Hey guys! I'm back with another hair update. OMG I actually thought this whole "growing out my hair out" process wasn't going to be that tough and I wasn't insanely wrong haha.
I actually fuck fucking hate it lol. I look like some crazy mad scientist or something. I've been wearing hats to try and cover my hair but seriously wearing a hat everyday fucking sucks dick lol. And to top it off the only other alternative I've had is a lowered Manbun and that only works when my hair is straightened (crying face)
P.S sorry for being so slack last week and leaving you in the dark with no vid I just got busy with my birthday and all that good shit.

I started grow out my undercut 3 month ago using coconut oil. Now it is 3-4 inches(backandsides). My hair is straight and it not looks so bad :))You're not alone))). Don't put it in a bun. Side part is good ))

Man, we are so alike. I had like the same undercut style you were rocking, trimmed sides and 13 inches of hair which reaches till my shoulders. I used to receive a lot of compliments till 3 months ago. Yes, three months ago I started growing it from sides for a full man bun. Yesterday I went to the nearby saloon and chopped off my whole long huge pony from behind due to this awkward stage so that my hair from sides can look like the one at top and blend in and it kinda work too. I'd suggest you that as well. However good luck bro. Inspired a lot from your videos and learned all the types of bun and pony from you. Thanks fam. Keep working, much love. 👌😁

Your hair in this video is exactly my hair rn. I started to grow only my top hair until a few months ago to do a full man bun. Now I can do whatever with my top hair while the sides just ruin it. For people experiencing this, I reccomend using hats or bobby pins to make it look more presentable. I currently use a beanie styles as a fisherman/short beanie to cover my sides and the top hair just goes at the back.

Advice for someone who’s had multiple long undercut (like Ragnar style) I bought a pair of Japanese headbands et just wear them for the most part of the year until I’m happy with the length 😊

Just found this vid because I’m about in the same boat, maybe even a couple of months past it. I got a disconnected undercut in probably January of last year, then two months later the pandemic hit us and shut everything down. I got a nice Wahl clipper and re-did my sides and back myself and it actually turned out okay. But now I’m also trying to grow it all out so that it’s about shoulder-length, also going to be able to tuck everything into a bun when I want it up. The top is now about 15” or so, and the sides are about 4”. I hate the look of the up-do right now so I usually wear it long, usually with a beanie or something. So I’ll definitely keep watching.

It'll be worth it once you get it to your desired length. I agree on getting a trim to even it out. I think that will help you with the akward stage. I'm at 8 months from growing from an undercut and have monthly updates. Keep at it. You'll get there before you know it. Have a great week.

He actually grew 2.5 inches in 3 months not 2. His last hair cut (0-1 guard fade) was 19th February. These updates are 1 month out. Hopefully this will encourage you if you're comparing.

Literally decided a couple weeks ago to grow my hair out long, I currently have shaved back n sides and only around 4 inches on top, it's gonna be a long process but your videos are making me feel better! Started the coconut oil head massages too, although I'm a little confused on how often to do it🤔 If you could do any more hair growth tip videos I'd love it! Love the content though man!

Try to slick your sides back using a pomade. it will look better believe me. pro trick: press your comb flat to your head while slicking your hair back. this will make it even more slicker! keep it up man 💪! greetings from Germany ~Dario

Keep it up man! I've been growing out my top knot/ undercut for 9ish months. Quick tip use pomade on the sides, then spray hairspray a comb, and then comb them back with that. Then tie a bandana around the "short parts." After an hour your sides should be relatively flat:) Don't trim the sides. The pain is real :p

Thomas In Action Yes, I agree with Oscar and others who say they grew their's out. I grew mine out for a year or more (my hair grew the same length as yours) my hair on top is a bit longer than yours or maybe about the same, and my sides looked like absolute shit the entire time I was growing it out xD and it never seemed to catch up adequately enough. I would say the only way would be to cut all of my hair down to about an even length, and let it all grow about fairly evenly so it won't look so awkward. But I never have yet :b, because I enjoy this haircut still too much (:. Disconnected.

Yes for sure trim the top, I've grown my undercut out for over 5 months now and my hair looks great, the front of my hair goes to my chin but I've had the back blended and this helped so much with the awkward stage

Exactly 1 year ago (5th day of June 2016) I started growing out my hair. I got inspired by your videos and couldn't wait until my hair was long. For my case actually different, I hate growing hair, I will choose bald if I can. But everyone around me said I'm more attractive if have a long hair. So I am starting with undercut than when I can tie it back the side started to grow like your, but everyone actually like it they said I looks like a samurai (I'm asian).

Don't give up bro. Once you get to month 9-10 your hair should be long enough to put in a bun. I grew my hair out for 14 months and the bun was pretty big but I cut it and now I'm 5 months in to re growing it.

It's awesome that you are growing out your hair too, I am at 6months. If you want inspiration look at a youtuber called Michael South. Also to make the sides neater I spray hairspray on a comb and comb the sides or blowdry it backwards.

I’m growing my undercut out right now, and I have naturally curly hair… I mean like 3b curls. So it appears to grow even slower and right now the sides and back are flipping up everywhere 😂 I love my hair tho. I’m just wearing hats on the days I don’t wash + detangle, and relying on the top to cover the crazy underside. Really looking forward to being able to style and braid it soon.

Started growing all my hair for the second time back in October 2016 so 7 months now, currently it's sitting below my jaw all around. Can currently tie it all back directly level with my ears at the back, but with 2 bobby pins on the side hidden it looks fine. But yeah going out having it down while it's growing is hilarious to me, I've noticed women don't care at all, infact most enjoy me with longer hair, but younger males and the elderly will stare and judge you hard!

Mine took about 6 months to actually enjoy it a little! However, my hair hasn’t grown out to full length of where i would like it to be! My bun is a little off but I plan to grow it a little more in certain area esp the back part of it. But I’ve been debating whether to chop it all off and regrow it but it took so Long! Nice vid!

This is probably more for feminine people (Or not, who cares?), but I have an undercut and I’m growing out my stubble. Something I really like to do is part the top portion of my hair down the middle and wear my hair in a thin bob. I find it’s swell for covering up the stubble and I can trick people into thinking I have a full head of hair :)

The top of your hair is so long you could just have a said or middle part and tie it up around the back and it'll cover your sides while they grow?

I started growing my sides out like 6 months ago. And now I don't wear anything tied up, but I cut a lot of my long hair in the back, so that it connects to the short back hair and then to the front my hair gets longer. I think that is a cool look. Maybe you could go for it too :) Btw I have extremely curly hair

I know I’m late but i found this channel and want to give my story of my hair. I got 3 1/25 on top and 2 inches on sides and on my back i got 3 1/25 cause at the time i was growing a fohawk and today im going for a trim😭

I know some guy has his hair like this and it gets akward when he wear a hat. He told me that the best advice is to wear a bandana so that you can hide the sides.

Im at this stage now. Ppl will say "ur hairs getting long". Oh thats so true... Jus wait till its really long and ppl will then say, ur hair IS long...
