i still think it's so fucking cool how kaos literally stops fighting the skylander mid-fight in an attempt to PULL YOU YOURSELF INTO the DAMN FIGHT but then accidentally brings your furniture into the fight, which he THEN TURNS INTO BULLETS TO USE AGAINST YOUR SKYLANDER.
So, it starts off with the standard Kaos theme for the first 2 phases. Come Phase 3, we hear a remix of Mars, Bringer of War (I only recently discovered that the Phase 3 music is a remix of that). Phase 4, we have a rave. Then Phase 5, FLIPPING NIGHT ON BALD MOUNTAIN! I gotta say, the composer really did his homework making this song. This is easily my favorite Kaos Boss Battle theme ever because of how the themes and classical references mix perfectly with the action of the boss fight.
I love all of the symphonic references this theme has a whole and they made them sound awesome in the electronic/dubstep genres which is very hard to do! Props to them!
I mean, the games themselves were good, except the last one,I thought the last one was really bad.If there was no toys to life thing at all,and the only thing you could do is just buy a game and then get skylanders over levels or whatever, that would've been much more interesting.Only if someone bought the rights for Skylanders...
First fighting this guy, I was shocked at what he could do. He was the toughest Kaos I fought at that moment in time. The 4th wall breaks, as well as his attacks and appearance, really set the tone alongside some well done boss music. Once you learn his moves, though, he becomes substantially easier. Made easier with Trap Masters having their weapon boosts. For atmosphere, though, this was a fun finale.
I would’ve been able to do the same, but Kaos decided to m u r d e r all of my trap masters. Without fail, if a skylander even tried to attack Kaos, it might deal some damage, but it always ends with them dying. I only survived because I had Pain Yatta and the other villains.
@@unclemanbun I’m actually thinking of redoing this fight but with one skylander. I feel like if I use my favourite one (Ghost Roaster) and Broccoli Guy, I might be able to no death it.
Definitely hard if you have just the starter pack skylanders and they don't have all their upgrades or their not at MAX The stupidest move I ever went with. -_-
I like how the final battles between Kaos progressively get more crazy with Kaos' final boss concepts. I mean, think about it. He went from sitting on a chair that controls an elemental hydra that could destroy an essential core of Skylands, to a enormous robot with an ancient iron fist that has ultimate authority over other ancient robots, to being a titan himself, to a traptanium corrupted angel of death and to a LITERAL Blue Super Saiyan.
Yeah, now, if there was another GOOD Skylanders game ever created... we could have another kaos form that could be... BASED ON SOME SORT OF CHAOTIC BEING (a witch a la Madoka-style) which it would no longer be able to recognize himself at all!
My younger brother used to play this, and when I decided to play for the heck of it, I had no idea this boss would be so crazy. He's basically Sans difficulty, but toned down to a level where can beat him.
When I was 7 I used to play all skylander games I loved this boss because he breaks the fourth wall saying he's gonna capture the person playing I also loved the boss theme
@Portal Master Mayville That reminds me of a glitch that happened when I was playing skylanders giants on nightmare mode there were TWO DRILL X's I was able to beat them with me friend but boy was it chaotic
Phase 3 is “Bruv of War” by Daryl Griffith and Michele Balduzzi, phase 4 is “The Smoker” by Shimon and Sparfunk, and phase 5 is “Bare Heavy” by Michele Balduzzi.
This boss on nightmare difficulty isn't just a Nightmare... It's a Nightmare in hell that is on steroids. This damn Boss battle burned trough 147 of all my 150 Skylanders. AND ALL OF THEM WHERE MAX LEVEL!
Took 50 minutes with a friend to beat this guy on hard mode in one go, I can't bear to imagine what Nightmare would be like. All of our Skylanders except two died and we had to turn to Wolfgang to finish off the fight and now I respect Tree Rex and Bomb-Shake more for carrying the fight Edit: And Broccoli Guy for keeping the Skylanders alive for long enough to deal with phases 1-3
@@Scatterbrained_and_Lost Unfortunately, under capitalism, it is inevitable that a company would forego creating good games for the sake of watching a line go up. Profit as the only incentive for the creation of art exceedingly damages the quality of the resultig piece.
William Hertel the boss battle in imaginators was fine, I just wish it was harder, In trap team it took me 5 trap masters (without villains) to beat him on nightmare In imaginators I beat him with just spit fire on nightmare
After dealing with the Wii version of Telescope Towers, I thought the game would never recover from that. It slowly rebuilt some of my trust, but never reaching my original excitement level. Until this happened. The fourth wall breaks when he actually attacks ME, the intensity of the fight itself, and THE MUSIC. THE. MUSIC. I replayed this level CONSTANTLY, and all because of this fight.
0:00 Phase 1 (Kaos Theme Remix) 1:04 Phase 2 (Kaos Theme Remix 2) 2:11 Phase 3 (Mars, Bringer of Doomstep) 3:27 Phase 4 (The Western… OF DOOOOOOOOM!!!) 4:44 Final Phase (A Night on Synth Mountain)
Kaos in trap team: I pretend to be on the good side,so they can beat up the doomraiders, that way I can conquer all of skylands on my own Kaos in Academy: boo ho I am a bratty kid, and I wanna be like my mom
So Kaos has been: The controller of the elemental Hydra that destroyed the Core of Light The Arkeyan King and wielder of the Fist of Arkus A Darkness corrupted Titan A Traptanium powered Angel of Death The second in command to the literal embodiment of Darkness A Super Saiyan Imagine what he’ll become next…
I tried this not too long ago. I tried to only use Blackout and sometimes a villain and started at level 1. The final boss even on normal blew through a few characters but i was like 3 hours into my second sitting so i decided to just say screw it. Though it is possible to beat it all with just one character but i wish doom raider bosses had a checkpoint before their fight as i really didn't feel like going through an hour long level a second time
back when I did this fight I only had Foodfight and Snap Shot, Foodfight died instantly as I lead with him and almost never used him, but Snap Shot hella carried, pretty much beating Kaos on his own.... Now imaginators on the other hand
Look, we got some sick beats in TT but I think that we can all agree that swap force was the best skylanders game they released, and we'll never get one like it again...
