Good evening Paulette and Tes, OOOoooo, this would make a lovely quilt for our sailors or Navy teams in the forces. This block reminds me of the sailor knots that we learned in the Brownies (Guides. Cubs, Scouts, all groups that are across the world for children ages 6 and upwards) and putting the blocks together would just make the ideal reward for our forces that keep us safe, where ever they may be. And Paulette, thank you for deliberating making the mistake just so that you could share and show us your great wee tip with the rubber. I have the chisel die with my Accuquilt Studio Cutter. Thinking I could enlarge this and use that die and some strip sets and really speed up the process. Thanks.
