This could be the biggest haul of the year. How one small ad on craigslist can generate so much business for re-sellers. Follow me on / craigslisthunter If you enjoy my videos please SUB
I find him as a con artist, always telling sellers that the items they bring in "aren't worth anything" or "its tough to sell with little interest" etc. then after he pays extremely low prices, he gloats afterwards about he can make a big amount of $$$
one of the first things he said is he never collected this stuff to sell... 15:08 look at his smile when Pete said "lets go" 2 collectors meeting here...
He spent 10 times that to buy all of it. However, it is a bit over-whelming. I don't even think he cared about the money, it was more about searching, collecting, and the journey itself.
Yeah and at that point I’d pay someone to take it all. Too much stuff, can’t take it with you when you die. So if you’re going to Florida, man minimize to nothing and focus on the ocean and life.
Wow that was amazing. You have the deal in the palm of your hands. He doesn't want to haul this stuff out and won't be able to organize a yard sale in 2 weeks... give him 5 grand to c lean the whole place out at your expense. Rent an 18 wheeler and some hands and clear the house. It's yours for g ge taking. Don't leave anything behind. Never know what little treasure is in some box or trunk...
Picking Profits Still working out some details will see in next couple day how it goes. That old padlock I will be holding that one for your collection. Cheers !!
Collector or high class hoarder? I would love to see what he's taking to Florida! He's hot a mix of old farm and nautical stuff here with hunting as a spice to keep it interesting.
Typical pawn man the old desk has a scratch and most of your rare stuff isn’t really rare I’ll take whole lot for 10 bucks because I have to move it all and tag all these items triple for what I ripped you off for
My dad and I had trouble getting that same scooter that we just sold on craigslist up a flight of regularly inclined basement stairs. Those weigh probably 250lb-300lb range. So I have no idea how on earth that scooter got up their. Id also like to add I feel bad for the person who has to clean out up their. I know maximizing storage space in a garage is key but my guess is maybe a few guys were up top and it was tied secure with a rope and pulled up, no way that was carried up.
man if you can do this... you could make a killing, and still wholesale a bunch of it off to other resellers. I think that's the way to go, buy it all, keep the cool, pricey stuff, sell the rest off in lots to other resellers, recoup your investment and maybe a bit more with the lots, then the gravy would be the good stuff. the roy rogers guitar is cool, but doesn't bring much. They were not much more than a toy... however there is a plastic ukulele that brings big money because it's rare. wasn't meant to be a toy, but most thought it was. It was early days in plastics. More like bakelite, but not quite. I forget the name, got one by accident, I was amazed at the price it brought on auction at ebay. If I could do something like this, I'd bundle the like items together, and have an auction or something for the lots, being sure to invite area resellers.
Now that was just mind-boggling! To hire someone to do the job of clearing it out, organizing all of the contents...ect. Sure is more than I could handle 🤪!
Maybe 5k tops. There's a lot of common junk, it'll take a ton of time to inventory it, a lot of awkwardly sized stuff as far as shipping goes and none of that stuff will fly off the shelves so it'll be in storage for a hot minute. I wouldn't have offered anymore than $1,000
I would have bought the entire house content at $7000... try for $6000 but based on bulk of the place, you'd probably only be in an average of $5/item. The Moped alone you can get between $800-$1000. Hope it worked out for you!
this guy was so cool, plus this was a smoking deal. I mean you could make a fortune on this stuff the way you sell things. I really hope you took him up on this deal. I think it was the deal you just couldn't pass up. What a great guy
I live in Florida. Did he happen to mention where in Florida he was moving to? I may pay him a visit if he is still holding on to some of these items. lol!
That c70 passport is not a scooter! A scooter is automatic and is a step through. The honda cub 50,70 and 90 are bikes. Sorry im just very passionate about the Honda cub.....
hey Pete. any advice on buying and selling pocket billiards tables? price may vary by location but it's large and takes up alot of real estate. I can probably buy a couple and store them until someone needs it. please let me know. awesome videos. liked and subscribed.
Damn, that guy had some very cool stuff..a cranberry rake? I used to use them when I was a kid in Maine 50 years ago. 7 grand would be good, I was thinking 10 or so.
There's at least $80,000 USD in collectable items in there. The seller is about my age, and his grandparents left his him this fortune so he can later fortune one day.
