I’d argue that the actress of sariss is the one bringing most to the table, and the least campy

campy =/= bad. They're working with such limited time making their characters loud with their weirdness wasn't as bad as muted would have been. Sariss and Jerec are both strong performances in different ways, Sariss as a character was just evil in a much more coldly dispassionate way than all the others.

Solaxe S Please, the FMV cutscenes are by far the best cutscenes in a video game. They actually look like real life, because you have actual actors like in a real movie, not animated in-game models like in every other game after it.

Oh come on... Raven Software made Outcast and Academy very life-like in the idtech 3 engine and I say it's aged really well.

We now exist in an era where A-movie cast make television series; and yet the writing, integration, care and quality that went into the creation of "Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight" (and a decent tip of the hat to Jean-Baptiste Zorg) is superior to the six-year-after-upload TWENTY-FIVE-YEAR-AFTER-GAME-RELEASE $30million/episode productions of The Walt Disney Corporation. I watched "Obi-Wan Kenobi". And then parts of "Rebels" and season 2 of "The Mandalorian". And I return here to watch Zorg's video. The plot flaws in "Rebels" are stomach churning. Tom Baker's voice failed to help. I spent "The Mandalorian" wishing someone would put a blaster-bolt through that birthing-egg-eating green fake Yoda freak. I agree. Although wookieepedia might prove us wrong. They have every explanation out there even for the most stupidest or illogical star wars gimmicks. Nowadays I avoid SW altogether.

The fights were done in Jedi Academy (the sequel to Jedi Knight II) with skins and levels made to resemble Jedi Knight. I remember playing with those mods years ago, it was really fun.

Jedi Knight 1 graphics are what they are, can't improve it AFAIK. The clips in this video that appear to have better graphics than your Jedi Knight 1 are taken from Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (aka Jedi Knight 3 (aka Dark Forces IV... LOL)) by re-enacting the fights from the old games. You can't play the whole game that way, unless someone takes the time to recreate all the levels, NPCs, cut scenes, etc which would be an immense project.
