Is this game like a free roam pvp multiplayer? , and by that I mean if you are exploring can you encounter other players? And can other players be hostile for no reason except for taking resources?

I Wounder if "Jimmy's" might be related to a Long time a go to the "Famous Test Driver" called the STIG!! you never got to see his Face because of the "Simpson Bandit Helmet" he always wore Racing and even not Racing! Running from multiple enemy fire on a straight line out in the open is not a good narrative design. The only thing it says is this: These characters have plot armors and we make it very clear.
I may have commented already. Either way, I've finished it. I loved it. Don't play video games which is funny since I grew up in the 80's in the video arcades.

yeah the money they get from people paying to get star citizen should be used on making more on game play and not on glossy videos of a game play that doesn't exist where is squadron 42 its been nearly 10 years waiting ????
You know if you spent more on the game and less time making these cinematic bogus films you actually might be further along the finishing said game. Don't get me wrong I like the game but this is a complete waste of time and money the game doesn't look like this it certainly doesn't function as you advertise maybe one day it will but if this latest patch is any indication. I'm in my forties now I'll be 80 before it ever gets finished
Now only if Star Citizen play as good as this CGI Video they made. only thing is missing is the Server lag and More Server lag. and the 30K then this video would be more like Star Citizen. But I do admit the Video is kewl.
Well they're talking about New Beginnings how about trying to actually put out a patch that works. Hate to say this but 3.17.4 with all of its problems I absolutely Miss. Because 3.17.5 you can't access elevators you cannot eat or drink it takes up 25 minutes to call your ship almost half of the ship kiosks to call a ship to a hanger is malfunctioning and the list goes on and on let's talk about the past and everything you've screwed up so far try patching all those broken problems out of the game and we'll talk
Great work on stitching together. Shame RSI didn't put the money they spent on these towards a decent project manager or two. Bloody game might actually be payable by now!

Yes, I'm a Kickstarter backer. Yes, I've spent a fair amount on this. BUT. This game should be avoided at all costs, as it is nothing more than a scam preying on the hopes and dreams of its players. All it's done is provide itself with an income from selling virtual ships for a game that barely works, has constant issues that haven't been fixed in years, falling through the floors to your death, unable to get out of the med beds on respawn, ships blowing up for no reason.etc. The game has yet to deliver on its promises, leaving many players feeling cheated and misled. The developers have shown a complete disregard for their customers, and their continued failure to deliver on their promises is unacceptable. Of course, there are the few who stand by the developers, mostly the ones who've paid out considerable amounts for virtual ships and have dug themselves so deep into this virtual shamble of worthlessness, that it would look like folly to drop out now. hook line and sinker for most of them and I feel sorry for their sheer blindness to the scam. And now watch and wait, for the deluge of hate that I'll get from posting this. I won't care, as I won't be reading this video post again.
I am just showcasing good cinematics, what people do with that is entirely up to them. The game is genuine and playable albeit in early access as it has been for years granted. Calling this game a scam is merely a matter of opinion
