When you said "No one is gonna saved you" I remember a Quote from a Cartoon Series that says: "If nobody wants to give you opportunities, how about make it your own". Which is the same case that happened to successful people like Elon Musk OR celebrities like... Keanu Reeves. Nobody gave them jobs so instead... they hired themselves! And became multimillionaires after several years later.

I'm closing in on 40. In my life, I've had good jobs, bad jobs, and I've been unemployed. I've been in great shape, I've been in average shape, and I've been in bad shape. I've been incredibly ambitious, I've been somewhat ambitious, and I've been completely defeated. In all my years, throughout all the jobs and relationships I've had, countries I've lived in, outlooks I've held, and experiences I've had, I've learned one thing, and one thing alone. It doesn't matter how smart you are, how hard you work, how high your goals are, or what your beliefs are. In the end, the ONLY thing that matters is what difficulty setting your life is set to. Also known as how lucky you are. You are far, far, FAR better off to be dumb, lazy, untalented and unmotivated, but wildly lucky and living life on "Easy" mode, than you are to be wickedly smart, ambitious, talented and motivated, but unlucky and living life on "Nightmare" mode. That's the unfortunate fact of the universe.

I've been saying this but apparently there's really no one who cares. It's just so damn sad. They just have that "It is what it is" mentally that is so selfish. As long as they don't have to put in work they will do whatever they want. I've known so many hypocrites with bystander effects, it's ridiculous how I couldn't even find one person when I was going through bad things. What a depressing way future generations will be. I can't protect my daughter from this which makes it much more so depressing..

Man, this really hurt to read. I agree with you though. Everyone is tranquilized by nihilism. And that’s the danger of pessimism. You begin to make things worse out of fear of things becoming worse. It’s a never ending spiral. I’m happy that you are aware to the degree that you are, because what that means is that you can now help yourself and the family you have created. Keep your head, you’re gonna need it. Best wishes to yourself and your family. Seek on❤️

Gen Z in Kenya made history yesterday - their collective activism forced the Kenyan president to concede and withdraw what would have been the most oppressive Finance Bill from Kenyan 🇰🇪 #WithdrawFinanceBill2024 parliament... I believe there is a lot of hope for Gen Z🥲🤩❤️

I always had the mentality, the generation are very good at infantilising themselves when it comes to facing problems. It’s like lack of self accountability. There’s always something to blame. But there’s never looking inwards. That’s why most of Gen Z fails. Most of them think like teenagers. I always had the impression young adulthood is just teenhood part 2. Even it’s just crying with no actions really. Even down to making all these doomer videos on Gen Z being doomed. It’s pretty boring they would have never survived back in older generations day. They are pretty weak mentally. Even if they had it better. They probably wouldn’t have done anything. There’s no incentive of them to face hardship just want things handed them easily as the internet conditioned them into wanting instant gratification, life will never work this way.

Watching from Australia, your video is great and I feel it will resonate with most who think alike, the only thing I can't agree with is that we cannot suffer in the first world. Things like corporate greed, goverment corruption, and agenda pushing are real problems in all parts of the world. Indivudal problems such as poverty, domestic voilence, substance abuse, unemployment and education are still problems in many towns and suburbs. Yes, we are safer from things like war and foreign occupation in counties like AUS, NZ, USA, UK compared to other countries, but it helps that our location gives us a great distance from other counties who might want to invade us, although nothing is impossible. In second and third world countries, like where my family come from, the dynamic is a bit different and the average person has different problems. Less people are in crippling debt, and the average person competes less for things like jobs and housing (although there are less options for these things), the lifestyle also seems more social and less expectations from employers, I have not lived there but can base this opinion on what I have observed and what I have been told by locals during my travels. In the first world I feel like we have more political tension today than we have in almost 80 years. In my city, Melbourne, mass protests are an almost weekly occurance and have been for the past few years, police brutality is a common problem, a lot of law and regulation although stabbings still happen multiple times a week, eventhough we have banned guns we still have gun crime and gang wars that happen out in suburban streets. Everybody, everywhere is copping it in a different way.

That’s a great point, and I could have worded that better. There is no point in undermining someone’s suffering for the sake of pointing out the suffering of another (which was not my intention). I do agree with you 💯

@@CorbanConversations Yes mate, I should have added it here but i edited it in the first comment instead, I think we're all suffering but in different ways. I'm a late millenial and am noticing the points you mention is coming up a lot more lately, most of us are feeling a bit doomed, and I think the cost of living pressure has helped move the spotlight toward this type of discussion when it started to become a bit too late. Everybody knows that (unfortunately) the average person just isn't getting by as easy as they use to. I'm noticing it a lot in the service industry in multiple parts of Australia, the older generation will say nobody wants to work anymore, but I think it's because enough is never enough no matter how much effort is put in you might always feel stuck at the bottom. A 40 hour work week use to be plenty to keep a roof over your head and a little leftover for some nice things like dinner at a restaurant a couple times a week even in cities like Melbourne and Sydney, but now we're being guilt tripped for eating avocado on toast by the previous generations who are partially to blame for this mess (by the way, didn't our parents always tell us to eat our greens?) Also, employers are wanting more and more from their workers in and customers are spending a higher amount than ever for less effort in return. A middle tier restaurant in Australia costs $40-$60 per adult for a decent dinner, you won't get service with a smile often any more either. It goes both ways, I can't blame either person in that type of scenatio.

@@JV8391very good analysis. It is an unfortunate situation that we have on our hands. I do believe however, that the tide can change. Truly.

The problem is that with each generation, people are getting more selfish and self-centered. And people in power are getting more greedy. As long as the higher ups in our society are keeping people divided, ignorant, and distracted, they will continue to live well off our backs. I'm glad more people are starting to wake up to this crap.

Your switched on brother, i respect that. Your words hold more value than what most of the material has to offer hopefully with enough people (which im sure there are many however are less overt because this way of thinking although present throughout all of history is niche) become as insightful as you the light of the truths of good and evil will permeate through. Despite this, in the meantime the degenerate ones will always make the most noise as to desperately convince themselves that their course of deprevity is right.
