I think that is a very proper way to view the Lord. Placing importance upon the Lord for our every need, or more importantly ascribing worthiness to the Lord in our hearts is correct. I would say it this way, there isn't anything expensive enough that we could give him in return that is worthy of him. Not that i like to suffer in any way, but if i did suffer for him according to his will, then it is a privilege. People need to realise that Jesus is worthy of all his worship.

Satan does not even stop with completely absurd / laughable lies cuz he cannot help himself- I had reason for revenge in my life strong reasons ! My faith kept me from doing it and then God did it - he solved a great pain and spiritual problem for me ! This is the huge Grace of the living god ! How can I betray him ?

Read God's word from His book, not macarthurs. There's a church that teaches God's word chapter and verse called the Shepherds chapel on youtube. You'll learn God's word, not a mans. Christ wrote in Mathew 24:24 : "false Christ's and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive". In 25 He said "See, I have told you before-hand". Oh the problems with making a theology out of one verse. Jesus existed in the form (morphe) of God and took the form (morphe) of a servant and was found in fashion as a man and became obedient to death (Phil 2:5-11) and tasted death for every man (Hebrews 2:9). It must have been a tough experience for his humanity knowing that he would taste death for everyman: in order to redeem man from the power of death. It must have been tough for his humanity to lay down his life for all mankind. Essentially, the creator Jesus Christ (1 Cor 8:6) lovingly chose the way of suffering as an act of love to save his creation and as such is worthy for all praise and worship before the cross, during the cross and especially after the cross. No greater love does man have than giving his life for his friends (John 15:13). He is worthy as creator because of his greater love and love is sacrifice.

But Jesus did not appear to the Twelve did he. There were only Eleven - Judas had gone off and died by this point and it's before Matthias is appointed as his replacement. So if Paul was claiming that he received his gospel directly from Christ through revelation - there are only two options; 1. Jesus got it wrong and told Paul that there were Twelve instead of Eleven; OR 2. Paul is not receiving his gospel from Christ as he claims. I don't think anybody believes that Jesus got it wrong - so that rules 1. out. I think when a person is new to the faith, or actually anyone, it is essential to have a study Bible or some kind of Commentary to help understand what is being written. At 67 I listen almost daily to different sermons and videos about Christ and the Bible and so very often I still don't understand. I'm so glad you could help him with this.

MacArthur is about as “Christian” as you are. He is a fraud. Jesus says - You know a tree by its fruit. He quotes scripture but speaks poorly about other Christians in a judging manner. The devil does that too. Be careful- Jesus will use your own yardstick on you.

None of those who take the mark of the beats goes to heaven. Only those go to heaven who receive the seal of God. Those who worship God will receive the seal of God, and those who worship the beast and his image will receive the mark of the beast. "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." (Revelation 12:17, KJV)

I don't think you can take the Mark of the beast and be saved!
