Another good review Mark. Your reviews show that the Chinese are now getting build quality spot on. A side note why if you were a cyclist would you cycle on a dual carriageway with fast moving traffic coming at you as the four cyclist we seen did?

This is my second big bike. I bought a Royal Enfield classic 350 after watching your video. Now I bought Benelli 502 C after watching this video. Love it both.
I think I would prefer the 750 in it with mid mounted peg and an oil sight glass, but the styling and big tank are on point. I also have an inseam of 28 inches
I'd prefer mid-set pegs. Nice-looking/sounding exhausts. I like the registration plate set-up. This could threaten the Rebel 500, although 217 kg is a bit heavy. As I said before, Benellis are very reliable. I wonder about the spares situation, though. I am led to believe that secondhand prices are low. Another excellent review.
Great review Mark! I just happened to see this bike today & thought it’s a mini Diavel too! It actually looks good in the flesh & the finish looked excellent. My only concern is the feet forward position. Gets the back & bum a pounding since you can’t use your legs to lift slightly off the seat. Hard rear suspension wouldn’t help. I hear this same effect with the Diavel too.
There is something about the Benelli and CFMoto offerings. They seem to plug gaps the Big Four have left open. There is nothing that quite compares in their ranges.
Good review Mark, I've had mine for just over a year and I'm made up with it, only niggle you can't see the TFT with the sun coming from behind (or directly above). You forgot to mention you can get them in blue (mine's blue)
Thanks for the comment Tim ,yes I did notice once or twice the tft was hard to see in the sun,I didn't mention about the blue as it's showing as a discontinued colour for the euro 5 bikes on the website Cheers mark
Really good review. Just purchased a 21 plate with 1,000 miles for £5200. Very happy, such an easy bike to ride. Also fitted a Pryamid screen this morning and just going out to see the difference.
Hi Steve - very seriously considering this for my first bigger bike - currently riding a Keeway RKV125 and notice the wind buffeting quite a bit in the more upright position vs my CBT bike (CBR 125) - how did the pyramid screen work out, keen to understand if it made a decent difference?
I agree it is a little Mad Max looking. I’m torn on the colour of this one. I’m not a huge cruiser style fan but I think this looks really cool. Yet again though another excellent review. Thank you Mark 👍🏻👍🏻
Oh dear, you've done it again Mark, great review of a great bike, thank you! BUT, I have reached the end of the road with the RE Meteor 350, just too puny for me so looking for a feet forward - so 502C, Kawa Vulcan and Honda Integra shortlisted, just the agonies of actually ending up with the perfect bike!!!!!!!!!!!
I currently ride a Benelli BN125 and will be going for my full licence soon. I'm tied between this bike or the Leoncino 800 Trail for stepping up. Both look class!
I have one in Australia, and it goes well. I put a little windshield on the front to deflect some windblast. Display is impossible to read in direct above sunlight.. but all up it cruises at legal speeds beautifully. Its not a racer but a sporty mid size cruiser IMHO. I'm not sure many 500cc bikes would be better?

Got to say mate, love the review. Answered vital questions for me. Especially with vibration which is something I’m concerned about coming from a single cylinder.
Hi the engine is smooth for a twin as it's 360 crank but there is a buzz which starts about 75 mph but nothing too bad ...but all in all a great bike Cheers mark

I love the feet position. I was driving a Harley for about 15 years, so that is the feet position that feels natural for me. I would like to have it more forward, so maybe I will change it.

Trying different starting places I see... I thought you were going to head off in the other direction towards Lulworth Castle. If ever you do, and you're on an adventure bike, go round the castle (B3070), up the hill and along to the T junction (Left for West Lulworth & Cove, right B3071for Wool). But do neither and go straight over. Nice simple green lane goes up the hill to the transmitter tower, takes jiggle and goes back down the hill, past West Down farm to the Durdle Door to Winfrith Newburgh rd. Nice looking bike but not really my sort of thing. Each to their own though.
Been waiting for this review and i can't complain one bit, good review and as you said great value for money. I'm movig to Spain in 2 years and i'll be getting a bike then, which would you prefer between the 502c and the cfmoto 650gt?
I've tested the 650GT and I didn't fell in love with it. The driving position was uncomfortable for me as I am 1,83 m tall. My knees touching the bike. And the engine doesn't like to cruise around in high gear. It needs to have rpm +4k. When I drove the 502c for the first time, my decision was clear under 1 minute of riding.
Thanks for another informative video review. As you say quirky looks, but for some reason I seem to be drawn to that look. One thing that stood out to me is with all that iron work design, bet it’s a bugger to clean and dry in all those nooks and crannies. So I’m in the market for a new bike retired now and of generous size 🤣, I am thinking the TRK502 would be a better machine for me. Though it has a slightly taller seat height and I am shorter in leg less than 28”. I think the TRK502 would be a more comfortable all day riding bike for me. In your test ride did you note any excessive heat coming from the engines of either bike?
Seriously contemplating one of these, but are their parts that hard to source? Not to mention expensive? I keep reading how difficult it has been for owners, and serious delays too if you can even find the parts to begin with
I have seen them in the flesh at local bike shop. Look like being a good commuter bike that can handle a bit of highway riding okay. I’m not sure about the wide bars when it comes to tricking through traffic- Z bars? May look interesting with a sissy bar like Harley Sportsters that you can attach an carry bag to.Reassuring that Benelli does the final quality control. Long may that continue. Parts availability has been an issue in Australia in the early days.
Great review Mark. Like the bike just wonder why these Benelli's are so heavy. Compared to say CF Moto 650 which are a bigger bike to me better value. Think I would prefer the 650 GT you tested to this.
Great review Mark. That bike looks fantastic. However, short service intervals again and just wondering about the build quality. Saw a 4 year old 502TK the other day that looked really rough.
They look well built but I suppose only time will tell ....I've read about lots of owners with 20/30 k miles with no probs ...but I'm sure if they are ridden through harsh salty winters and not cleaned they may look rough like you said Cheers mark
Yup that could happen to any bike, i have an early MT09 tracer that has never seen a winter and very rarely a wet day and i have oxidation on some of the metal parts I take care of bike in an OCD kind of way, great bike, but build quality is questionable, so even Japanese bikes arn't perfect.
@@jonno94 there's little rust proofing spray bottles out there. And spray bottles for cleaning and showroom lime smell for the nooks and crannies. And scratchproof self healing coating spray bottles. Bikes are meant to get dirty we should service them every 1000 miles and keep them in tip top CONDITION.
You could ride at 60 all day you mean? (Not 50). On most A-roads this is the case, especially in the sticks.. National speed limit signs mean 60 for cars and bikes.. (over 50% of UK drivers don't know this)
Hi from NZ. I am currently looking for a new bike, a mate has ordered the Leoncino 500. I like the look and reports of the 500c (in this review), however I am waiting for the TNT600i that is due this month. I realise these are two quite different machines, have you looked at the 600i? do you have any views on it? I have been on motorbikes for over 40 years covering many brands and am wanting one for a 'Sunday' ride with a mate. thanks, I enjoyed your review, well done. regards.. AJ

Hi all, i wanted to see if anyone else with a Benelli 502C is experiencing high vibration from 6000rpm onwards. I can feel them especially on the saddle and the foot pegs. So much that just after 30 min of riding when i get off the bike i get pins and needls. And honestly the bike doesn’t sound too good when riding it. Please share your thoughts, thank you :)
Good to have a look at your review though, I revved the machine (2021) in a show room one day and noticed its right hand side footpad vibrating and making rattling noises. Any thoughts on this based on your experience so far?
Hi Tom ...no I didn't have any rattling noises on this bike ....I'm sure a few bikes may have tiny teething issues that can be put right in the first service Cheers mark

I bought a ninja400 as a starter bike a few months back and was thinking of upgrading to a 600 or 1000cc. Should I go for the 1000 or do I need to practice first on a 600? Hi patrick ,well a modern sports 600 ...lets say the ninja 636 is 115ish hp ...that is more than double your ninja 400 has so id definitely go 600 first ....the 1000s are like the same power again ....have the 600 for a couple of years ...it will blow your mind as your new to biking then try the 1000s ...good luck regards mark
Mark, would you recommend this over CF moto 650 MT for taking Europe for a spin? Im not really into the lookings for CF Moto MT, also the leg possition, though it does seem more "equipped" for touring than Benelli. Your thoughts? ty!

Hey Mark, another issue I have now, the actual odometer reading on my 2021 model Benelli 502c does not match the actual travel distance. For instance, I travelled 129km (actual distance, proven by two different cars and google map) but my bike's reading was 144km...Did you have any issue on this? (Of course, I've already addressed this issue to my dealer who doesn't know what to do but just wait for factory's solution......)

Poor man's Ducati diavel? I had to look twice when I saw one for the first time, so the looks are great. But it wouldn't be a bike for me, I would want the power of a power-cruiser, not just the looks. Other things to consider are reliability and "part support" are probably things to look out for., which apparently is a real struggle with the Benelli bikes. So even in this segment, a Honda Rebel 500 might be a better option as a 500cc cruiser
helo sir i can see u have installed nice frame sliders in ur 502c. Can u please tell me the specs of it....how long is it....whats the diameter of the bolt....??? and how its attached in 502c.... coz i got to understand it before i order from Amazon.in, i am having trouble finding a perfect fit. Hope you would take ur time to help me in this regards... 🙏
My 502c bike had done 500kms and still 500kms more for 1st service. Till the first 200kms bike felt smooth and the buzz are negligible. But after the first 200kms at around 4k rpm at 80km/h my right side footpeg vibrates to a point which is feeling uncomfortable. Is it normal during the engine break in period? and can it be fixed during the 1st service?
Hi the first service is just an oil and filter change and a check ...tell them about the buzz they may be able to do something. My trk502 is now on 2700 miles and getting smoother and running even better ...so hopefully that will be the case for you :) Best regards mark

Yup actually the right side footpeg is somewhat not tighten as the left one and when I rev it up in idle it creates a rattling sound so that may be the case I guess. I saw your video and the next day I booked 502c here in India. Thanks for your good work.
Yes you are correct... reason being the 502 c has a 360 crank which is a smooth twin sound... whereas the mt03 is a 180 crank Which sounds more thud !!! Cheers mark
