I read the entire Creature Feature collection, and The Pram by Joe Hill was BY FAR the best. I purchased it to support him and have it for good. I also purchased The Lover: A Short Story by Silvia Moreno-Garcia, which I gave a perfect 10/10. ETA: yes, both are free on KU. I agree with MANY of your suggestions, and also highly suggest The Shuddering by Ania Ahlborn, Dead Sea by Tim Curran, and The Exorcist's House by Nick Roberts.
You’ve been reading my mind - I needed new KU recs! I have been trying to read at least one a month but I wish I could read more! I don’t know how I haven’t read slasher witch at the water park yet 😂 It sounds so silly but cute but creepy!!!! And Clown Hunt is a standout for me, too! It was actually the first exteme horror novel that I ever read!! Oo I wanna get to Ghostland!!

KU has been great for exposing me to indie authors like David Sodergren and Gemma Amor. I highly recommend her novellas Dear Laura and Christmas at Wheeldale Inn, and her short story collection Cruel Works of Nature. Old Farmhouses of the North was one of my top reads last year, and I found that on KU too.
