We used to have junk yards All Over America until the government bought them all up. " Cash for Clunkers" that screwed the people! Around 8 out of 10 junkyards disappeared after that! They still have a few junk yards here and there but Wow, it's nothing like it used to be!
Canada have added 10 more biomass wood pellets factory this yr they had 7 before this. They are tubes of people who pass the factory they are about 3 story high and about 1-2 footbay fields long of million of tree cut down waiting to be make into wood pellets for E.U power plants country. West souther USA the same about 25 factory. That is why lumber is super expensive now. Million of ton of forest trees are wasted
Fuck sake, the average ENGLISH person, not a Brit as you Canadians call us, drinks probably a couple of cups of tea a week. You are thinking of the Victorians that consumed tea like there was no tomorrow. Why is that so hard for you lot to understand? P.s. I know your likely an American, but a lot of us over here prefer to be called what we are.... English. So I thought I'd call you a Canadian :)
I bet if you go back to that Lake today there's not one log left in there! I hope a certain percentage was agreed upon before they started doing this at this Lake. The Wildlife in the area use these logs, along with fisherman. Besides the natural beauty of log sticking up out of the water. I'm not against login, but let's keep it to a percentage agreed upon in the area, by the public who owns the national parks!
Good point, I had not thought of this. I am thrilled that there is a way to harvest those trees tho, so many are seen in dead holes, or fire devastated areas. ❤️
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view!" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?
It's really freaking irritating when they play the same damn commercial twice!! And if you watch a lot of videos it appears they've only got one freaking commercial to play per day!! Maddening!!!
I hate to think what those sick ass Nazi sadist would have done with a couple of tools like these at their disposal. I think that I am feeling a little down today.
Especially if you watched Herbie or that scene from Brave Little Toaster... But as the narrator here said "It's not the end. It's a new beginning." Besides, think of how many other cars the crushed one helped fix with it's parts.
Sorry can't get behind this one on the sawfish video that's habitat for fish trees need to be harvested and managed that's why we have some places that are left alone for nature to take care of which usually get destroyed in a fire because there is too many ladder fuels and it gets up into the crowns and kills them all off as well as the undergrowth when you see it in real life it's quite irritating
Left alone these trees would break loose and clog up the turbines in the hydro-electric power plant. That would not be good if the power went out and my electric fish zapper quit workin'.
It’s better than deforestation because fish can form new habitats because they still have the space and the entire ocean. But land animals don’t have anywhere to go after deforestation and will be forced to enter cities where they are killed. So it’s better to use the sawfish.
It’s hardwood, so each one of those trees is worth at least $1000. If they have 37 bags, and they can cut each tree in 30 seconds, that’s a lot of money. A single black walnut tree can fetch as much as $20,000 because of the beauty of the grain and its hardness.
@@SheldonBeldon Plus they are old growth which makes them even more valuable. Not to mention that even though the water may preserve the wood that doesn't mean it doesn't have a desirable effect on the wood. These waterlogged logs are not going to be used for dimensional lumber, more likely they will end up in high end furniture, flooring, etc.
