Well I am 1500 miles into a 2023 and already tearing into it. The pipe has been a debate since the opinions vary on the XXX and if it is to much pipe for a 114 with light mods. I think everyone has an opinion but few have actually used the pipe. So your experience is valued since it is real world. I wish I had the patience to video my work. I know it is a commitment. @@Gimps_Garage

@@chriscalabro yeah man. If the videos help at least one person. It was worth the investment of time and money. But I can assure you that you will absolutely love the jackpot system. I run the jackpot rtx mufflers and they work great together. Fuel moto is doing their garage sale right now. They had a set of rtx pipes on there for $350 yesterday. Normally $850. If they still have them, I would definitely buy them

I would’ve went with the Trask assault intake had they had a black one in stock when I was shopping around. The Arlen ness was my second choice. It’s worked really well so far.

I'm running a similar setup on my 114 SGS : Jackpot XXX with SE Street Cannons, HPi 62mm throttle body, and manifold. 5.5 injectors with a Fuel Moto PV4 tune with an S&S 475G cam chest kit. It sounds DEEP and as loud as I can stand. I bought the bike with the SE stage 2 447 "torque" setup. This is night and day stronger and pulls strong all the way past 6000rpm.

HPI is like a "work of art", that is a beautiful setup, did you go up in size on your fuel injectors? also, does it come together, the manifold and TB or did you buy them separately? thanks

The manifold and TB came together. I reused my injectors. Which are the 5.5. I may go to a set of 6.2’s. Haven’t decided yet. We’ll see what the Thundermax shows and if it needs more fuel output. But you’re correct, these throttle bodies are beautiful. It’s a shame that they’re hidden behind a breather.

Yeah. I just put my air cleaner back on. It matched up with it and it was a brand new air cleaner.

Yes. I would suggest it. It’s quite a bit more air than stock. It will require your AFR to be mapped accordingly. Especially going 58mm and up

Can you tell me how that Jackpot XXX is working for you? Did you find any loss of low end torque? Considering that pipe with RS 468 cam on 114.

It’ll run outstanding with that cam on a 114. I gained power and torque with the jackpot headpipe and jackpot rtx. Can’t recommend it enough. If you go to my last short I uploaded. You can hear it. Sounds really good too

They’re pretty Similair tbh. But the S&S 55mm one I originally bought, wasn’t machined nearly as well on the inside chamber as the HPI. I haven’t checked out the latest S&S versions for a few months.

I kept the same size injectors. But I put new ones in. It seems to run really well with the current air to fuel ratio.

You can choose between 58, 62 or 70.

Would there be any benefit going to a 58mm if the bike is just stock plus stage 1? Or would it make more sense to just go with a 55mm?

@@HDFXSB645 a 58mm will definitely have a noticeable impact. The plastic ones are junk. Even going to a ported and polished cnc 55mm you’ll notice a difference. If you go to a 58mm or above, you’ll need a tune. Because you’re altering and increasing your air intake ratio. But unless you’re planning on doing an upgraded breather, removing the oem headpipe / cat, you probably don’t need more air and a CNC’d 55mm will suffice. But if you plan on doing a big bore kit or stage 2 and up, definitely just pay once and do the 58mm. Hope that makes sense

The throttle body is built with the manifold on these HPI setups. But yes, if you go to a 58mm+ TB, the the manifold will need to match the size. As far as the breather, most of them are compatible with larger TB’s

Hard to say on exact numbers, because I did some other stuff to it. But there’s definitely a noticeable free up of power and probably 5-10HP gain.

Sadly only private sale will get you the big money on a bike. Dealerships will only give you what the bike is stock.

No. It was a 107. Bored to 114. If I had a 131, I would’ve went with the 64mm TB. The 58mm is perfect for up to 121/124” builds. I’m about to go up to a 124” in a couple months

@@Gimps_Garage Ahh. Thanks. I just recently came across your channel and haven’t had a chance to dive too deep into it yet. My 21’ Street Glide warranty recently came to an end and it’s time to go to work on it. I’m about to change the headers, fuel injectors, intake manifold, cam etc..

What do you mean by backing plate? This setup is the 58mm

@mrnonpc9885 oh gotcha. It’s the backplate that came with the Arlen ness. It mounts perfectly to the 58mm TB. Not sure the exact specs without looking them up
