QI is a piece of it, but pales in comparison to the impact of their near immunity to any criminal charges due to the fact that their co-workers have monopolized all access to criminal indictments. So long as these cabals are able to decide whether or not to bring charges on themselves and their foot soldiers, there will be no improvement and things will get worse.
Educating very few people and government employees/public servants that even when educated willfully ignore and disregard the law and their new education of the law. 99% will still break the law after these interactions bc why wouldn't they? There are no consequences. Therefore why would they follow the law?
If TTA asked the Sargant what the five elements to the first amendment are, he would say "I am busy with something else right now, but I know what they are."
Crazy how cops aren't even taught these things in this modern high tech day and age! It will be great when this is all common knowledge. That cop's smug smile at 23:00 was so cringe. When you really think about it, a camera is basically no different than a human set of eyes (without the zoom function). Crazy how the guy at the end had to "spin" the narrative about the "red tape" to preserve his ego and maintain the illusion that he was right. It appears that "making women uncomfortable" is the scourge of our times!! lol.
So amazingly consistent that it cannot be happenstance. These are exactly the enforcers they want, and they are doing exactly what they are expected to do.
No they know they just don’t like ceding power to citizens that’s why eventually they kicked rocks after being so confident that they were gonna get their way. It’s just unusual for average citizens to not obey so a part of it is ego that drives these decisions to continue trying to get the best of you
@@shaystern2453it has worked for the last 100 years here in ignorant America. The police are still using the same playbook to attempt to violate our 4th amendment rights. Since they swore an oath to uphold the constitution it should be a violation to ask a law abiding citizen for their personal information more than once. Cops should be informing people of their rights but instead they hope the public is ignorant of their rights, sadly most Americans are still are unaware of their rights. The public school system has successfully kept most of us in the dark as they intended.
I truly appreciate what you do, James. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you are one of my absolute favorite 1A auditors because of your patience, your knowledge of our Constitutionally-protected rights and your ability to calmly articulate those rights, and I admire your professionalism, even when police and public servants are acting extremely *unprofessional.* What you, and others who do what you do absolutely *DOES* make a difference...maybe not everywhere, and maybe not all at once, but little by little, more and more public servants are getting educated.
The post master needs to be held accountable for not properly training their employees. Whoever trained these officers needs to be held accountable as well. Just way too much ignorance among public sector employees.
There is no lesson for them to learn. There are no consequences. The system is operating as intended. Your opinion of how it "should" be is irrelevant. The system is what it is.
Those cops are playing a dangerous game , indoctrinated to do anything to get their I.D. fix , but liable to violate 4 th amendment right. All it takes is a good attorney to take it on , strip the cop of qualified immunity and sue him personally. Pignorance is no excuse.

He wants to leave an extra lasting impression on the cops to give them the most dramatic WALK OF SHAME possible. The more the cops feel a certain type of way the more they know who is their real BOSS! Example is when TTA goes to talk to the Police Chief to have a dialogue and ask that ALL the police department receive training on the First Amendment because we all know they need more education.

Pitiful! Even the Sargent is a disgraceful LEO. Violating rights for decades!! The camera is the equalizer and they hate it. I can only imagine what they said behind the scene. Thanks TTA! That poor policeman is 'outgunned'. Firstly he has ZERO authority to even be in the post office UNLESS his department has a special contract with the United States Postal Service. Secondly, he doesn't listen AT ALL. A very poor behavior for a LEO to exhibit. Thirdly, it's a FEDERAL FACILITY and a customer cannot be trespassed. Fourthly, protection of private information is NOT required by someone exercising their First Amendment right! That protection is the sole and total responsibility of the U. S. Postal facility! Both LEO's and Postal people NEED to be educated! They are woefully ignorant and completely inadequate to deal with the inalienable rights of we, the people!

Just tried to call the police department and was told "They don't take complaints over the phone, and I'd have to come down to the police station". NOT A CHANCE IN HELL! Your officer can't comprehend a poster! How the **** can he comprehend THE LAW?????
Those employees are just salty because they know they’re wrong, but they won’t admit it. They will never admit it. Their ego got a hold of them. Their pride won’t let it go.

Apparently this Postmaster did not get the memo from USPS Postal Inspection Service dates 24 Aug 2022 on how to deal with people filming. It states; #1 "Don't insist they stop filming or state they're violating the law." #3 "Don't demand that they leave the premises." There are other points and it falsely states the intentions of a 1st Amendment Auditor but the message to employees is clear. Let citizens film and leave them alone unless they are disrupting business or obviously trying to capture personal information. "...only call 911 if there are immediate safety or security concerns." This Postmaster should do her job properly and read memo letters from her superiors.
I hope you file a complaint on both officers. One is a loose cannon just waiting to violate somebodies rights, the other is an ID addict. Both are uneducated and unprofessional.
