings ...the 12imams carried the light of the prophet s.a.w likewise all the great awliya etc
