True, but I struggle to not consider it to be objectively the best "for Netflix" show. Like, which show could match the writing, cine, casting, acting let alone all at the same time. But you're right, the genre isn't for everyone
@@bazookatooth There are some people who either can't wrap their heads around it, or are so used to fiddling with their cellphones while watching that they end up completely losing track. My wife eventually gave up midway into Season 1 and went back to her staple view of Chick Flicks and Love Island type reality show nonsense.
Dark is a Masterpiece and I don’t throw that around lightly. Watched it twice and was even better the second time. Up there with Breaking Bad, maybe even better. 10/10 for me. Loved it.
Breaking Bad was a really well-made show, but it pales in terms of story-development, complexity, themes, and physical scale of Dark. To call something as thought-provoking as Dark a 'show' feels cheap.
Possibly the best series ever made, and, even rarer, a show that never drops its high standards for a moment. I cannot stop thinking about this series, and I'm finding it a real struggle to engage with anything else on tv since watching it.
A real example of a tv show planned from the start and ended properly. This will go down as one of the best tv shows of all time. For me, the best TV show since Breaking Bad.
For how good Dark is it's unbelievably difficult to convince people to give it a try. I stumbled across it shortly after season one was released while browsing netflix looking for something to watch in-between shows. I thank my past self each day for making the decision to choose Dark as it's now my favorite show. Everything about the show is phenomenal. Truly a masterpiece.
I stumbled on the show in 2018 with no idea time travel was involved. Tbh, if I'd known it might have put me off as I'm not particularly into sci-fi/fantasy. The whole look and mood of the thing drew me in instantly. When the time travel aspect was introduced my jaw hit the floor but I'd seen enough already to absolutely trust the creators' ability to make it work. The heart of the show for me is a complex, emotionally absorbing drama (sometimes devastatingly so) across four families and five generations. Time travel is just a mechanism to explore those characters in a unique and fascinating way. The acting is outstanding throughout the cast but I have to highlight the actors playing Hannah, Ulrich, Claudia and Katherina - unforgettable characters and performances.
I am on this planet for 35 years, have watched thousands of movies, hundreds of Tv series, but never have been I ever so impressed with something like what I experienced with DARK. it's an absolute masterpiece. I have finished the final season a month ago, & since then I haven't a single movie/show. Because now everything else seems so childish infront of Dark. Even Christopher Nolan movies. Yes. You heard it right. This is a bold statement but it's true. Not everything that is popular is the best. & Dark might be one of the best TV shows ever made & absolutely the best sci fi series ever made. This is the best time travel story ever portrayed on screen
@@jaikee9477 I agree. But if we say it loud, public will troll us. Everyone thinks Nolan is a god.. Yes, he is great, but people don't want to believe thae fact that someone else can do better than him as well
I agreed with all of you. This was better than any Christopher Nolan movie I’ve ever seen imo. After their Netflix deal every major studio should give them the green light..
I was so excited about Tenney but then dark season 3 happen.. and I don't have the same urge as.. before to watch that movie even though it's in my pendrive
Half into season 2 I was so pleased to realize that this had all been well planned (determined) from the start. Dark is now one of my two favorite series ever... the other is Twin Peaks. Everything in Dark is determined, even the ending. The beginning is the end and end is the beginning.
I'd recommend giving Mr.Robot a go if you haven't already. Dark is my favorite show but Mr.Robot is easily top 3, it's a really unique; well written show.
@@arnthorsnaer It's definitely worth it. There're twists and turns you just won't see coming and like Dark the ending is both satisfying and makes sense.
They did sold us the idea of "the begining is the end and the end is the beginning", but to me they fail us to deliver just that at the end...let me elaborate: Imagine if at the very end Jonas and Marta cause the accident that results in the death of the Tannhaus family, creating thus the events that lead to the creation of the time machine...that would have been truly a "the end is the beginning and the beginning is the end".
The casting director is Simone Bär. She's also done the German casting for some Hollywood productions like "Grand Budapest Hotel" and Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds". And they "cheated" in the casting by hiring real life relatives (father and son) only on two occasions. :-)
* EXTREME SPOILERS* I really enjoyed the ending of Dark. The story of Ulrich was so heart breaking to me! How he became so lost trying to find his son, and later his wife’s struggle to find and help him (and how she ended up!). Hannah was a very interesting character as well. I found myself so torn between liking her, because at many points she was such a horrible person. Was interesting how the end showed that her love for Ulrich was what led to her ultimately being so shitty as a person. Also don’t get me started at the mindfuck that was Charlotte and her daughter. To say I was gobsmacked was an understatement!
Masterpiece. But also I can see it being an acquired taste. The tone, the Nature of the cycles and how that feels for the viewer...but, for me, those were the point. And for a mind-blowingly detailed, minutely plotted show with all the complexities of multiple time travelling with its cause and effect, this programme emotionally nailed me. For all their flaws and 'sin', the characters compelled me and created heightened empathy so when the big moments happened...tears, denial...infestation of my mind. And it manages to do everything it sets out so effortlessly. A cohesive, singular vision. Hypnotising. And don't be tempted by dubbing. The German language is a must. The acting, the plot...it's all so damn good even subtitles can't ruin it. Masterpiece.
I am on my second watch. I just finished it last night and started it again this morning. Watching it again makes all the difference in the world for me. The first time around there was so much questioning wondering about what was going on and how everybody was connected. Watching it again helps connect the dots better and I’m looking forward to seeing how old is experienced all the way through.
Dark is just one of those very very special shows that came completely out of nowhere and blindsided everybody. So unique in it's tone, so bold of a story. And amazingly somehow doesn't fall apart by the end. Shows almost never achieve anything remotely close how to excecute a complex story like this show did. Masterpiece!
Not only the most under rated show on Netflix, its one of the most under rated shows period. Not sure how it isn't nominated for multiple awards, especially writing/directing. The ending... well SPOILER alert. it was a little deus ex machina, but, it really was the best way they could end it...unexpected, but hinted at, so I wasn't upset about it... i personally thought the end of episode 7 is where it would have ended...which would have been a little too, well, Dark. Only minor quibble was wanting to see Stranger Jonas' turn into Adam a little more fleshed out... and the 33 sheep was an unnecessary red herring.
For me it was a 10/10. A mention must go to the music, the soundtrack and the songs they used which were perfect for the emotions that the characters were going through.
Okay I watched the first 30 seconds of this about a month ago and stopped to watch the series. Just finished and this is the best show of all time. I would love a spoiler talk from you
Finally someone who is as excited about this as I am, who appreciates everything to the level it should be, who understands why it is such a masterpiece. Yes, DARK is one of the best shows ever made, hands down. If I would have to choose a word to describe it, that would be impeccable. Because it is. The flaws that it has are insignificant compared to everything else. The story is amazing, the cast, the themes, the cinematography. The soundtrack, too! I talked to someone about the ending and they hated it, absolutely hated it. But I really think it was beautiful and as you said, perfect. It fit the rest of the story, it was not rushed. I'm curious who was your favorite character(s) and your least favorite. For me, I really liked Jonas. Not because he was the main character, but he was just so human and I could connect with him. Martha, too. But ugh, I really, really hated Hannah. I tried to relate to her, to see her side of things, but I gave up. She is just awful. Thank you for making the video. Hopefully more and more people will watch this, it deserves the recognition. Take care!
Top 5 show all-time for me. Such deep concepts. Also the score is great, i don't think you mentioned that. The series really stayed with me ever since i have watched season 1. Truly an enriching experience!
Three season structure - the number three plays a very important role in the show. The triquetra, the 33 years cycle, three dimensions: past, present, future... And about the ending... If I had to describe Dark in three words, I would say: "Lost in good". The show's concept and overall arc was planned in advance, so there was no chance to stretch it to infinity and leave the audience with lots of loose threads and an disappointing ending like Game of Thrones or Lost. The ending hits the spot and leaves no question unsolved. Well, except one. 😜
I know I am 3 years late to this video... but **SPOILERS** I feel like this show has 2 endings, you can choose either episode 25 or 26; episode 25 ending with the knot restarting and going back to the beginning like it has time and time again or you finish out the story with 26 and the cycle comes to an end but it ends everything the main characters knows is real. I wouldn't necessarily say 26 is the most satisfying way to end it but I have no idea the direction you could even go to finish this story other than starting it over or destroying everything. Its all so incredibly complex and interconnected, you can truly tell how much the showrunners loved putting it together. For me its a 10/10, there are no other shows that have an experience like this one.
Such a wonderful review. I absolutely LOVED this TV series. I actually think it's the best sci-fi tv series I've ever watched. In season 3, i genuinely thought "I'm going to be disappointed by the ending; there's no way they can conclude this satisfyingly." But nope, I was thoroughly satisfied. SO GOOD. Wonderful review, Marianna. I need to rewatch this TV series again!
Haven’t watched Dark yet, but hearing so many good things so very interested in watching it and I’m especially glad Dark did get a proper ending to the series. I hope my personal favorite Netflix series “The OA” gets completed too as intended by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij. It‘s written for the story to be unfolded in five parts, and only two are out as of yet. The ending of Part II isn’t the actual end of the story, which is very obvious if you’ve seen it. 😢 #SaveTheOA
Love this show! Watched season one, then impatiently waited for season 2. Binged season one right before starting season 2. Then spent a year waiting for the final season. And yes, I binged all of seasons 1 and 2 before seeing 3. This show is flawless in my opinion! And I recently binged the entire thing from start to finish. Took me 6 days to get through it all, and I think I loved it even more the second time around. Super excited for the next project of the creative team from this, which will not involve time travel, but sounds like it might be more horror oriented.
Spoiler alert: Yes; the ending was perfect. I was hooked from the start. The relation between Jonas and Martha, in a subtle but very clever way, is really what lures us into the series despite everything around it being so creatively balanced and intriguing; later in the show we come to understand why. The casting is what makes the story work so well that it almost needs no explanation, in fact it's obvious, you just know who they are before they tell you! - And you said it well; we discover things in time with the characters (well...Time...not at the same time )). From the casting to the writing, directing, editing, music, everything fits perfectly in this dark equation. It was only on the third season that I started having my doubts -I mean, not about the quality which the show maintained but in regard of my liking of where it seemed to be going... I was like WHAT?: "I'm not your Martha!" Wait...WHAT!?Shut UP MARTHA!! :) Suddenly they didn't know each other and it was heartbreaking, not to say I was pissed! x) And the question was no longer "not where but when" but "not what time but what world." And so it started all over again; A glitch in the matrix. ( Even the way they shot the scenes with the camera going around the actores at the breakfast table) But eventually it got AGAIN interesting but I admit it slowed my hype on the series for a while but before I knew I understood it, I accepted that there was no other path for the story to take and I really enjoyed it to the very last seen: the ending or shall I say the beginning?
What is there left to say? Dark is a crowning achievement of storytelling. I normally dislike time travel stories because at some point or another the writers do not have firmly established rules for time travel in order so that they could fiddle around with them to service the plot, or even if they do have firm rules, they end up breaking them with no real explanation to again serve the plot. So often time travel stories will present a simple but blunt solution that does not jive with the knowledge the audience has of how time travel works, which breaks the mystique of the story. I absolutely love Dark because it establishes firm rules for all of its sci-fi concepts and also outlines within the context of the show the ways or reasons as to why you can bend or break them, thus whenever it does so to serve or further the plot, it does so in a manner consistent with the rules and loopholes established that you are never taken out of the viewing experience. The consistency makes the whole experience of Dark enthralling because you do not feel the show cheated or broke its own rules in order to tell the narrative. It reminds of the first time I watched Christopher Nolan's "The Prestige" without knowing anything about it and getting that whole experience of storytelling magic.
You hit the nail on the head with everything. One thing i would add, it's best enjoyed with German audio and English subtitles. But not "English (CC)", those are a transcript of the English dub, and for the dub, they changed a lot of lines slightly, to better match the lip movements. Only the plain "English" subs have the direct translation. There is a non-minor spoiler in a picture you show about the casting, but hopefully people will not remember it. It's one of the best shows to go into blind, don't even watch a trailer. This show is close to perfection.
I was just about to start it and wondered about this, so was scrolling through the comments, skipping around spoilers to see if anyone touched on whether to watch with the original audio with sub-titles. Thanks for this.
Even up until the last episode I was almost convinced they couldn't possibly wrap everything up and come up with a satisfying ending. And this despite people telling me they had nailed the ending. Boy, was I wrong. The ending was just too great and further elevated what was a superb show to start with. What I also liked is that they did not go into unnecessary details about every little thing that had happened within the knot. If you've watched carefully, you could easily deduce pretty much everything, so showing it on screen had no actual point and would have derailed from the conclusion. We got the important ones in e07s03 providing us with enough information to piece the whole puzzle (bar the big reveal in the finale)
Hello from the future, this show is a 10 out of 10 for me, this and 12 Monkeys are both a 10, I loved the cast, they did excellent in this show. I would love heard the spoilers and your reaction to them though.
Best review ever.. You seem to be very good at this.. And I want to add, that each time you watch the show over, it does not seem you are watching the same thing over, it seem like you are watching an extra season with extra content due all the extra things we notice and their relation to the story.
Dark is definitely in my top 5 of favorite shows ever. And out of those 5 it is the best one (but it doesn't top my emotional connection to my favorite show ever, House). I would love to see a spoiler review video from you of all three seasons. ..................SPOILERS FOR ALL SEASONS.................... I liked the ending. I was expecting of these two: the loop either re-starts and every effort was worthless (which I feared when Martha 2.0 and Jonas travelled to the original world because I thought they were gonna cause the car to go off the bridge) or they would be able to break it. What I did not expect was that sooo many characters wouldn't exist without that loop. So sad, but so good. I mean, it was a happy ending but at a cost. Season 2 was my favorite, and if what you're referring to is the Elizabeth-Charlotte-Elizabeth loop, I'm with you. I loved that. And Charlotte was one of my favorite characters. The recurring gag of Wöller's eye was great XD
As a big fan of Stranger Things, Dark is on another level like how did they come up with those plots?? I really have no idea... this show is an example of German engineering. My boyfriend is German and he said he’s never been so proud of Germany before watching this show. 🙌🏼🙌🏼
As a Swiss growing up with German television this show feels very familiar. Germany produces a ton of this darker, melodramatic mystery stories, but mostly they are packed into crime/detective series. It feels so rehashed to me. The actors, slightly looking disheveled with a frown, the minimal use of sound and so on. The story here of Dark is interesting, I can understand that people are drawn to it. And the story is a bit more sophisticated than most of these darker Geman series. But still, I had to quit in the beginning of season 2, because I felt I've seen and especially felt this kind of show a gazillion times already. So for everyone who is in love with the style of this series, you might consider watch more German television detective series. Because it hardly gets any more German than this series Dark.
You absolutely nailed it! Everything you said in the video was what I felt about the show. There were times I worried that we won't get resolutions. Especially in series 3 when we drew closer to the finale and I was worried many plot points hadn't been resolved. I'm glad I had no reason to fret. This show was one of the best I'd ever seen. Rewatches allowed me to watch it from different perspectives. First viewing, I was Jonas. After the third series, I watched series 1 again, but this time from Adult Jonas's perspective. This is a show that just keeps on giving!
The only issue I took with Dark was the penultimate episode, the purpose of which was to tie up the non-central plots and explain who secondary and tertiary characters were. I would have preferred that they hadn't.
Finally. I KNEW this series had Marianna written all over it. I have been waiting to hear your review. I was particularly struck by the animosity towards Time expressed by ........... And the linkage of Time with God with Meaning. My own thought (and I did a series on the nature of Time, with heavy influence from Tarkovsky, including one video on Dark and Time) is that we must live within Time in order to fully live and the quest to stop, evade, or destroy the effects of Time ultimately ends up annihilating ourselves. I'm not sure if the filmmakers would agree with me. But on some level there is an overlap. Dark is indeed one of the best series of all time. (By the way Marianna I noticed the way you kept mentioning other shows getting 'Lost' in their plots and intents. I suspected your repeated use of that word wasn't exactly an accident, if you know what I mean.)
I am thankful to come across your channel, lucky for me this is only 3 years and not 33 years after you posted this video. I am hoping that you can read my reply and that somebody somewhere hasn't done a "Dark" and ended this world where we exist lol. You are correct, this is a great show and questions simply lead to more questions, but the fun in listening and learning is great. Thank you and I look forward to seeing more of your reviews. Have a lovely day.
Zero hyberboling here, this is THE BEST series and piece of science fiction and fiction I have ever watched. I realize that I'll probably never experience something as amazing, but I'm okay with that. It's unbelievably fantastic and I'm just grateful to live in a time to get to experience it again and again, ad infinitum.
Another CAST compliment is that people look like real people, which makes you forget about bothering details and just dive completely into what's happening. By bothering I mean when every single person is looking like they've just came out of a beauty salon and a stylist shopping consultation (like in nearly all of well promoted series) Typical teenagers, the one you used to be maybe, adults with wrinkles and different bodies, not a top-model standard to make it all look plastic.. And yessss, rewatched it too, that's when ever single word or action makes even more sense. I totally love how complicated this series is ❤️🔥i've descrbided only few books this way, now I can say the same thing - it was so complicated and so enjoyable, it makes me sad that it's over, I envy to all those who have a pleasure to discover it.
We NEED a spoiler discussion. So many great things to chew on!!! But anyway, great way to review this show. I one of my all time favorites now, so it's going to be an annual watch :D
SPOILER: I was 100% certain that Jonas and Marta will cause the car crash to start all that. I feel like the writers knew exactly that... and all of it looked like it will happen that way. but then it turnded out to have an actual ending.
I was looking forward to this video, and under normal circumstances I would've loved to have a long discussion about one of my favorite shows ever. But unfortunately RL has hit me very hard. I lost my dad very recently, and my mind isn't in the right place. So I'm just going to thank you for taking my mind off things for a moment.
The first 12 seconds of this video had me thinking.......................ummmmmmmmmmmm what? lol. I still haven't watched this but I hear it's well worth the watch. Glad to hear another strong review for the series.
Haha that's how the show is! Absolute GOLD for anyone looking for a strong sci-fi story that isn't afraid to challenge the viewers to actually pay attention :D
Every once in a while, a show comes along that transcends its genre because it's that damn good. Dark is that type of show. It's actually so good that it belongs in its own tier. Dark is almost certainly one of the greatest TV series ever.
One thing I found weird was that the show never refers to any historical events (the only exception being the Chernobyl disaster). World War 2 that had just recently ended, was never mentioned in the 1953 timeline. It would have been interesting to get some comments on the current historical events.
DARK is one of the best series' I have ever watched. Period. I suspected you'd be a fan of this show and I was not disappointed. Only thing I would add is to mention the sound design and music, and it's impeccable quality. The sound design is haunting and piercing, and fits the show perfectly. The musical selections introduced me to a lot of great artists that I still listen to today. Really, really looking forward to this duos' next show.
In my top 5 fav sci-fi series ever, for me 10/10, brilliant ending, casting was spot on, story, direction, and acting great, agree not for all, but I’m glad it was for me, cause we are perfect for each other
Alright avoinding the comments here. Just wanted to say you convinced me to watch the final season. I saw the first episode of the 3rd season and thought they lost the essence of the show with the new plot point, but i'll give it one more shot. Cheers Marinna :)
3 fun facts about the produktion of Dark : 1. The final scene between Jonas and Martha, was the last scene filmed on the final day of shooting. All the cast and crew were present. People were crying at the end. 2. the VFX studio is known for its great work.. the did a lot of great fx for lot of the blockbusters in the last years... Like endgame, cpt marvel etc 3. Wöllners eye. The actor of Wöllner had an accident before filming starts and they incorporate this into the plot ;-) Dark is a masterpiece of science fiction , and narrative storytelling in general !
@No middle Ground 🙃 I saw these facts in a "behind the scenes" video on german Netflix. His injury was not was not so bad, but he have to wear an eye patch for a few weeks ;-)
I have to agree with everything you said. This is one of the best TV shows I’ve seen for sure. I think it’s the only show since Babylon 5, where most of the script was written before the show even aired. Another show I’d strongly recommend is 12 Monkeys. You’ve probably seen the film, but very few people even know if the series. I think it’s better. It has a lot in common with dark, except it’s a bit more lighthearted and has more of a focus on mysticism than science.
So glad to see someone pay tribute to Babylon 5 ... a show I rewatch very often. Dark is clearly on the same level in planing and execution and it very nearly knocked B5 off the perch for top series ever for me. I just like the final episode of B5 a little better because it was so perfect I dont think it can ever be better. Dark was very close though and I really liked the ending, and was glad to finally have a show able to reach the same level of effect.
The first season was *fantastic* and I immediately connected with the characters and their intertwined stories. The casting & acting was spot on, some of the best I've ever seen in any show, and the soundtrack was great. But as more and more sub-plots & characters were introduced in season 2 & 3 (some of which were dead ends) I lost my connection with Dark's denizens and, quite honestly, stopped caring (Impending apocalypse? Ehhh...) This is similar to what happened with Westworld and Man in the High Castle - I really felt that the spectacle had eclipsed substance after the initial season. Maybe this is for me an issue of a show being complex (which creates depth) vs. complicated (I think convoluted/confused). Regardless, the quality of acting never faltered. With that said, I'd be curious to re-watch the whole thing with my girlfriend, I think it might inspire some "Aha!" moments for us, as I know there are probably things we may have missed. Some things are better the second time around.
Next series in the making already... This time international production called 1899. About a group of immigrants on a ship from europe to the US. But on the ocean strange things start to happen.... This time Jantje Friese is the main writer.. but she has 6 co writers from different countries at her side... Bo will again direct the whole thing.... Season 1 will maybe drop end of 2021.
Wow I didn't know they hired relatives. That makes sense. The casting is absolutely stunning. I never seen anything like that before. I mean these people looks absolutely the same just older(younger)
The Casting Director is German finest Simone Bär. She also did the the German cast for „Inglorious Basterds“ and „The Reader“, both Oscar Nominated movies.
I was lost several times during this show. As the twists and turns kept coming it was really difficult to follow. It is particularly the different versions of peripheral characters that muddled my understanding of what was happening. I couldn't remember who they were in relation to the main set of characters, as we went to different time periods. I was still able to enjoy the show even if I didn't understand everything that was happening, because I was able to follow the red thread quite well. This is now in my top three tv-shows of all time which reads: 1. Twin peaks 2. Band of Brothers 3. Dark.
Dark is good but don't get me wrong, after season 2 it feels like a stress to notice every different things happening in the season...I won't say it's very interesting.... Personally I feel like you cannot continually binge after season 2.... You get easily tired.... And for me I cannot re watch it again...I like this series, it's written very good but...I feel like it can be made even more interesting.... And a Little less complicated.
If you are looking for a show that applies high academic concepts to its plot, you should definitely watch this. This is quite cerebral and yet dramatic enough to keep you entertained. I could not stand the first 4 episodes of the first season. The pacing is awful. I found it really hard to get through them but I am glad I did because the next 6 episodes are probably some of the most entricate, engaging writing that I have ever seen. It is magical. The second season seemed to me the most similar to other contemporary shows. It has a ton of shock value and, in my opinion, fails to deliver satisfactory conclusions to many of the plot threads opened in the previous season. Season 3 is altogether the most consistent. There is almost nothing that is left unexplained. It is a proper ending and an effective way to give this closure.
I loved every minute of it. The ending was great, it is a pity you did not voice your thoughts in this video. My only issue was: all the characters kept 33 years distance between them, apart from Eva. In one scene there were 4 or 5 of them, three of which were couple of days apart... That confused me greatly, was there some indications I missed somehow, or the creators were wrapping it faster than they could manage...
OK... I'm now on S3 E5. OMGGGGGGG! I took a break to re-watch this review. After "DARK" I'll be watching for the first time, "Black Mirror". Again, because of your reviews. And, I have a request. Please, Please, Please, finish watching "Dark Command". The last 1/3rd of the movie is the best. I've watched "Dark Command" at least five times. Each time I pick up things I missed. Granted, minor details that some might call teensie , weensie easter eggs. However...Marianna...as you like to say...Seriously...I mean Seriously...it will not be a waste of your time. Especially, watching the newest member of the team Nile, come into her own, and kick some major ass. Enjoy! I hope. One tiny spoiler, when Nile shoots her own foot, and Copley says, "You're another one" and Nile replies, "Yeah...I'm new." Precious.
No comments on Woller's eye Marianna? I need some answers! But seriously, I was not a fan of the ending. Maybe I thought the huge build-up would result in a different and less happy ending. Well, kind of Happy considering most of the people in the show ceased to exist. Aside from that, DARK is amazing, episode 7 of season 3 is the real ending in my eyes because of the amazing quality and how it solves most of the mysteries (except Woller's eyes goddammit ). Ep 7 is the real star of the whole show IMO, and that's saying a lot for a show that is so consistent and so well written. Jantje Friese and Baran bo Odar are really really great and I can't wait to see their next project. Also Marianna, I would like to know why not a 10 out of 10? You enjoyed the ending and I don't think I heard any complaints so I'm kind of curious.
Time travel shows always lead to obvious plot holes. Dark was brilliant in its choice to use fixed point time travel. 33 years forward or back. Miss a day you needed to change something? You have to wait 32 years 363 days for another chance. If the writers would have been able to stick to this law it would have been a 20/10.
