Phil ruined his children's lives and he basically shrugs it off, cause he got his petty revenge (or so he thinks). Ben and Louise should just cut all ties with him.
Yeah I really think he should because Phil even said Ben hasn't been this happy since Paul. And that half-assed apology it clear he doesn't understand how he feels or if he does he knows that Callum can't know about this and just doesn't care anymore.
Not gonna lie - when Ben went to answer the door and his shocked expression was shown, my heart skipped a beat because I thought Callum was at the door. Was pretty disappointed when it turned out to be Martin, haha.
Gaby Bladen I thought the same thing but I realized when Callum returns he’s not gonna go looking for Ben, if anything Ben is the one who humiliated Callum he needs to apologize to him not the other way around. Next week is going to be awesome!!

I actually do feel a bit sorry for Ben's date. Talk about bad timing. He obviously was interested in Ben but yeah he's hurting too much for any real connection right now.
Keep in mind; Ben is Callum's first. That "FIRST" has a life-long effect on us. We never forget them. And he is right in the middle of it. We know how much Callum loves Ben, and it is clear from Callum's relationship history, Callum is the kind of man who loves loyally and deeply. Callum can't just walk away from Ben...even though he may feel like he is forced to try. Callum is Ben's island of peaceful retreat, his "normal" in a chaotic life, and his emotional rock. Callum changes Ben, if only for moments at a time. When love makes you want to be better...it is a profoundly life-changing love...unconditional and sacrificial. What the two of them have is even stronger than what Ben and Paul had. Is Ben good for Callum? NO. But when did anyone ever chose what is good and maybe best for them, over what makes them feel good and fulfilled; someone they are madly in love with? It's called being a fool for love. And Ben and Callum are fighting nature...not an easy task. Who knows where this Callum/Ben love will take them. We can be sure that the journey will be tumultuous and long, peppered with hurts and disappointments, filled with conflict, and hopefully choked-full of times of passion and sweet tender moments of love. And that folks is why all of us Ballum lovers will tag along for the crazy ride. C'mon, we all want that happy-ever-after, no matter how Disneyland it sounds.
I'd argue that Ben IS good for Callum. Without him, Callum wouldn't have become the man he is. And he made him happier than he's ever been, he supported him. The breakup was harsh, but their relationship was great.
"...fighting nature..." in that they (Ben) is trying to push Callum out of his life. and Callum is trying to do what Ben wants. But I don't think they can stay away from each other. They have a magnetism and chemistry that fires their attraction. I'm glad you don't think it is to Disneyland. Neither do I. I am a romance novelist, and Happily-ever-afters, are my specialty. Life just has to much hurt and pain. in it the world needs more happy endings, and knights in shining armor. So after months of will they-won't they, they finally give us Ben and Callum as a proper couple only to separate them within weeks! They couldn't even give us their first Christmas together before starting all the separation drama!

I disagree with most people here Ben is an adult and he needs to grow up. Callum stood up to his homophobic father. People making excuses for Ben he is in his 20s now. When is Ben ever responsible for his behaviour? Ben was cruel to Callum. I certainly hope Callum is not a doormat when he comes back on screen on Monday.
JordanjamesX he broke up with him to protect him. And anyone who has ever had a father like Phil will understand that it's not so easy to walk away. Ben will have to make his own decision yes, but Phil is an awful parent who has all but destroyed his children.
I REALLY want to get into this show 😩. I don’t think I’ll be able too. It seems like there will be no happy ending between Ballum at all and that sucks. No gay couple last in soaps and I don’t understand why that is.
Júlia Oliveira-Rebić : Im a previous #RobRon Fan, so familiar with emmerdale, the others, not at all unfortunately. I just don’t get it because it’s like, at least with EastEnders and Emmerdale (only speaking on these because I’ve at least seen episodes) there’s already SOO much damn drama in the show already, why can’t you just let the couple be happy, you know. It’s like why do you need there to be drama in every facet of these peoples lives. That’s what’s the most just unreal and frustrating part. It’s too much, at least in my view. I just don’t like the constant break up to make up just to break up to make up again thing.
