love you're vidoes. As a Swed, you're climate is much closer to what I get than a lot of the americans and austrailians showing things like this, so your videos really help, thank you!
I love my petunias and wanted to grow the same color next year. You are so incredible with showing us how to harvest these little beauties and glad your grandfather likes them too. They are my favorite flowers to grow in the garden.
0:22 Stop, my poppa called me Pétunia - the reason for my purchase this year. What a synchronized world we get to enjoy 🎉❤ cheers, thanks for the video!
I have a yellow and white flowered petunia this year that come evening, smells absolutely incredible. I’m obsessed with it. It smells like a dessert. I bought several others that don’t smell nearly as good if at all. This one is special and rare and I MUST harvest seeds for future. I’d like to grow this variety for the rest of my life
Always happy to see a new video. Thank you for keeping the intro/outro music the same and unchanged. It is distinct and in my opinion has become a signature of your videos.
Lol don't feel bad mine kicks in at the worst moment. But thank you for showing me that saving the flower stock are were the seeds come in at. I have a nice plant and was hoping to get seeds for next yr. Mine a electric sky variety. So pretty
I’ve discovered different variety and colours of petunias and really wanted to save some for next year. So pleased to come across your very helpful video! Thank you. 😊
My mom has petunias in a few pots. Funny thing is, for the most part, the majority of them are, quite literally, volunteers that reseeded from the previous batch. Haven't had to really buy any for a few years, unless we notice some that we want to add to the random mix we've got.
Very informative, in fact just what I was looking for. With the lockdown it's the first time I've ever had the time to spend growing stuff myself and I'm still learning. Thank you - I look forward to seeing how my trailing petunia's turn out.xx
Thank you for such a delightful video. This is my first visit to your channel. You’re such a pleasant and joyful fellow. This has been a very helpful video, my thinking was all wrong about how to harvest these little seeds! Thank you… I look forward to viewing some of your other videos!
@@ProjectDiaries glad you are taking care of your health as well as bringing smile to your precious grandad . Keep smiling and thanks for sharing . Kind regards Swift Hug from the north east . We don't have as much sunshine here. :-), tc stay safe.
Your video is very visual and clear to follow. After you place the seeds in the little envelopes, do you keep them in the refrigerator or in other cool place? Also, if you have zinnias, would you do a video of planting them from seeds? Thank you.
Pretty nifty idea! Thank you! Sure as heck beats Staples ridiculous pricing of $29.95 + tax for 250 mini envelopes! At the end of the day it is indeed only folded damn paper!
So happy that I just found you! I have some petunias that are just beautiful this year! Now that you have shared how to get the seeds, I am so excited about next spring/summer! Now dumb question... When is the best time to start those seeds??
Sorry to change the subject, but have you made a video about growing begonias? I heard you mention them as a favorite of yours. I never have any success with them so am looking for tips from your diaries. Thanks Liz.
Love your video as always, harvesting petunia seeds does save some bucks, i personally very fond of petunias and i grown petunias only, and i do have a questions i hope you can help, how did you get rid of whiteflies that keeps on nagging on petunia plant? I tried neem oil solution but it doesnt seem effective for me, any other solution that you can recommend? =D
Nice, thanks. What's the best way to get rid of spider mites on my plants & will they hide anyplace else? I've tried everything & have had to throw multiple plants away!
Some of my flowers died, so I took them off and opened the bud and found white seeds in them, I’m going to plant them and see if I get a plant, if not, I’ll try your method
My husband has fingernails just like you. You and he have beautiful personalities and fingernails.☺️🙌🏼❤️ Thank you for this video-I accidentally discovered a seed pod on the Fourth of July while pinching back spent blooms and found it!🎉🌸 Sending love and thanks-first time I’ve seen your channel-very informative and 💗.
My petunias are showing no signs of dying or drying out and we’re in November! I just wondered, can I sow the seeds now in the U.K. in doors or do I need to Waite until next year ? Thanks !
Bright fuchsia petunias grew in my vegetable garden last year and came back again this year. Strange part is I never planted them or had hanging baskets
My husband bought me a beautiful purple/white petunia plant. I thought the buds were just not growing and something told me to open it and a bunch of black seeds came out. Waiting to see if they're going to bloom. But i got her some food and now we have blooming flowers. And though it's said too give full ssun, mine doesnt like full 🌞
Thank you for video. I just know that I can save the seeds. I don't need to buy new seeds. Also I need to grow my fingernails 🤣🤣🤣. Have a nice day Lee 😀👍
My petunias are showing no signs of dying or drying out. I just wondered, can I sow the seeds now indoors or do I need to wait until next year ? Thanks
Incredible I have a variety of petunia (3 feet) which totally survived last winter by staying outside (France). I'll try to have seeds but not sure, I'm wondering this one ealisy produces seeds :/
