This fight on Nightmare mode was a breath of fresh air after those awful Swap Force nightmare bosses, they actually made the attacks more complex and challenging rather than just "Oh your Skylander dies in one hit good luck!" (Then I discovered I couldn't progress past level 4 because my disk got scratched but I at least got to enjoy this fight!)
@@Sorcerer-SMCExcept for kaos, yeah he killed like 6 trap masters for me, that was because i wasnt using any villians. Trap team nightmare mode without any villians like broccoli guy is HELL.
A little thing I discovered while fighting him. In the phase where he summons the chompies, if you keep attacking him without killing them, you reach a point where the game doesn’t let him take damage, forcing you to kill the chompies and move on to the chonky chompy phase
No, it's the exact same, just with subpar precussion solos. I really thought that the artist would bother to give Chompy Page a unique theme even slightly similar to his absolute banger track from Giants, but no. They just recycled one of the older lietmotifs of thr series and called it good.
It's odd that his boss battle music is so different from the regular music he uses. But frankly, hate this battle - same as many other boss battles in Trap Team it is a "bullet hell" that is insane hard to avoid, especially with larger skylanders. Only worse one is Kaos himself.
Well, Trap Team's bosses are challenging, take Luminous from the Sunscraper Spire Expansion level, the introduction to the Light Element. HE'S REALLY ANNOYING. I overall love Trap Team, my favorite of all Skylanders games, and this boss is one of my favorites.
Hey there I am making a mini series called my vision for the next smash bro’s and I am adding chompy mage as a new fighter what you think I already have a full move set and everything ready for him
