I'd love to own one. It's great value and the crystal has some protection, unusual for standard Casios! The one you unboxed is my favourite colour, just enough silver and red contrasts to the black.

I have bought over 200 items from Ali over 7 years. 95% ok and happy at dirt cheap prices, but you need to be careful and put in the research. Ali is good at taking the side of buyers and refunds no problem

I’ve AE-1000,1100,1200.1300,1400,1500,3000. It’s a surprise that 1300 and 1500 aren’t Worldtime watches while the other 5 are ! The nick name for AE-1500 is “G Beater” ! I have a 6” wrist and I wear some beasts like AE-1500, 3000 and GD-400 comfortably !

I always put a screen protector on my watches. Even on mineral glass. Protection against damage and oleophobic layer!

You forgot to mention the main feature that's not available in any AE Series model and this watch has - The Timer with auto repeat function and the Snooze Alarm. Honestly this watch should be renamed to WS 1500 as they are the ones with these features and with dual time. ( All other AE series models I think has full world time and this one doesn't). Amazing review by the way

I had a comment from someone saying they had the negative, but wish they got the positive for the added visibility. I really like the light coloured one too! 👌 Another fellow commented to advise that he did a module swap between 2 of his AE-1500’s so that he had the light-coloured one with a positive display 😁🧠

Oh man, I really love the Casio WS-1700H 🤩 Have you seen my wrist check in the unboxing video here?: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eq7xMc1rKJM.html It might be a good idea to use this as a point of reference, compared to my 16.5cm Wrist. I have the sand colour one,you forget to mention it have a snooze alarm also when in the first alarm if you press adjust 2 times you turn on the snooze alarm and it has also a repeat timer funtion when in timer settings press light to turn on the repeat function

This is a good watch for a reasonable price. I got no problems with large watches cause i got large wrist but im become a gshock snoob, the resin crystal is a big no to me. Another good review my friend, waiting for the next!

I agree, David! Quite good value on this one, especially considering the extensive alarm functionality. 👌 Yeah, the crystal at this size really should have been upgraded to mineral glass. At this size, scratches are inevitable! You know what I don’t get? If the mineral glass is too expensive, why don’t Casio consider including a few screen protectors? If AliExpress can sell them for only $2, I’m sure Casio can produce them for cheaper 😁 Thanks for weighing in! 🙏

My brother has colourway number 2, the green works for him in person. He wears his very loosely, but the size works still, it's a fairly wearable piece. That crystal will get scratched, it's large and soft enough to make this unavoidable. With the 5 alarms, the first one also has a snooze function and the 00 option is the hourly chime. A negative of the timer is that you can only set it down to the minutes.

Very cool! 👌 I do quite fancy that colourway too 😎 That’s good to know. For myself, it was manageable but wasn’t as comfy as some of my other watches. Haha, indeed it will! I believe I’ve already picked up a scratch or 2. 🥲 If only I didn’t fumble all those screen protectors! 😅 Good stuff. I really made use of that snooze alarm, let me tell you! One of the most functional alarm integrations I’ve seen 👌 That’s unfortunate regarding the lack of seconds-accuracy for the timer. I am finding this to be a trend on timers with auto-repeat! It seems they can have one, but not the other. Perhaps it is to avoid people setting a 1-second timer on Auto-repeat, which would overwhelm it and drain the battery 😜🪫

@@goatreviews you would think so, but the B640W has an auto-repeating timer that can be set down to the seconds. When you loop a timer of 10 seconds or less, it simply beeps once. Besides, draining the battery in that way is user error and easy to resolve by changing it out.

Hi Stumble, while I don’t have 2 of those 3 watches mentioned to confirm this compatibility, I have checked with the AE-1200. My experience was that the module from the WS-1700H was unable to fit into this case. That being said, I have seen pictures from people who have done the switch, and when I asked they mentioned that they needed to trim down the faceplate in order to make it fit. So it can be done! But it will take a little bit of careful grinding of some material. I hope this helps! 🙏

Since you destroyed all 3 protective films, might as well be good. I recommend buying tempered glass instead. Offers infinitely tougher protection. Plus, it drastically minimize the chance of trapping air bubbles during installation. The resin glass is sunken in anyway. So the thickness of tempered glass won't be an issue.

Here goes a conversation…….. “ “Hey ! That’s a big & cool G you’re wearing!”….., “No. It’s not a G !”…… “What ? It’s not a G ? It puts Gs to shame ! Must be pricey right ?”……. “No. Not Pricey, much less than what a G costs !”……. “Really ? Yet again, it puts Gs to shame !, But should be much pricier than some popular Non-Gs right ?”…….. “No ! I paid just $20 for a brand new AE-1500 !”……. “What ! It puts Non-Gs also to shame !!” I gradually role up the sleeves on my other wrist on which I’m wearing AE-3000… Conversation that follows is for another day!!

Hahaha, I love it! 😂👌 This perfectly demonstrates how much value this watch offers for the price, and even resembles a G-Shock in appearance. We must remember though, it doesn’t have the mineral glass or shock resistance of one! 👀 Man, I must admit when you first mentioned the AE-3000 I figured you were joking by ‘doubling the size’ of the AE-1500, until I looked it up!!! 🤯 Very cool! 😎

Fits great on my 7 and a quarter in. wrist. I’ve had it for almost a year now ad I do wear it regularly. Mine still doesn’t have scratches on the acrylic. The bumps on the bezel seem to be doing a good job protecting it. I have the green one with positive display and extra long strap. I think a feature that is hidden is that it has auto repeat on timer. As to the AE no idea why it’s there. The WS line seems to be more consistent in that it apparently means Water Sports so they usually have at least a tide graph or fishing graph, things of that nature. A great way to check for hidden features is to go into diagnostics mode. You do that by pressing the adjust, mode and search buttons simultaneously. Then all lcd segments turn on and with that you can see all icons for features and know all the watch’s features.

Somehow I reach for youtube shorts. This is not good for health but I found a solution now. They dont recommend me ahorts on home page now I have a trick and today I didnt watch a single short 😎
