As a healthcare professional. It really irks my soul when healthcare workers don't understand HIPPA, especially when it's required to relearn it yearly. HIPAA only applies to healthcare workers or healtcare contractors. I really wish I was present when situations like this happen to so could truly educate people like this, as a healthcare professional.

So, no one talks about this. I have done a bunch of audits but the government can definitely limit your ability to film and protest etc on their property. Look into US v. Kokinda

I find it rather disgusting that the lady was informed by the FIRST SERGEANT that you have a right to record them in the course of their duties, and she called again and it took another phone call for her to get the message. The bald cop was definitely a tyrant too.

Unfortunately, that was the argument a lawyer for a police department argued in PA to a state judge and the judge ruled that citizens cannot record in the lobby of police departments. Thus, many other cities/PD across the country have pointed to that ruling to support their reason of preventing people from recording in police lobbies.

Coming back to this video, I’m thinking like if I have an appointment to be here. Say for instance, I walk into the building and asked if I could disclose my sensitive information privately. These employees wouldn’t even do that for me, they would instead argue I surrender my SENSITIVE information In PUBLIC just so they wouldn’t have to get up and open a few doors. The staff in this DHS office is stupid for the world to see 👀 and I'm so happy to share it on multimedia. This was a truly great audit. This office failed 3 times in the same day! I guess truly stupid can't be fixed, but it can be sued.

So the last sergeant female sergeant did an excellent job and honoring in her oath. This is the sergeant and leadership ships. We need at the top level to be professional and to honor their oath. Again, James, another job well done auditing the DHS department. More education needs to be done. And I know you have a long road ahead of you, James. And all the other first amendment auditors that are out there fighting for our rights I want to say thank you to all of you out there working hard for us.

Glad that TTA had been there. Learned how our First Amendment works anywhere that's public. That it's not their building. It belongs to the people. The public. The TAXPAYERS that PAID for that building. Same thing with their police department. It's NOT their police department ; it's belongs to the TAXPAYERS.

Great job James! It's like a lawyer once told me. A homeowner can't just post a sign on their lawn that says " Not responsible for injuries that may occur on this property " . You can put that sign up everywhere, but if someone is walking across your lawn and breaks their ankle in a pothole, you better have good homeowners insurance! Because you're getting ready to pay out to the injured person! Ha ha ha
