CANTO 2023, a multilingual multicultural international travelling poetry festival, was held across New Delhi and Kolkata from 15th to 19th March 2023.
This session featured Vivek Narayanan, renowned poet & scholar, in conversation with Lina Ferreira Cabeza-Vanegas, translator, scholar & faculty at U.Chicago, where they discussed spoke about the multiplicity of the Ramayana's epic tradition, the contradictions between 'tradition' & 'experimentation', and the revelations brought forth by a critical & close reading of the Ramayana.
