I’m so happy for the Bengals and their fans. As a lifelong Bills fan I’ve always rooted for the bengals and browns if the Bills were out of contention. We have similar fanbases from similar rust belt cities. I hope they win it all in two weeks
Not to mention being "small market teams", thats what is so exciting about this. Im dying for the Bengals to go to LA and shock the world in front of God and the rest of Hollywood.
Thank you Rich, hopefully you can be talking about the Jet's in the same way in a few years. Ya gotta give us a few years at least lol. Peace and love y'all 🤟
I thought the Bengals would get beat by every playoff team they played so now I just have no confidence in them losing to the Rams even though they're the underdog again.
When people look back and happen to watch this entire season of The Bengals they will realize it was among the most exciting seasons of football of any team.
This is why I keep saying there’s going to be a 30 for 30 about this season. From the off-season pick ups, the doubters, Chase’ preseason, Burrow’s comeback, kicker calling the win before the kick… It’s been so damn fun.
@@cosborne06 I wasn't even born the last time we won a playoff game till this season and I tell you it was a painful decade to watch us sputter out and fall short. But this is it.
I had the "six to eight wins" projection for the Bengals, until after the Week 7 game against the Ravens. Even though the rest of the schedule looked like a gauntlet, the ceiling went to ten wins and a playoff spot. They're definitely ahead of schedule.
what is funny about the Bengals is, each team in the playoffs that got to play them was happy. "Oh yay, we only have to play the Bengals!" And then the Bengals beat them lol. I have been Joe Burrow truther since watching almost all of his games at LSU. The team is hot and they have a scary amount of quiet confidence. I would not want to play them.
The Bengals are going to win the Super Bowl and still be seen as underdogs. Then they're gonna run it back next year, and still be seen as underdogs. The NFL, the sports media universe and the average fan needs to wake up and accept that Cincinnati is a force to be reckoned with.
Actually, if they win it all and Burrow has a great game (which I fully expect), his presence alone will make the Bengals a serious contender as long as he's around. You're gonna get the respect. It's not like you guys are the Browns!
Fans love variety. The old saying you either die the hero or live long enough to become the villain applies here. The Chiefs had been to the last two SB ... people wanted to see someone new get a shot.
It wasn't really that, it was just how lousy the chiefs would play but they'd get away with it. They should've lost the game to the Bills, should've been Bengals in Buffalo. The talent that team has gets in the way of the fact that they don't put in the work to be great. Cincy does.
When you see some of the greats lose in these games like Mahomes, Rodgers, etc. You can really appreciate the insane stats of what Brady has accomplished in his 20 (playinyears), 10 super bowl games. How hard it is to get back to that game.
....as a life long Packer fan, and being disappointed their not being in the super bowl, I couldn't be happier for the Bengals and Joe Barrows epic run to the big game...congrats to the team and their long suffering fans...
I have been a Bengal fan for 40 years … I used to wait up until the local evening news or the George Michael Sports Machine to see Bengals highlights when they won (rarely happened) and we would get a 45 second clip … ESPN would give us 10-15 seconds …. It’s good to get the opening 🙌 Who-Dey , should be a great game!
Born in ‘89 to a diehard Bengals family. I never dreamed I’d see the day where we not only win a playoff game, but make it to the SUPER BOWL?! Pinch me lol so proud of my Bengals. Definitely not taking this for granted. WHO DEY!!
I saw their week 1 victory over the Vikings and thought "these guys can make the playoffs, maybe win a game" i never imagined them making it to the Superbowl.
I'm a fan of Burrow since I saw him in LSU. His posture - as we say in my homecountry - when it's time for the snake to smoke is as cool and killing as it gets. With the right pieces I thought he could take Cincinnati far and really hoped he and his generation of players would be the one to end the playoff drought. That being said, he is at least five years ahead of my best expectations for him and the team. They have many of the right pieces there already and they have guts to win like maybe no other team in the league. No game is a gimme against them, especially starting in january
@@klondor7432 Ask Amelia Molitor, the whyte girl who rejected him in a bar at Oklahoma who he then knocked out w one punch. Broke her face. Mixon and Oklahoma had to pay her a lot of money.
cause drafting is not a thing outside of the US. In soccer, it's a free market, if you're a big city like Madrid, Milan or London, you have rich owners. They can buy and sell players that started pro as a very young age.
This was beautiful Rich, a perfect way to describe why we love football. Its hard to win a championship, Brady is just a special case. But as a Packers fan i've experienced my great deals of heartbreak and disappointment, but that day in 2011 has still made it all worth it, the day where the Packers finally reached the mountain top again, and ruled the world. This is why we watch sports, for the miracle moments that make us forget all about the heartbreak.
What Cincinnati did is incredible you can Draft the right Quarterback, you can get the right players, the right coaches, and the right executives, and go to the promise land. They did all that in two years. Yeah you can build a team in a short period of time. It takes that one special Quarterback to get an organization started
One special QB doesnt matter if the OL is bad or the wrs cant catch ect. That both OLs could not run the ball was a bad sign for both teams and qbs. The overall team has to be good for the QB to EVER matter.
I keep telling myself that as a Browns fan and now not sure with Borrow Mahomie and Herbert Not to positive that even if we had a Russell Wilson that can happen but I am a Browns fan so we expect to be nowhere in February
The reputation with Mike Brown and the Bengals organization for all these years was that they're cheap, i.e., substandard training and practice facilities, etc. Has that changed?
Burrow did not leave OSU empty handed he also left with a bachelors degree and when he was done at LSU he walked away with his Masters degree so the kid is also smart
The Bengals should be right back in this thing next year. They need a few key pieces (OL, LB among them), but...that offense is gonna be an absolute machine for years to come.
@@tonymanero5544 Not necessarily a lock to be back in the Super Bowl -- but right back in serious contention for it. The Chiefs were one win away from back-to-back SB appearances. That's kinda what I'm getting at here. The Bengals should be the favorites in the AFC North for the foreseeable future.
There was at least one Bengals fan wearing his jersey at the LA game…Chad Lowe. He posted his video reaction of the game winning kick to his social media page
This has been the most unexpected playoffs imaginable after you got the wild card duds tossed out. I have to think, though, that fans of all other teams legit were cheering for the Bengals out of love for a hapless franchise who suddenly got their act together. And I also think it's essentially a coin toss as to who wins it all in the superbowl. Each team has a ton of reasons why they could win or lose. And since I'm a Seattle fan who isn't going to cheer for the Rams: GO BENGALS!!!
Question -What do the following teams have in common Bills, Dolphins, Jets, Raiders, Chargers, Browns, Texans, Jaguars, Washington, Rams, Cardinals, 49ers, Vikings, Bears, Lions, Buccaneers, Panthers Answer - over the past 20 seasons, all of these 17 teams have made the playoffs FEWER TIMES THAN THE BENGALS. The Bengals haven’t won playoff games, but they had successful seasons. They won with average quarterbacks but good rosters. They are a middle of the pack, or slightly better team. SHUT UP with the ignorant narrative that they are this forever forlorn franchise that has just now miraculously emerged. It’s crap.
As a Bengals fan for my entire 29 years of life I still cant believe this dream season we are having. Time for Joe and the boys to give us 1 more amazing memory and win the Super Bowl
Thank you Rich for giving us our proper credit! Everyone bets against us, and then regrets doing so….Burrow was dead serious when he said “We’re here to make noise, and we’re coming for it all” WHO DEY!
As a patriots fan I want to congratulations to the Bengals and the LA rams 🐏🙏for going to the super bowl game. I hope whoever wins 🏆the game that these players enjoy your moments because you have earned them 👍. Good luck to both teams
Been a Bengals fan my whole life. I suffered for years and years watching this team disappoint. It's hurt and it's been hard. It's an amazing feeling to see your team, the team you love and root for and invest time and money into succeed and make it to the Suoer Bowl. Joe Sheisty is already a legend in Cincinnati and don't think this is a 1 and done. We coming to WIN the Super Bow not only this year but every year Joe Brrr is our QB I think we gave a legitimate shot to win it all. Who Dey!
I'm happy to see the Bengals and the fair city of Cincinnati make it to the Super Bowl. I have no rooting interest in either team except that I am an AFC guy. But this seems like a great match up and I hope that whichever team that comes out of it with the Lombardi does it showing their best and we have a SB with no controversies.
As a Saints fan, feel very happy for the Bengals. Happy for Tre, Von and even Eli. But more than anything happy for Burrow. He came back stronger than never after blowing his knee. The kid’s special.
And this is what the NFL has over CFB at the moment: There are no rankings to try to impress a voter over. The only thing that matters is the W. No worries about margin of victory, or "the team was ranked when we played them, but we're getting punished because they ended up being bad." Just wins and losses. That other stuff matters for tie breakers, but most of the time just the wins will do, especially if you've got the win over the team you're tied with. If the Bengals end up winning, it won't matter the teams they beat to get there. It won't matter that they had to squeak out them all and maybe didn't play a complete game for the entire 60 minutes in any of them. Records only matter to determine who you play and where. Everyone starts at zero again, and anyone can catch the magic and make a run. This team believes what they're saying about themselves, and they play like it. Burrow's hatred of being called an underdog is great. They finally conquered their divisional demons in Baltimore and Pittsburgh, they finally got the one-and-done playoff monkey off their backs, and they've got both a QB and a kicker that the whole team and coaching staff believes in. You can win with that. Go Bengals. Get that ring the franchise was so close to getting against Montana.
Andy Dalton has more game winning drives than Aaron Rodgers…. Actually I think they may be tied now. Nope Dalton has one more. Not saying Dalton is great just saying how Rodgers is not clutch when down in the 4th
I’m a Brady fan and just wanted the Chiefs to lose out of spite. Burrow could be in the conversation for goat some day but it helped push down Mahomes for the foreseeable future.
I think that so far this has been like a Hollywood move for the Bengals. Rookie quarterback coming back from a season long injury. Going up a against Titans and taking 9 sacks. Going into arrowhead stadium, being down 18 points coming back to get into overtime, losing the coin toss in overtime but still overcoming. Everyone is forgetting that it is the year of the tiger. Coincidence maybe? Stay safe from Newfoundland
If you watched what he did to Alabama's, Oklahoma's and Clemson's defense en route to winning the National Championship at LSU, you knew Joe Burrow was as much of a lock as a franchise QB as Peyton Manning was coming out of Tennessee.
The Bengals winning was the best-case scenario for the NFL. I feel like there would've been a general let-down if this insane season ended with the Chiefs just rolling through everyone to the Super Bowl again. (Jets fan, for the record, who watches the postseason rooting for the underdogs and longtime sufferers and hopes for good games)
I'm Going with the Cincinnati Bengals to upset the rams here's why I think Joe Burrow will be the bengals win their first super bowl believe me it's Going to happen that's why I'm rooting for them to win it all
This Bengals roster is stocked with talent. This team is primed to be very good for many years to come. The NFL just woke up, and is taking notice of the Bengals.
I'm happy for everyone involved and all possible scenarios. Stafford deserves it more than just about anyone that's every played, and if Cincy wins that team/city and these players deserve it too.
@@alanbeckham9093 I’m right there with you. Diehard Dallas fan getting used to Jerry Jones being the drunk Uncle that ruins the holidays for me every year.
Any team, even Detroit.. But you gotta get lucky enough with that QB and how soon the Lions can work that out again remains TBD.. They're playing hard though, so that's a good start
I'm a Ravens fan, but I have to admit. No QB has ever won the Heismann, National Title and Super Bowl. Joe Burrow is about to do it in two years.................... off of a shredded knee.............. for the Cincinnati Bengals. Words can't begin to describe the full magnitude of what that would mean if he accomplishes it.
Comeback Player of the Year, the question is, if MVP was awarded after the Super Bowl and if the Bengals win, would Joe Burrow have won it? The kid is amazing.
As a Buckeye I despise your Alma Mater, but thank you for not doubting this team. Every pundit I hear gives way too little credit to these guys. WHO DEY!
Chinese year of the Tiger. Bingles win it all. China #1 America #6 with fries. Who dey say gun beat joe burrow. Like a groundhog in heat joe gonna beat that meat. Ya herd????
Joe is a different kinda QB. His demeanor is veteran. His talent is off the charts. He is A NFL QB of the highest level so young. If he stays healthy look out AFC. And if the owners starts spending some money like a SB contender has to do. The sky is the limit. And Bradford can fall apart at any moment. So this is far from a sure thing LA. Show some respect!! Your going to need your A game to win in my opinion.
The Chiefs got cocky and complacent. Didn't make adjustments and the Bengals did. Now Tyreek Hill can give them deuces to the Superbowl this year while he's sitting in a high chair watching it
Who knew I'd be eating big time crow by the end of the year. Browns fan and I predicted big things and the Bengals probably in last place. I'll not make predictions in the future.
Congratulations to the Bengals and Joe Burrow... That thumbnail, though... He looks like a make a wish kid with that t-shirt over his pads, the only thing missing is a helmet....
I'll admit...I have issues with the NFL, but the way this year's playoffs went down for me, and getting my Rams-Bengals Super Bowl...Still got a little love for the NFL, really because they're the only big-time pro football league in the country. They give me the football I crave every fall & early to mid winter. Chiefs/Rams would have been an awesome Super Bowl, but best of luck to the Bengals, so LETS GO RAMS. Good video Rich. Loved the Airplane reference! "The fogs getting thicker, and Leons getting LARGER!" LMAO Sorry to all the Leons out there.
