I just wasn’t vibing with the other set, so I returned it & picked out these new pieces, and I LOVE them! 😍 the wood tones make everything feel so cozy, but the are also pretty modern & definitely have a beautiful aesthetic 🥰

The girls are loving the gingerbread theme this year! They’ve been having a blast making cocoa every morning! Also, if you like gingerbread you need to try those Oreos. They are delicious!

Love it so pretty . I don’t mind the coffee station but maybe change the top part looks like so much green maybe mix in some more white and red . I luv the trees though and everything else

I would theme the sections, like you did with the gingerbread/coco bar. I would also add white snow like fabric to the shelves and a thin garland to the mug rack. These tips might help tie the coffee bar together a little more and make it seem a little less overwhelmed by mugs. I think trying to incorporate every mug/favorite item is what was starting to overwhelm you. The living room and coco bar look fantastic!

I have a ridiculous amount of mugs that I have finally thinned out. I'm a retired teacher and I was delighted with every gift from a student. I kept every coffee mug and cherished them. When I retired it was time to get realistic with my collection. I selected a few special, interesting or personalized pieces to keep. The rest over 75, I packed up and gave to a thrift store/ charity shop. It was in the summer time which gave them time to process and place them out. I hope some new teacher gets their collection started with a few of these.

I only have half the RD collection you have. Where I live we don’t get much and there’s a lot of people hunting for it. I’ve noticed that on YT a lot of people are pulling away from it and I truly don’t understand why. It’s like the fever goes and goes for everyone at the same time. Your kitchen looks BEAUTIFUL! I will for ever save and love my holiday Rae Dunn because I have so many memories, those pieces mean a lot to me even if people start hating them, I hope the stores sell them for a few more years.

We are a very small state with a lot of very aggressive hunters, so we usually do big hunting days where we drive a couple of states away. 💛 we’ve gotten very lucky doing that, and having great Dunn buddies!

Since you have so much Rae Dunn you could do a huge display. I can picture shelving all around the top of the living room. It would be so cute mixed with some greenery and lights! Then you could display general decor throughout the year. lol If I collected anything I’d do that in our living room. I’ve thought about it just for Christmas since our toddler loves trains. But we’re minimal and I don’t know what I’d display on them year round. 🤷‍♀️

We try to keep all of the Rae Dunn in the kitchen 😊 It’s not my preference for decor, I only set up the Rae Dunn because my children love it so much. 😅

Love your collection. My suggestion for your coffee area is to break up the green Rae Dunn with your red. Mix it up a bit more and step back to see how it looks afterwards. 😁

Megan what can I say. Everything looks so festive and wonderful. I love the new book case and the decor you used on it. I have told you before how green with envy I am over your Rae Dunn collection. Being able to display and use it in your kitchen is so much fun. My wish would be for you to open an Etsy shop and sell Rae Dunn pieces on it when you declutter it. I have a hard time finding it and I don't have any room to store it so I can't have much but I would certainly get some more pieces. Yes I would enjoy watching a home tour when you are all done.

That sounds nice in theory, but it’s totally normal to feel frustrated with decorating sometimes. It doesn’t always “flow” naturally for everyone.

Everything looks great! I think I'm going to regret not gettin' the deer🙆‍♀️ I love the gingerbread man & girl mugs. At the store yesterday, they didn't have them.😔 I did get a couple things I was lookin' for. Yeah!😁 I am watchin' Christmas videos drinkin' my pumpkin spice coffee. LOL. Those gingerbread mugs are hot items at Target lol. They can be really hard to find in stores. Your best bet would be to order online if you want them 😊

I got this reindeer after watching your target haul because I had one that I wasn't in love with that was cheaper but held off purchasing. Then your video came out and I had to have it. I haven't decorated yet but I can't wait till you get to see the photo I have visioned for it 😊

For 5 dollars extra with the sleighbells that I wanted, an inch and a half taller then what I saw and my target dollars took off the tax for it because once I saw your haul I knew I had to have it so I rushed to get it. It's absolutely beautiful and my favorite piece right now lol

i like red and green together so I would have taken a lid off one of the red canisters and swapped it for a green one so I have a red canister with green lid. Idk if you have any red and green same size for the lids to fit each other.

Love what you did with all your decorations. Try flip flopping the Santa Fuel canister with the Reindeer Fuel canister below it. I am in love with the large white reindeer.

Maybe try to do Christmas themes each year for your kitchen do a gingerbread theme because your kids have a gingerbread hot cocoa bar that can be a good idea

We don’t have enough gingerbread decor for me to do the entire kitchen in that theme. So I would have to go out every year and buy all new decor for the kitchen if I were going to do that. We enjoy using our Rae Dunn as decor in our kitchen 😊

I’m no ray dunn expert; although, I do love it…. Maybe try switching some of the colored canister lids with each other to bring more color to all areas. Green on red, red on white etc. It may help pull it all together a little more to your liking! Either way, you did a phenomenal job and I love the videos!
