I feel like this should be a HOI4 achievement. Also it's ironic to hear such a song sang to the melody of Russian "Широка страна моя родная" while also using plenty of Indo-European loanwords which I can recognise in the lyrics (muuri, riik, ruumi, tipus, aktid...).

The word partisan is associated with communist war criminals here in Finland but I guess the forest brothers can fairly be called anti-communist partisans, however weird that sounds to me.

The Soviet communist party insisted that such people are to be regarded as some kind of heroes but most normal people would not see it like that.
By the way, most people in the West do not know the history of Eastern Europe. But Vilnius fought many wars for the subjugation of Russia against Moscow in the 14th century. Попытались наступать на Петроград - отхватили от практически никак не организованной красной армии. Пытались выслужиться перед немцами во второй раз - тоже не вышло - хозяину не нужна была ещё одна собачка... Такие дела...
@@funnyclown9138 В первой мировой мы почти не участвовали, у нас была война за независимость, в которой мы кстати даже почти всю Латвию заняли, часть современной Псковской и почти всю Ленинградскую область, если бы не подкрепления большевикам, мы бы и Петроград бы взяли. Ну и с немцами мы в Литве воевали и вполне успешно кстати. Во второй мировой.. ну.. сил не хватило бы сражаться с СССР, дак зачем было прям уж сопротивляться? С немцами мы не особо дружили, мы надеялись, что Гитлер подарит свободу Балтийским странам, но он этого не сделал. Лесные братья и с немцами сражались и с советами. А ещё большая часть Эстонцев сражалась в рядах красной армии, против фашизма. Эстонцы брали Берлин!
