I’ve got a friend who’s a pro dancer for Taylor swift ‘s world tour, won SYTYCD etc and had hip surgery before the age of 30. Pro dancers go hard. That’s why it’s impressive.

I’ll admit it…I was one of those people who used to think Pauls Abdul wasn’t that talented, in the early 1990s (I was a kid…kids can be cruel and think they know everything). Now that I see Paula WOW a big auditorium full of people, here, I get why her videos seemed overacted: Paula Abdul’s early influences were stadium and stage performers, not video vixens. It’s not easy to command the attention of thousands of people, live on stage, or even move such that they can see what you’re doing. Old school artists, like her, had to be be able to do that! 90s dance was all about BIG moves. Michael Jackson. MC Hammer, Heavy D, and Paula Abdul all had a gift for these big stage, auditorium performances. That’s good company! It wasn’t supposed to be subtle.
