Corporate tax hurts the poor the most. Corporations are pieces of paper, they pass the cost of tax hikes not consumers by raising prices or cutting lower rank worker wages. It does nothing to lower executive salaries. I the aim is to reduce executive salaries and bonuses, the government has to introduce new laws governing fair share of profits to workers, say based on labour time. (Since one full time worker cannot possibly be working less than three times the hours of an executive, the worker should never receive a wage less than a third of the executive's wage).

Not as easy as that. Economic 101, multinational corporations have offshore operations to cut cost n make the goods cheaper. If not, how can they compete globally. Many goods are imported from China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Pakistan, Thailand, etc. , etc are cheaper. They support American std of living. Without them, the cost of living is expensive n many Americans will live in poverty. So, do you want cheaper goods or high cost of living? And. with anti-China rhetoric, the US started a trade war imposing import tariffs. This resulted in more expensive cost of living n push down the US std of living. So, you cannot imposed high taxes on corporations bcos the taxes get passed to consumers indirectly thru import tariffs or production cost. Corporations cannot make goods in US bcos the labor cost is too high. That's why manufacturing jobs go off shores. US rising poverty traps US cost of living.

We absolutely need to start supporting third parties. I suggest joining one of the third parties as they are at the forefront of transforming our democracy into one that can handle having more than just two corporate capitalist parties.

Back in 2000 I got bashed by my Democrat family and friends for voting Green . That benefits the people working for the company, and benefits everyone using the infrastructure. Taxing corporations (which are just pieces of paper) hurts consumers the most. If the aim is to reduce executive salaries taxes will not do it, there must be explicit laws governing fair share of profits going to workers. If that were done paying corporations to build infrastructure will benefit workers and consumers and not disproportionately enrich the executives.

I have been begging Americans to vote third party for over 22 years now ... I keep telling them nothing will change as long as the two-headed Beast is running the show and the only way to kill it or at least to injure it is the third party preferably Green ... it's almost impossible to get through to people who keep adhering to the argument that it's a vote thrown away .
