“Will Only a Few Be Saved?” 

Sometimes we make salvation sound difficult to achieve.But Christ made it available for even a small child to understand.Have faith and trust in Christ. When you fall and you will many times in life ask His forgiveness. You cannot follow the law, it's impossible. But in your heart you will not want continuous sin in your life. Jesus have mercy on us all who are seeking Heaven.

I have tarnished my salvation from time to time! let my flesh over power my faith!, Not proud of that; I repent to my father in heaven in Jesus name!

Wow this hits home. Especially around 35th minute. I believe God has been talking to me about this. Even in dreams where I am unprepared for school, or I can't find my class, or the exam is coming up and I haven't studied, there has also been a repeating dream about driving without insurance. I haven't been listening. Please pray for me.

The verse Philippians 2:12- work out your salvation with trembling and fear has always reminded me of the ferocity of Elohims holiness. It rightfully scares me when i think of this verse. Yes saved, but do not take it for granted and think i can willfully sin.

Matthew 7:21: "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."

I find it interesting that you have 102k subscribers and only 992 views; of those views-only 40 people have ‘liked’ this incredible message. This observation belies exactly what your message is conveying. You are an excellent preacher, Pastor Baig.

We are instructed to "rightly divide" the scriptures (2 Tim 2:15 KJB). This man is not rightly dividing but rather conflating. Jesus wasn't speaking to those in the dispensation of grace in the gospels. He was speaking to national Israel under the prophetic Law program. God instructed them to keep the Law. We are not under the Law. We are under grace. They were in a process of "being saved" whereby they had to "endure unto the end." We have a PRESENT POSSESSION of salvation, Romans 5:11 KJB. We MUST rightly divide prophecy from mystery doctrine, law and grace, Israel and the church the body of Christ. In this current grace dispensation we get our doctrine from our apostle (Paul) in Romans through Philemon. Hebrews is written to the remnant of believing Israel, the "Little Flock" spoken of in Luke 12:32 KJB. The Hebrew epistles which follow Philemon are for the LF to help them get through the tribulation period - Daniel's seventieth week.

I have heard many pastors that make salvation so hard. They dismiss what they call the Roman Road. I have heard that you are saved and can ve unsaved based on works. I have never read anything like that in thr Bible. There are some old hellfire and brimstone pastors still around. I don't fault them for it. I just don't agree. I believe we will be surprised how many people will be in heaven we would never have believed. Only God knows the heart of manm

"The 'evidence' of our salvation is that we make every EFFORT along the journey of our lives? No, no, no! This preaching is concerning Israel's prophetic program under the Law where Israel had to "endure unto the end" (Mark 13:13 KJB). Since Acts 9 when the resurrected, glorified Lord Jesus Christ appeared to Saul of Tarsus on the road to Damascus, we have been living in the dispensation of grace. (Please see Ephesians 3:1-9 KJB, "For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you GENTILES, If ye have heard of the DISPENSATION OF THE GRACE OF GOD, which is given ME to you-ward: How that by REVELATION he made known unto ME (not the 12 apostles) the MYSTERY; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand MY KNOWLEDGE in the MYSTERY of Christ) which in other ages was NOT MADE KNOWN...That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body...Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto ME by the effectual working of his power. Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach AMONG the GENTILES the UNSEARCHABLE riches of Christ; and to make all men see what is the fellowship of the MYSTERY, which from the beginning of the world hath BEEN HID in God..." Christ told the twelve NOT to go to the Gentiles but rather to go to the lost sheep of THE HOUSE of ISRAEL. In Matthew 10:5-6 Jesus makes that perfectly clear. Jesus told them to preach the gospel of the kingdom - they did NOT preach the cross for salvation. "...Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the LOST SHEEP of the HOUSE of ISRAEL. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give." (Matthew 10:5a-8). That is NOT the preaching of the cross (which was committed to our apostle Paul - the apostle of the Gentiles - for the dispensation of grace. Romans 11:13, "For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office." Our gospel today under grace is found in I Corinthians 15:1-4 KJB where we are told how that Christ died for our sins, and that he was buried, and that he rose again three days later. All for our justification. According to Ephesians 1:13 KJB, when you hear this gospel and believe it, you are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise and are eternally saved. Apostle Paul called "the preaching of the cross" (DBR) gospel "my gospel" three times in the scriptures: Romans 2:16 KJB, Romans 16:25 KJB, and 2 Timothy 2:8 KJB. The twelve apostles preached Israel's earthly kingdom gospel and Paul preached the heavenly church the body of Christ gospel.

Excellent teaching of God’s Word……Truth!

This sermon was, as per this my favorite of speakers, calling to me. Everytime I listen here I learn a new bit of Gods redeeming Grace. Am I at the door answering Jesus call, going in before the door closes. Forbid that I slumber & let my lamp go out so stumble to find the door closed. I want, more than ever, of all, to hear His wondrous voice calling me so I never lose my direction. The prayer was so perfect for my ears. He's calling us, we just need to answer that call right when we hear it. No excuses. No waiting. Just go, go, go!

"many will be called...." from pulpits, from the prophets, from street corners, from radio, from youtube....and many will not come to Him through that one narrow door--He is the ONE true Gd and our Savior. Many will come to investigate and leave without His mercy or after second thought later return, and find the door has been shut. Thank you O Lord for your mercy and grace and Your Word. amen.

This sermon, sadly, brings to mind Calvinists. They believe they are chosen and, I assume from their teaching, they have an 'in' to heaven. The hubris of this belief goes, directly, against the Scripture.

What a great perspective on the subject of the narrow door. Recently an aquaintence dropped dead at 53 years old. Hadn't been to church for 8 years. The unfortunate thing is did anyone from the church approach him to return? I don't know and if not I am going to look into our work with those who have walked away before it's too late.

Whats shocking is how many hear this, and do not know it speaks of them.

I sure wish I could sit under a shepherd like Alister Begg. I want to make sure I'm making every effort to follow Jesus as Lord. I have a understanding that salvation is only given to those who run the race according to Gods Rules. I fear one of the greatest things in America is that. Many CHRISTIANS who started out in the FAITH. Will because of various reasons. Not enter in because they didn't take Jesus and salvation by way of the cross seriously. Unfortunately the theory of ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED. Also The PROSPERITY Gospel to name a few. Have caused many CHRISTIANS to become deceived and lose out with God. We are made partakers of salvation provided we hold fast to our hope in Christ. Steadfast to the end. Unfortunately in America those who claim to be " Prophets " are not warning us Gods people concerning. Sin and repentance from sin. Preparing us for Jesus return. But rather. Pointing us to Trump and making America great again. I'm going to be Frank. God has raised up these false Prophets to test us. To see where our hearts are with him and we know it not. Nevertheless this is true.

Why dwelve into the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ to Israel. Why not focus on the Gospel of Grace in Romans thru Philemon. The Kingdom belongs to the Jews UNDER THE LAW. His crucifixion abolished the law.

Jesus didn't die on the cross for everyone who believes in him. He taught that obedience is required to enter his kingdom: Matthew 12:46-50 says: "While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.” He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” Jesus also warned: Matthew 5:30 "And if your right hand causes you to stumble, (sin) cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell."

"Will there be only a few saved" 1 Peter 3:20 KJV - Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. Matthew 7:14 KJV - Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew 22:14 KJV - For many are called, but few are chosen. 2 Peter 1:10 KJV - Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: Luke 17:33-36 (KJV) 33Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. 34I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 35Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 36Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Jesus told us the narrow way to have everlasting life. Remember what the man on the middle cross told the thief? Not your human efforts or works. But make every effort of faith and not works to believe on Jesus Christ to be saved and not trust anything else! John 5:24 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 6:47 47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

I love Allistair Begg's teaching style, but I'm not sure I fully understand what he is saying about salvation in this video. What I am getting is that our salvation is entirely from God, but then it is up to us to "strive" for that salvation for it to be ultimately effective for glory. If that is what he's saying, then it would seem Allistair doesn't believe in being sealed in the Spirit (2 Cor. 1:21-22). If we arrive in Heaven after this "striving', it would seem to me that we do indeed have something to pat ourselves on the back for. Yes, we were running from God and He caught us and gave us faith to believe, but we took it from there and made it effective, no? I believe that when God catches us, He gives a new heart, one that, unlike before, WANTS to please Him. It's that desire to do God's will that enables us to do His will. God's word does not return to Him void. If we do stray on occasion, God will gently bring us back, because it was His doing that saved us and His plans are never thwarted. My understanding is that those who, like Judas, do not do God's will after an initial profession of faith, were not saved from the beginning. They were not made a new creation and did not have a heart for God, so the old man continued to dominate their actions. Anyway, that's how I see it and I hope I accurately assessed Allistair's teaching.
